Has potential, the game play is fun but frustrating. Please add a dodge button would make the game actually playable, enemies should not be able to hit you while you are hitting them, when facing multiple enemies they just hit lock you, and you can’t do anything. Game needs a sense of progression outside of during actual gameplay otherwise why keep playing, it’s fun to play here and there but there is no reason to really return to the game. It always amazes me when developers don’t have good progression in games, progression is what brings people back to your game, progression is what makes people spend money on games, it’s literally mobile gaming development 101

I like the game and it has co-op but the problem with the game is you’re the protagonist yet your characters feel so powerless against even the most basic enemy and it becomes much more apparent the more you play the game. Every enemy has more x and y-axis attack range than you outside of a few special attack. Enemies that spawn next to you are invincible for a second and gets to do a free combo on you. The later enemies all have invincibility frames as they’re knocked down and get back up, yet the player have little to no ways to get out of a combo, juggled or attacked as soon as you get up. I’ve spent money on the game and have tried all the characters, even obtaining the level 20 weapons and using them but there’s a lack of noticeable upgrades when equipping new gear because your damage and health upgrades feel non-existant. The game’s unfair difficulty is very much stacked against the player and it can often times feel unfun to go and replay the game or when grinding characters levels up.
Maximus 2 is very much lacking compared to other modern or even old school beat em up games, especially if you play alone. I wouldn’t recommend playing unless if you play co-op or with a friend.

I would say this is like a downgrade of Blackmore 2 because if takes a bit of time to get money and the characters cost so much so it takes forever to get new characters. There’s also less weapons to get and such there’s also these hidden stuff throughout the game I found a sword floating in the sky on the part where you first fight the black mage but you can’t get it and there’s also no pets for the other characters.
