Gameplay inconsistencies are jarring to say the least. You could place money on the same 3-4 outcomes every time you make contact with the ball. Majority of the time it's flying straight to an outfielder, other two times it's a pop up to the pitcher or catcher. If not those then it's a foul ball. The AI is such poorly coded in this game, my short stop never moves. My outfielders seem to always pale in comparison to the other teams' in that the opposing teams seem to always be right under the ball as soon as contact is made. The inputting in this game seems terrible as well, it's almost as if it never says I tap where I actually do. Only the tip of the iceberg. Also, the tutorial the game gives you on how and what hits should yield which result is misinforming as well. What the game told me a home run would be doesn't result in one smh. Rating this two stars only because when it's fun it's very fun but whenever the gameplay gets super inconsistent it makes me regret my purchases.

The game concept overall isn’t terrible I really like how you can play with minor teams, but the fact you have to pay for most of the teams and pay for every other customization is kind of annoying. However the main problem is the game play I would give the pitching 4 stars easy to learn and rewarding when you time it right but that’s the only good thing about the gameplay. On fielding I would rather have four year olds fielding they constantly miss catches and throws and move like they have 2 torn acls. Although frustrating it is nothing compared to the hitting even though I selected rookie because it was my first time playing I have still gone 15 games without getting a hit I’ve only made contact a few times and every time it was a pop up or foul ball. Changing the difficulty doesn’t do much for making it harder it just makes them throw more strikes. I can’t tell what I am doing wrong because it seems like I’m right on every ball. I would give 1 star if not for minor league teams. Not to mention you have to watch ads every few outs. I would recommend not getting this game unless you’re up for a big challenge or just want to rage

If this game was not trying to get as much money as possible while playing, I probably would not have a problem with the gameplay. But, this game requires you to pay for all of the teams, different game lengths, and different season lengths, while also throwing an ad in your face after every half inning. I know that developers need to get money somehow, but it is just ridiculous how much game is behind a paywall. The gameplay is alright, but has major errors which make me want to throw my phone out the window. One of the most annoying issues is the ball tracking on the players. The infielders would rather hard their base than field the ball, while sometimes walking right past it to do so. The outfielders will go straight after the ball instead of trying to get a good angle (this is one is very hard to fix though). Another issue is pitching where the batters will never swing at balls outside the zone, no matter how good the pitch is. This is a very negative review, but I hope the devs can fix some of these.

The game is super awesome because of the franchise mode, something no other baseball mobile quite does as well. I like the game a lot but it feels like it has never been updated. The AI is some of the worst that I have seen the base runners especially it is usually fine but there are times where they turn back to go to the previous base even though they are almost at the base. Then thy get out for no reason. Also it feels like everything goes foul. If I am just off by a little bit it goes foul. Especially when I crush the ball too. I swear I have hit like 20 home runs in 5 games just to see them go foul. Also the pitching is a little too easy. Like the batters just won’t swing at all sometimes, it is weird. Also what is the point of having minors league teams if you don’t even use. As a major league team I can’t call anyone up from the minors. Whenever the draft happens the players just end up straight on the major league roster. I think that the fact that there is a franchise mode and the fact that it is not to hard to beat bad teams and very difficult to beat good ones is also a massive strength. The game could be improved so much just by making the AI not retarded. That being said the game has sky high potential, they just need to make it more realistic and clean to play. Especially if you are going to make us pay to get the full game.

This game has potential. It’s fun and has a unique dynasty mode. However, I don’t think whoever made it knows some of the rules of baseball. If a ball hits the first or third base, it is a fair ball, not foul. If runners are on base and a ball gets hit into the air in the outfield, the runners should be tagging up and running, not going halfway unless it’s on their side of the field. There are lots of small inconsistencies like runners running at different speeds at different times after a hit or when fielding a ball and pitches counting as balls vs strikes. The biggest inconsistency is the fact that when you hit a ball in the same spot on the ball marker, it’s not going to the same spot of the field. Sometimes it goes left or right, sometimes it’s a fly out or groundout, it’s just kind of luck. There should also be a different method to hit balls, as this one you need your thumb to be tapping the screen fast in order to hit, but you can’t see where the pitch is moving. There is also no getting hit by a pitch, even though I technically would have multiple times. Another thing is the practice pitches need to be strikes, especially when you’re supposed to be trying to hit a home run in 5 pitches, it becomes 2 pitches when the other 3 are terrible pitches.

I have enjoyed previous Pixamo releases that were less ambitious and a little more barebones. This intends to be a much more in-depth experience, with team ownership and gameplay mixed together. Very similar to Retro Bowl and Retro Goal, in that aspect. The game controls are unique and relatively intuitive, however they lack nuance and without a tutorial or in-game guide it can be frustrating. The ownership functions seem clunky and, frankly, unimportant. Also, I have discovered frustrating bugs during gameplay that are very confusing. Hit a triple? Great! Next hit, your runner starts from first base. It seems un-playtested and un-polished. Not obnoxious but borderline broken. Early Beta gameplay at best. If the devs continue to update and flesh the game out, it could easily contend as one of the best mobile sports games on PixelProBaseball store. It just needs more love and plenty of development.

