I thought these were really great because you could adjust with MyOlive . Now MyOlive crashes and does not allow me to sign in, so the aids are useless

MyOlive is pretty bad, which makes the expense of the olive pro money down the toilet.

Can sometimes get to the setting by clicking past the login but then other things don’t work.

MyOlive worked with my two previous Olive hearing aids. I purchased the Olive Air aids and MyOlive stopped working. I can no longer log in. When I try MyOlive just brings me back to the permissions page. I have been in contact with customer service/ support and done everything they suggested with no luck. Sorry but I can’t recommend Olive products.

These things as hearing aids? Lol please do not waste your money. They sound like a set of tin cans and I have been wearing hearing aids for over 10 years. Thought I would give these a try and they are just terrible+

Over the past few weeks I’ve loaded, deleted, reloaded, tried to update, deleted and reloaded MyOlive so many times it’s ridiculous. The hearing devices work well, when they work. They depend on MyOlive to work properly though and MyOlive is awful. It demands to be updated but stops working afterwards. Even you manage to get it functional celebrate, but eventually it will disconnect for some random reason and then you are stuck and can’t do anything. It’s so frustrating. It was a lot of money to buy the two sets and now I can’t get them to work. No way will I invest in the upgraded model. They need to get MyOlive functional and respect the users out there.

I heard nothing in the left ear during the hearing test. Granted, I have moderate to severe loss in that ear, but to hear NOTHING? I would like to be able to enter a professional audiogram. Music pauses whenever switching to MyOlive, making it impossible to set up a good EQ. Bluetooth drops sometimes.

App logs out constantly after giving a notification of a log file. Kinda weird it does this. Tried deleting and reinstalling several times. Used to be good.

I have had a chance now to wear these devices for extended periods of time and here is my OPINION solely based on Subjective impressions on my normal hearing ears. I have not tested them yet using REM.
PROS: Comfortable fit, they have a hearing self-assessment function, fairly good sound quality for music, video, and calls, app driven (when it is accessible and functional), battery life consistent with reported, noted some noise suppression in Quiet setting.
CONS: Significant connectivity issues (earphones kept un-connecting from IPhone and app kept un-connecting from earphones; connection of app and earphones rejected frequently; have not been able to get MyOlive to connect since day one, even with deleting and re-installing MyOlive ), question validity of hearing test (very easy to guess or time tones; does not match my actual pure-tone audiogram, which is inconsistent with my experiences with other self-assessments), notice a fair amount of circuit/equivalent input noise compared to other earphones with the same functionality and in the same class, did not notice significant environmental noise suppression compared to competitors. Did not note a "Boost" in that setting.

Also bought these with the Kickstarter campaign and have not been able to get app to work. Have reinstalled 4 times. Every time it tries to update it crashes. At one point no sound was not coming out of the right side during the hearing test. Somehow it was at 0 when the left was at 8. Really hoping they get MyOlive fixed because I am an educator and really could use these.

I read in the reviews and people had problems with MyOlive. I too had to delete and reinstall MyOlive four times before it started working correctly. MyFirst set of all if Pro buds would never connect correctly to MyOlive. I could hear people on the other side just fine like they said it I was not very clear on theirSide. Finally I had them replace and it still took four times to download and delete before I got MyOlive work right. MyOlive still needs a lot of work

Update about a week ago, seems to be bad. It updates and shows the new version. Then next time I log in it tells me I need to update again. This has happened every day. Also it show one of ears is not working but I can tell it is. Please fix the update process and be sure it is working. Using iPhone 14 max with current version of IOS.

I can’t get signed in to be able to adjust my sound settings because every time I try, MyOlive crashes. I have deleted and reinstalled, made sure my phone has more than enough room available to run MyOlive , etc. I don’t need games in MyOlive , but I don’t think it’s asking too much for MyOlive to be functional so I can control my hearing devices.

MyOlive only seems to work some of the time. I usually have to restat MyOlive and/or completely reconect my ear buds several time before MyOlive allows me to change any setting on the ear buds. Another major shortcomming of MyOlive is the tiny little grey text on the dark grey/black background. Think this one through... What's your target demographic? Presumably alot of folks who are having difficulty hearing are over 40 years of age. Loss of vision is more prevalent with age than loss of hearing. Please can you make MyOlive easy for folks over 40 to read! At least turn up the contrast. I feel like I paid alot of money for a product that has great potential but is being held back by unreliable software that's nearly impossible to see at times.

The best part is the price. And it has the potential to be a decent, not outstanding, Hearing Aid. The worst part is MyOlive connecting is just short of a nightmare in 2023. This should have all been worked out.

It’s very frustrating that MyOlive won’t sync with my iPhone. I’ve rebooted the system and also reloaded MyOlive , but no success. Let’s see how responsive the tech support to my issue. This issue seems to be a recurring problem with many owners of this product.

I have a moderate hearing disorder and got these with high hopes which were not fulfilled. Instructions lacking and ability to use volume function through app poor. Taping sides worked sometimes and sometimes not. I have hearing aids(“10”) and bose hearphones (“8”) and BeHear now (“7”). And Nuheara (“5”). As a so-called hearing aid I rate these as a 3 at best. More detailed instructions would help but can not recommend

The Bluetooth connection was flawless and getting started instructions were clear. I went through the hearing test and I definitely recommend finding the most quiet room you can find. The results were very close to a professional hearing exam. I like the ability to control the EQ per ear (I only have issues with my left ear) and the settings are as simple as I would expect. My only concern is I can’t get the volume boost as high as I need to come close to my hearing aid. I’m guessing there are some limits intentionally added as it’s a consumer-controlled vs professional-controlled device, but for now, I’ll stick with my hearing aid as this won’t cut it until the volume can be boosted a lot more.

I just received my Olive Pros today. MyOlive connected flawlessly and all the adjustments work. Music sounds fantastic! I had just purchased Bose QC earbuds and I’d say the noise cancellation is on par.

My first attempt at the hearing test wasn’t accurate and I intend to retest. I normally wear hearing aids but with my limited test…they seem really good.

I’ll do an update after a couple of weeks.

I’ve had the Olive “Aid’s” for about a year now. I don’t use them as often as I should. But they’ve worked really well for me. If there’s an issue with MyOlive , reinstall it. It does work and is pretty cool. Run through the hearing test and learn the one-touch settings. Great for listening to music as well.
