We got there around 4:30. There were 4 pieces of baked chicken and I grabbed a breast. The chicken was so dried out, it was kind of leathery. Could not eat it. I wanted some cooked cabbage but it looked terrible. The popcorn shrimp is a joke. Balls of fried breading. Just terrible. The baked fish was dried out also. The turnip greens didn’t taste as good as you use to do them. The cook that was doing the steaks didn’t know what he was doing. The customer next to me wanted rare steak, he got medium to well done. I wanted a medium steak and I got well done. It too was dry. I was so disappointed. Overall the food looked like it had not been rotated and had sat out too long. Very disappointed to pay that much and have crappy food!

Went for fish. Tried to order by phone so it would be ready and was told I couldn’t order by phone😒. So I went there and told them I wanted a large carry out container full of fish. First they said they didn’t have any, then they said they did but it would take 5 to 10 min. I waited fifteen and then asked if it was ready yet and it had not even been started. Then another man came from the freezer with a pan and said it will be ready in 6 min. That 6 minutes took 20 min. And all I got was a sorry. The fish was great, but I must say I was not happy about the long wait. I get a large order of fish about every 3 weeks and I was never treated like this before.

I am surprised the quality food is not the way Golden Corral was when they first open, several years ago. I thought the biggest mistaken was for the Corral to keep Ryans servers. The food was delicious for the first six months, then servers became more lacks.
Well, today is the first time since Golden Corral reopened, the food was still not the same quality it once was. I had to ask for two serving spoons, because they had one spoon for two dishes. This would be a very nice place to eat, but you really need to work on the food prep!
Today our server (Kaylynn)was very nice, you need more to care. She is waiting on a fourth of the restaurant, making her way to each table. She is very polite and friendly.
There will be some that will eat here, simply because it is a buffet. I am not one of those people! I want to enjoy my food, I don’t eat a lot! I had gastric bypass, so food has to taste for me to come back! I do hope the service and quality food improves. This could be a very nice place to eat!

As always the staff is very friendly and very helpful. We always have friendly people who work hard and give great service. We always tip our servers. The variety of food choice seems to be going down at GC. I thought they were trying to renovate or reinvent themselves to be associated with quality.
They did not have non-dairy creamer for coffee and a sudden trip to the bathroom found the TP dispenser EMPTY. Ugh!
We will eventually come back, but not like we have in the past. We hope to have a better experience when we ever return.

The vegetables are not as bland as 2 weeks ago and the lima beans are not as hard and bland. They ran out of cabbage and did not have anymore to put out so I missed out on having 1 serving. I hope they don’t change the starting date again for breakfast. I understand because maybe they won’t be ready to start in January like they previously advertised two weeks. Hopefully, they will start February. We are so excited about breakfast. We hope they bring back the omelets and regular breakfast pork chops. Honey for oatmeal too!

Alexandria LA location reopened today - so happy for this since it’s been closed almost 18 months due to the pandemic. Came to support the reopening and, overall, am pleased - especially for the day of opening !
Very clean, good food, polite staff and all appeared to be working hard.
Only one aspect was bothersome - inconsistent mask wearing (none or on but not covering nose) as well as numerous patrons who either didn’t wear masks and/or gloves while at he buffet or walking around. I pointed this out to one of the managers who assured me that it’d be addressed today.

We’ve visited twice this month. The food was deliciously familiar with Golden Corrals we’ve visited in Florida & in the south. Restaurant was bright & clean, most workers were attentive & pleasant, there were hand sanitizer stations throughout, & sanitizer on the tables, servers & workers were masked, food shields in place over foods. Food stations kept clean but a few selections were slow to be refilled.
Atmosphere was fine, mostly families and seniors at the time we visited.
Bathrooms could have used a bit of attention; paper on the floors & toilets & faucet needed a wipe down, but overall it was clean. I’m sure it would help if guests picked up after themselves.
Not sure how soon we’ll return but we’re glad GC is here in the Bx. We hope this location does well & maintains a high level of service.

She didn’t give me her name, as I was getting ready to sit down the table was wet and I asked her to dry it off. She had dropped a napkin on the floor and picked it up and wiped the table off with it. I then questioned her about it and she said she rapped another one around it. She then asked me if I wanted another table as if she was offended. She then walks over to the other waitress and says something to her and she turns & looks at me. I was ignored by them both for the duration of my visit. The food was good but the service was definitely not

We come every Sunday morning. I enjoy the omelettes very much especially when the eggs are fresh.
Moreover I would appreciate if you would post a sign showing gluten free, then I would have more choices that way.
My husband loves turkey and he has noticed that you do not have it anymore.
We loved Sherry as our server, she knew what we like to drink, she doesn’t ask every time.

