Pro: ability to scan pins is nice.

Cons: they want to charge $1.50 for every sale, even for single pins. That’s nuts. This is on top of a subscription fee. Thankfully I’m not using the buy/sell feature but that seems like a money grab for the developer. Feels like we are all crowdsourcing their pin database for them and they reap the monetary rewards.

you must take front and back photos of everything.

The lookup process is pretty slow, which adds up when checking many pins.

They changed how their app works after I finally spent the time to scan my 50+ pins front and back and used the free 2 boards to be locked out of MagicPin being forced to pay their ‘new’ ‘better’ subscription plan.

I just created this account, but I cannot even explore because MagicPin wants me to pay for a subscription. There is literally NO OPTION to not get a subscription. I would absolutely LOVE to use MagicPin, but I cannot since I’m being forced to use my money. 😭 please fix this.

I see that I get 2 free boards, but I can’t even play around with anything because I get the pop up every time. 😭😭😭 I want to like it but I can’t since I can’t look around.

I tried to get a verification for my email, and it never sent. Not even once. Even checked my spam folder. I wish you were able to use your phone number too so you know it’s not in some type of spam. I was so excited. Please fix this in your next update. I really want to love MagicPin.

MagicPin is neat enough to start off, but all you can do without having to pay is have 40 pins marked as “collected.” You cant start trading or buying without paying… which seeing as how the entire point of MagicPin IS to collect, buy, and trade I feel like it’s a bit of a money trap.

MagicPin could be a lot more inclusive if the paid version added perks as opposed to determining the entire function of MagicPin . This could be making those who pay see more pin trade offers or have more trades per given time or LIMITING (giving them the opportunity to trade but still not as much as payers) how many trades one can make per given time.

I don't think there is a free option or your bug is not fixed because I cannot get in without getting a subscription. I can understand offering a subscription but how do I know I will like your app. Pin trading is a hobby and I'm not looking to sell or trade. I just want to identify pins.

Neat idea, but I’d like to be able to pick photos from my library instead of taking photos via MagicPin . The quality of photos taken through MagicPin is pretty poor. I’d also like to be able to look up and import the info about my pin when I add it to MagicPin . There are other databases out there that I can use to look up pin info and track the pins I own, but they don’t seem to have mobile apps. The perfect app would combine the lookup, tracking, and trading features of this app and those other database sites.

Ok so MagicPin looks cool and I was listing my first pin to sell but do the pins really ship?? Like do they come to your house? Because I don’t wanna spend 60 dollars for a pin that doesn’t even come to you. So please tell me if it comes to me or not. Thank you

This is such a good app to have fun with your Disney pins. Scanning them, organizing them, trading them all in one place. So fun to have everything digital! 🤩

you’ll love MagicPin if you love pin trading, they provide multiple options to trade pins like third party verification, in person or direct shipping. The CEO is very nice and very helpful as well when i was getting to know MagicPin !

MagicPin is the best pin app since 1. You get to trade, buy and keep track of your pins! 2. You can also meet new people on MagicPin! It is just awesome!

I’ve been collecting Disney pins for years. This has made it so much better! I can sell duplicate pins, buy pins I still need, and keep track of my collection quite nicely. That’s what MagicPin does, it’s great.

Cool idea. Easy to use. So far I’ve been able to access find pins I’m interested in.

this app app has created an amazing feel for pin traders. Where you can now collect by selling trade, your favorite Disney pins. I am also able to rearrange all my pins on separate boards. Also able to find other pin traders inside the parks.

I subscribe just to support the dev.
Couple maybe improvements

1) Don’t force a photo of back of pin
2) keep letting me add pins from anywhere not just Disney
3) let me hide blank boards I purchased for later.
4)keep up the updates!!!! Love yall and whatcha been doing here

It’s a really great app and is really helpful! One thing that could make it even better is when you scan you pin it did a better job removing the background or at least there being a option to do it myself. Other than that an amazing app and I totally recommend 😁

MagicPin is seriously legit! Super helpful in keeping track of all my pins.
