Total scam!! HORRIBLE!!
Once they have your credit card, you no longer have ANY control over billing WHATSOEVER! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!! I had to cancel my credit card & report them as fraud to get this recurring charge to stop. This is a total scam! Never even got a single reply from my therapist. Not one. EVER. In the month I had paid for this. No response from their “customer service” either. The only “profile setting” you can change in the app is your screen name. Can’t access billing or anything else. No alerts through the messaging system either (though maybe I just didn’t receive anything because my therapist never replied to me…not sure…but I didn’t see anywhere I could receive alerts when I was messaged so….I feel like it wasn’t me…it was the app.) JUST DON’T!!! Please! Save yourself the trouble& DO NOT use this!!!!!!

I subscribed to DoMental for three months. I was down to the final days of my subscription and talking with my therapist and out of no where was told by “support” she was no longer with DoMental and was given a new therapist. I only had a few days left so I wrote back saying it wasn’t worth it to start from the beginning with a new therapist in my last few days and asked for any explanation on what happened to my therapist who I had come to trust as we’d talked almost everyday for three months. I got no reply, no explanation, nothing. My therapist was amazing but the final days of my subscription was just all very odd and left me wishing for closure on the whole process. I guess that’s a downside of virtual therapy but I wish things had ended differently.

Worse than useless
It’s like Uber for your mind, when you’re vulnerable! If you do a test you’ll note the first several weeks they learn enough about you for massive identity theft. Company T&C you warrant that the “therapists” are not employees — just like Uber drivers! —and they’re not offering medical advice. Impossible to cancel, they have only one point of contact, help@, and when you send a contact form it gives you no receipt so you can’t prove that you’ve cancelled.