Overall not a bad game, there are some aspects in need of major changes. For example base running is so awful, the user should be able to manually control the base running. There should also be a career mode if you are going to charge 5 bucks to get ride of the countless number of ads and the bonus features. This game has promise, however it still needs some work. Hopefully some positive changes can come in the near future !

After the update there are still plenty of things that need to change,l

1- every fielder is prime jeter, the outfielder’s get random speed boost, 1st and 3rd make ridiculous diving plays almost every game. There are almost no triples hit now, a one hop to the wall is now only a single? That makes 0 sense

2- when batting, I hit 80 percent fouls ball and it’s getting out of hand, I’ll be a little bit off of dead center and it bee lines left or right, that needs a rework bad

3- where is the customization and freedom in this game? Where is building your own stadium? Design jersey? Night games? In career mode I can’t request a trade for a team that lets up 10 runs every game? I can’t talk to the GM about making trades if I’m the star player?

Just listen to the reviews and make changes and this can be an all time game

This game is a lot of fun. One of the better mobile baseball games I’ve ever played. Paying for the full version is worth it- as it unlocks a variety of features that improve the experience such as longer seasons (20, 50, and 162 games) and customizable team names. It’s pretty cool that you can also play as minor league teams. The mechanics are perfect and easy to learn, and the difficulty levels are not too hard or too easy.

That being said, what holds this game back from being truly great is the bugs and AI. The game itself is not glitchy, however there are points where base runners will cross home plate, but the run will not be counted.

The largest issue this game has, however, is the AI defense. I’ve experienced countless brutal AI baseball IQ decisions, such as misplaying easy fly balls, bad base running, and pitching changes at weird times. It’s frustrating to not be able to control your own baserunners and miss out on scoring runs because of bad base running. Being able to control who advances would help a lot.

i really enjoy this game and play all the time, bought the full version the day of bc i knew id play a lot. but, this game needs a big rework to be as good as it can be. the contact is insanely inconsistent, playing on a harder difficulty is extremely frustrating bc i will make a near perfect swing which should likely be a home run but will end up being a foul ball or weak contact. also we need to work on our rule book, a diving play where the hitter reaches base is a hit even if it hits off his glove as well as if you hit a ball hard of the pitcher, all of those instances are scored hits in the MLB. lastly for the love of God can you please give the ai baserunners a working brain please. oh and when i’m doing practice and the hitting coach throws nothing but balls it makes me want to throw my phone across state borders

This game is very funny and It’s one of the best mobile games i’ve played. My main issue with the game is that the difference in difficulty from Medium to Pro is too extreme. Medium difficulty became pretty easy after playing a couple days so I decided to switch to pro. On pro the opposing team all become Amazonian warriors that can hit home runs on any pitch regardless if the pitch is good or not. They all run bases at light speed and it becomes near impossible to score because their defense will quickly sprint to any ball as long as it doesn’t hit the ground early or is a home run. It’s possible to win but even with all star players its hard to even make the playoffs. They should either add another difficulty or reduce the buffs the other team gets on pro.

So I love this game a lot and I love the new designated hitter mode that you added. I’ve been playing it nonstop but there are a couple things that can be fixed. First of all, I don’t know if it’s just me but in regular or medium difficulty it’s a little tough. My player is a 98.7 overall player and I find it a little too difficult to get a hit and I end up fouling a lot of balls. And then next thing you know you’ve fouled out three times in one game. Next, the coaches are a little too crazy in the sense that I will be threatening me to be out if the lineup because I don’t hit two home runs in 15 pitches while I’m still batting over .320 in games. Then half of the pitches are balls. But otherwise the game is amazing and I’m still having a lot of fun. Thanks for reading.

Great game love the graphics, batting, and pitching interface. However too many balls go foul to left field. Had three middle middle curveballs with center hits green timing. Two went foul to left field, third one was a home run. Same batter same pitcher. Double plays are almost nonexistent as the throw defaults to the shortstop so a throw from third to second for the first out gets interrupted because the short stop catches it. Had another situation where bases were loaded, get a base hit, runner from third crosses home plate as the runner from second is thrown out. This was with no outs so the run should have counted because the force play at third only makes the run not count if it’s the third out. Correct me if I’m wrong.