Paula has been our waitress since the restaurant opened up and has been simply outstanding the entire time! She makes us feel like we’re at her home! Paula along with your outstanding food and cleanliness of your restaurant has kept us coming back! Keep up the good work! We have recommended you to all of our friends!

Tonight we went to Golden Corral for the first time…Due to COVID, this was our first opportunity to check the restaurant out. It didn’t disappoint! The food was delicious and the waitress was very accommodating The tables were roomy, and spread out, people wore plastic gloves when they went to the buffet.. it seems as though the COVID protocols were in place to insure everyone had a safe, healthy enjoyable meal. Looking forward to our next visit.

We are really glad there is a location close to us right now. We have had two visits and have truly enjoyed the food and service. We know of Nick who is a server there. He has given us excellent service each time we’ve been there. Always makes sure we have soda and always asks us if we need anything. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want a great buffet.

I am from West Monroe, La. our Golden Corral is now closed. Dan was our server in Branson , Mo! Branson is my sisters favorite place to go. She visits at least once a month all year round. Dan did an excellent job! He was asking us and everyone around us if we found everything and had a drinks refilled in a timely manner! My husband and brother in law also mentioned how good Dan was. We all also personally told Dan thank you. It was an amazing experience!

Today was our first visit to a buffet style restaurant in a very long time and it was very pleasant. We weren’t sure what to expect, with all the new changes, but you know what? It was still great!
When our server greeted us she pointed out that they had gloves at the bar for us to wear (if we wanted ... we did) and if we had any questions to let her know. She kept our drinks full and was very attentive bringing fresh plates at just the right time, I never had to wait or ask ... they just showed up. She removed the used plates throughout our meal, so no mess there as we were dining.
The food was delicious, there were many options and surely something for everyone.
Bravo Golden Coral, we had a great experience and look forward to coming back.

As my sister and I came to celebrate Valentine Brunch together we had a wonderful time on the side of the restaurant that we like. We had excellent service from our waitress Ms. Twila Gardner, she kept our drinks filled as well as our table cleared. She even made sure we had enough plates to keep going back up for more. Any questions we had she’d answered them with a quickness. This has been the best consistent service we’ve had ever.

The food was very good definitely go back again I felt bad for the servers and the people behind the line they could not keep up with the amount of food that was displayed and I know this is trying times in the Covid industry trying to find people to work so I just took it with a grain of salt but they were doing the best they could went to the Manchester New Hampshire location and there was just a lot of grumbling amongst the servers and people behind the line there wasn’t enough people on the line

Our family LOVES this place! We eat here as often as we can even though we live 25 miles away. The food is so fresh and home-cooked delicious! Management and staff is friendly and caring. It’s true that it’s for anyone as each person can choose what and how much or little they want to eat. The meat and vegetables are crazy delicious! We missed them during covid but they’re back as fantastic as ever. It’s a very pleasant experience even down to the background music. Thanks to everyone there for your quality service and reasonable prices. It’s worth much more than we paid.

We had the pleasure of meeting and being greeted by Tim and his lovely wife. The sincere kindness and hospitality is what speaks volumes about this location. Today was my mother in laws 81st birthday. We had a cake made for her and I called ahead and spoke with Tim and he assured me that it was okay to bring the cake for the special occasion. As soon as we got there his Wife was at the ready to take the cake to the fridge and offer the happiest of birthdays. Tim was so sweet giving the special wishes as well. You can tell he values his customers and it shows. It was so nice and his whole team were pretty awesome, too! Thank you for the kindness today.

We were so excited to have Golden Corral open near us we seem to go every time we go to Effingham ! The place is always clean ! The people that work there are always happy and eager to help! There is one cashier that is there a lot when we come during the day who is extra special The one time we came in and it was her birthday ( she had a little pin on saying it was) but she was still happy not grumbling that she was working on her day ! It made me smile and since she was the first one we saw when we walked in it made the whole experience that much better! Thank you for coming to Effingham !!

Had to go to Sioux City, and was Thrilled To See Golden Corral There Was Open Again; so of course, We went for Lunch. The place looked Great, and the Food was Delicious all the Way from the Soup, Salad, choices of Entrees, and the Desserts (my Favorite, Carrot Cake😋)! I must Compliment the lady Working the Salad Bar! She’s one of the most pleasant, hardest Working People I’ve ever seen! I was there for Over two hours, and She Never Stop Working The Whole Time! Awesome Employee👍I was in the Restaurant/ Lounge business over 30 years, and she Is great! Don’t know her name, but Golden Corral, you are Fortunate to have her! I’m So happy Golden Corral is Back! Will Stop Again Every time I Come down to Sioux City!

This is the best buffet restaurant I ever been too. The food is excellent, and the staff works very well together. Management lets the staff do their job. Waitresses are fantastic.
