We were required to update XplorTriib because Triib made our gym switch-it’s awful. We went from a very simple app to RSVP for classes, see who was attending classes, see the workout, track out workouts and PRs. This new app is so slow and glitchy! I cannot see who was in past classes to see if my friends have already gone to class or not, I cannot see who is in a future class without signing up for that class-and that’s huge task to get to that point! Too many steps to “book” a class. Should be one button. If the time is 4pm it should take you to the 4pm or 5pm class (the upcoming class) not start you back at the beginning of the day to scroll through then possibly flip to the next day and have to start all over again because there’s no way to tell by the design which day is which. A simple white background could be “today” and a gray background could mean “not today”. The other annoying thing about XplorTriib is the active part of XplorTriib in the schedule section is only the bottom half when your scrolling for classes. The rest is taken up by wasted space of breadcrumbs. So stupid! I’m so annoyed I’m paying for this through my gym. Don’t worry they know about it but if it was up to me I would cancel XplorTriib.

Every time I try to log in I get a message that I lost my internet connection. No…it takes XplorTriib so long to respond that it times out. When I finally get in (it took me 17 minutes today), it took another 14 minutes to book three classes. I had to make multiple attempts to get everything to work. Nothing will load so I can’t see workouts, who is attending, and my schedule. Not one thing works well with XplorTriib. Not one. One star is a gift.

It seemed like a good software from the demo but we’ve had glitches from day #1. The salesman over promised features that don’t exist and their timelines are outright lies. It takes constant follow up with support to get anything to happen. (BrandBot with us the marketing automation piece is even worse with glitches and wildly unhelpful support)

From one gym owner to another, buy another software.

Unfortunately we have had a $7000 payment taken by xplor triib studios “fraud team”. There is no real person to talk to and no way to get this resolved. So if they decide a charge seems “fraudulent” I guess they just keep your company’s money and that’s all. No way for you to dispute or find out what has happened. They will just answer with generic responses and I guess we lose $7000 and Triib just keeps it. NEVER USE XPLOR TRIIB THEY WILL STEAL YOUR COMPANY MONEY.

This is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to write a review about an app… I’m assuming that Xplor acquired Triib as we were made to switch to XplorTriib at my gym. I hate it so much. Not only is it extremely slow and every time you click something it takes minutes to load, but you also have to click through about 3 different screens just to book a class…

XplorTriib is flaming garbage. User interface is clunky and illogical. Functionality (IF it even works) is overly complex and not intuitive - why does it take two clicks, endless lagging scrolls, and three more taps register for a class? It keeps crashing and members have to be manually added to classes by admins because of that. Our gym was forced into its usage due to the absorption of Triib and I can’t believe they charge for its use. Burn it down and start over.

At least once a week, I have to remove and re-download XplorTriib so it can reload and work properly. Sometimes when I open it, the main part of the screen is blank and the bottom menu reads like I have the business admin version to see customers, etc. Nothing is clickable though. Other times it’s just blank or spinning wheel. Really frustrating.

Have the creators of XplorTriib ever used it as a gym member? It’s not intuitive to do anything. Need to reset your password? Better know what “gym member area” means 🤷🏼‍♀️. Want to change your communication preferences so you don’t get an email, text and message in your app inbox to log your results? Good luck. Want to check out the leaderboard? It’s just awful. Please, app creators, do some user testing and launch an update. We’re all begging you!

Going from Triib to XplorTriib is extremely frustrating. It’s needlessly complicated to schedule a class, and that is assuming that app even works on that particular day. Everytime I try to schedule a class it tries to charge me the $20 drop in fee despite having an unlimited membership at my gym. So far I have yet to figure out how to view a leaderboard. I’m not even sure XplorTriib supports a feature like that.

XplorTriib is extremely disappointing and outdated. It doesn’t provide the 1RM percentage calculations that are crucial for my workouts. While it’s said to be user-friendly for gym owners, it’s clear that athletes were not considered in its design. XplorTriib should easily calculate how much I should lift based on a percentage of my 1 rep max. This is basic functionality that many other apps offer. I expected more from XplorTriib, but it falls short in so many areas.

The worse experience I’ve had thus far with any fitness company software I could imagine. They continually double charge customers with no explanation why, don’t take payments on time even if it’s scheduled with no explanation why, have so many bugs you wonder if they’re ever doing anything to improve the experience let alone listen to customer (businesses) complaints.

