Yeah, I’m gonna be real: I really wanted to like Lapse. I pre ordered it off tiktok when they first started advertising it, and I was SO excited. But honestly, I was using it for the waiting feature, not to be bullied into adding my contacts/have a “social experience” only to be given an ugly and non-removable watermark over my photos. As far as disposable camera apps go, this one is far at the bottom for me - try Dispo (if you like waiting) or Huji (if you don’t) as both of them are far superior.

The point? Nonexistent.
I downloaded this app from TikTok and was super excited to use it, only to find out you need to wait over a day for one photo to form and you get a limit per day. See, I could deal with that. So I take my photos and wait for them to form, but when they do I’m met with a regular photo with a cheap filter you can find on Snapchat over it. If you’re downloading this for the memories feature , just get snapchat. At least you can choose if you want a trashy filter or not.

Cool concept
I like the concept of the app, but I would rather not wait so long to get my pictures. If you want the app to get pictures that look like disposable photos, then I would recommend just editing them yourself. Maybe if my friend group was going out, and we all wanted to use the group thingy, then it would be fun?