This game is absolutely worth playing and if you like baseball games or just sports games in general you should definitely give this game a try. let me start off with what I like about the game. The dynasty moan and storyline is very different from many sports game which help’s to make each save very different from another one. However as a non-baseball fan I find it very hard to play all nine endings of a game. I would like to be able to sit games and rebuild teams from the bottom to the top plus be able to jump in to whatever ending I feel. For example you sin the first 8 innings of the game then hop into the 9th down by one to win the game. Also a pitcher career just like batter career would be great and the ability to be any type we choose. This game would be a 5 star game however to be a 5 star game to me , a game has to be very good like a play for weeks to months in a row. Overall great game and if you make this changes it will be the best baseball mobile game ever if not best sports game ever.

I really like playing this game as it’s easy to pick up and put down when trying to kill time, however I wish that you could control the base runners to steal or advance, at least a steal option for your own player in DH mode would be nice. Additionally the computer base running itself needs improvement. I have 90+ rated players in base running constantly turning around to tag up when it was the most obvious gap hit and wouldn’t be caught. It seems like every 3 games a runner gets caught in a run down when they either should never have gone or should never have turned back to tag which resulted in them getting stuck in a run down. Please fix the base running and consider adding stealing/base running controls. That being staid still a fun game and would definitely recommend!

For a pixel arcade baseball simulator it is amazing!! Surprisingly addictive especially once you get the hang of it. My only issue is with the cpu intelligence, this is an actual stat in the game. I like the stat, it adds more to what type of player you have. The only issue is sometime the bots even with just decent intelligence won’t make the simple throw to first. They always try to make a double play but the bot throws it to the man in front of the 2nd baseman and it never makes it to him. Also the batters never tag up on deep fly balls, you can advance bases with a good deep hit even if it’s out. Lastly when batting there’s a lot of fouls and I get you can’t hit everything but I get a really good hitter right on the back and it’s foul. Besides this one really annoying thing the game is super fun and I’ve made 2 different seasons already!

This game is amazing and has SO much potential. I agree with everyone else about the tutorial. It doesn’t need that much either, just telling us we have to tap wherever the ball is when batting, and tap on the two lines when pitching.

Can we PLEASE get an option to skip past the foul balls/home runs? It gets kind of annoying when it seems like we’re watching 50 year olds run around the field and have to watch it the whole way through

Another thing to make this game even more great is a stat overhaul, which is basically half of baseball lol. It would be cool to see the stats when a batter comes up, and vice versa for the pitchers.

Also to anyone reading this before DL this game, you’ll have to buy the full version if you don’t want to play three innings games and like 7 game long seasons. Other than that, I highly recommend this if you’re into baseball games

I’m not going to give this game 3-4 stars and say change this or that and I’ll change my rating. This is a 5 star game no doubt about it. I really hope there’s more updates making this game more dynamic. I finished one season and I feel like I’m satisfied, I’m keeping it on my phone in case there’s future updates because like I said this has sooo much potential

It’s a pretty great great great game just there’s one thing that they could fix and it’s a good thing for the other team, but it’s not really good for us out there. I was watching this movie called Angels and the outfield and it was a pretty decent movie but then I was playing the game hit it out. Hit it out. Hit it out hit it out. I cannot get that out to stop like it was a really good game when I first played it if I actually could write a review then I would write it five stars but now, it’s a decent but they could fix how many out there are either than that. It’s a pretty pretty good game. I absolutely love this game, and highly recommend it. I’ve been playing for over a year and since one of the earliest versions, and have loved to watch this game grow better and better. Even though there is nothing I would take away, there are some things I would add. I’m going to start with the thing I want most, and that is a pitcher career. You’ve got the DH career which is great and all, and I’ve played many full seasons with my player, but I’ve been yearning to pitch in a career. I love the way you pitch in dynasty and I really think a pitcher career would make this game a lot more enjoyable to play for a long time and not get bored. As well as that, there are a few smaller things I would like to ask about as well. Such as, adding choice of the base runners as well as stealing being implemented. Sac flys, choice of throwing in dynasty, and a few others people have already asked about. But please please please add the career mode for pitching!!

I’ve been playing this game for about a year and I am still having fun with it. It’s just the right level of difficulty in my opinion. There is a learning curve but when you figure it out it can be very rewarding and still challenging. I would love to see an option to control base runners in the future because sometimes the players make dumb mistakes running the bases (it is kind of funny but a bit frustrating). I also hope they add tagging up because right now there is no way to hit a sacrifice fly ball. Controlling the defense would also be cool but I realize that might take away from the simplicity of the controls. Overall I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves baseball.

I had to review this again after the new update. Before I had it set at four stars, now this is definitely a five star game. I cannot recommend the full version more.

They seem to have addressed most of the main issues people had. Baserunners are a little smarter now, fielders can now dive and also behave more intelligently when fielding a ball. They’ve added a few stat things such as the distance popping up when you hit a home run. The new designated hitter mode is also a lot of fun. Parts of the story aspects could probably use some tweaking but I’m having fun with it. Honestly the game as a whole may be a bit more difficult now and I’m glad for it, there feels like there’s more challenge now. Great work by the developers, best baseball game in PixelProBaseball store right now.