They continually make my business look bad by not communicating what issues they may currently have (bugs, glitches, etc.) so we can better serve our customers. Yet they manage to take my monthly payment EARLY with no explanation. This system is the worse on the market. I tried to stick it out and support a small business.. especially being a small business owner but this has gotten out of hand!

Five clicks (really slowly, because nothing loads well) to book a single workout. That is, if everything works as designed, which it never does. Touch to select a date and it scrolls to the wrong date, or never moves at all. Always reverts back to the beginning of the current day, even though that would *never* be the option I’m looking for. Its also unconscionably slow to load a minimal set of data. Triib was barebones but streamlined. Xplor is a garbage fire.

XplorTriib does not make any sense. The Ui is super glitchy and it takes a million taps to complete any simple action. The back button visually looks like the screen is moving forward in navigation, which design wise is so confusing for the user. You can’t see who is attending classes in the future or in the past, and XplorTriib crashes or freezes every time you open it. Visually and functionally a mess of an app. All of my stats from Triib are completely gone. My gym was forced to migrate and everyone hates the interface

My gym has been using the TRIIB app since the very beginning. While XplorTriib was never perfect it got better as the years went by. It was a simple process for members to check in to classes and log scores. We migrated to XplorTriib recently and it is a pile of garbage like everyone says. I have already cancelled my TRIIB account and am moving to another platform for my CrossFit affiliate. I wish I had known what a disaster this would be before I did migration so I wouldn’t be in this mess. If you haven’t migrated yet, do yourself a favor and find another platform cause this one is trash.

All the same complaints other reviewers have. Slow, too many clicks to sign up for a class, poor design all around. Super glitchy. Could never see the whiteboard, although some members can. Deleted and reinstalled app and now can’t book a class because it says I have no membership. Online account is fine in that it allows me to do it. Still poor UI design. We had WODify before this and members loved it but owners had issues on backend. Can’t imagine that part is any better than what members are having to deal with. Still scratching my head about why they would go with an app that has 1 star….

Adding to all the justified hate on XplorTriib. We migrated over due to Triib being bought out. Continuous issues! Members can’t reserve for class. I’ve reported the issue for a week with no solution. I’m continuously told that it will be a “top priority”. Just this one issue is costing the gym time & money requiring coaches time to reserve classes for members. And that is just ONE issue. You can’t see product cost, many clicks to reserve for class, very slow to open any screen, can’t purchase more than one product at a time, & there are STILL more issues. Go with another software system for at least a couple years until they get all this mess figured out. Not worth the time, expense, or frustration.

Triib was amazing. We always received a friendly voice when we would call as issues arose with Triib. Since the switch, we have had multiple issues that go unanswered. We have 4 open help tickets, the back office shows we have ZERO gym members. Several members have been charged twice and we have had to comp 10 drop ins because we could not allow them to purchase the drop in from the new system. This company is an absolute mess and an example of what happens when a VC firm buys a good operation but has no idea how to run it. Furthermore, they believe they can maintain current levels of profit and expand their margins by outsourcing all of the support. Seek another company for your admin and financial support/reporting.

XplorTriib is terrible! The old Triib app was very responsive and so much better, but my gym switched so I have no choice but to use this one. Signing up for classes is unbearably slow. I actually don’t know how they managed to make it take so long to load the schedule. It cannot be much data that needs to be loaded.

Honestly the reviews made us a bit nervous… people complaining about having too many things to tap to set up a session time (try going in and setting up the default settings on your memberships etc.) makes it super easy.

Will report back the more we use it. But this is way better. Maybe…

Haven’t had any issues, loading fine, navigation is great overall, yes there’s a lot more going on, but it’s still better than Triib.

Had a major discrepancy with my account that I wasn’t aware of, the issue was brought to MY attention by Diane (part of the Xplor team) my representative. She gave me a clear and decisive plan on when and what was going to happen, with daily updates! They handled the situation all on their own. Thank you Diane, just wanted to give credit where it’s due.

XplorTriib is very easy to use by the way, don’t listen to all of these disgruntled people. Yes a few more clicks to reserve a class… who cares. App works nicely, with more useful tools and features to utilize for your gyms success.
