Hello, I live at the following address where I encountered a Jokr delivery man in the elevator around 7:40 pm ET: 1 N 4th Pl Brooklyn, NY 11249 The man was already in the elevator with the big blue Jokr carrying pack on. He had his cell phone out and was playing a video on loud speaker for my girlfriend, myself, and another rider to hear. The video was of a preacher loudly talking about how anyone gay or of a certain background were going to hell (and preaching other extremely close minded views). It was very offensive to listen to, but I asked him to simply turn it down. He clearly understood my language as he immediately shook his head 'no'. I asked him again and he shook his head again. This man was then completely took off his mask in the elevator (which was already below his nose) as if to dare me to say something again to him. I have used Jokr before (just not this night), and am now questioning what kind of background checks they have in hiring their local delivery persons. I hope this is an isolated incident, but I do not plan to use Jokr at all anymore. Steve
No opt-out from daily promotional push notifications

This application does give users options to control settings or opt out of promotional push notifications, which are sent daily. I spoke to customer service and requested to opt out of marketing notifications-twice- and was twice assured that they would stop. I continue to receive them daily. The only way to turn it off is to decline ALL push notifications, which makes the user experience of actually ordering poor.
Inability to allow users to opt out of marketing and continuing to contact customers who have requested to be removed are two violations of customer protection laws.
Overpriced and doesn’t work

Spent 45 min setting up a grocery order. Even after $50 off the pricing was steep but that’s fine, you pay for convenience. I worry that with the high pricing people will tip the drivers less. There should be a minimum driver tip. Anyways, I got to check out and there was an error after putting in my debit card. I put in the info again making sure it was right and same thing. No option for Apple Pay which is the most sensible route. I tried closing it out like they said to try again and my entire grocery list was gone. The app wasted my time and saving time was the whole point. Never again.

I’ve tried a number of the fast delivery services in NYC and this one is by far the worst. I’ve had missing items in almost every single order I’ve placed, they regularly don’t reach me within 15 minutes and I’ve even had issues with orders never showing up after I’ve placed them because they “have no record of my order,” even though it’s shown up on my CC statement. Do yourself a favor and delete this app and try a different delivery service if you want something that is actually reliable.
