I’m not sure why Costco dedicated time to a podcast app instead of selling a discounted audible membership in store?

You still can’t do online ordering in CostcoAudiobooks or scan and go like Walmart. I would think this would be the logical next step after self checkout. Costco needs to do some soul searching on how to best serve customers… Target, Walmart, Sam’s club, and ALDI all do curbside pickup. Your executive team selfishly made people shop in store during COVID-19. Time to wake up and take care of members.

The main Costco app has a plethora of bugs… maybe circle back to that??

Costco Audio App - 1) Need to buy audiobooks in the Costco App. 2) New Account Welcome email eventually arrived with email login (specific to shipping address email in the Costco order) and my temporary password that I was soon prompted to change within the CostcoAudio App. It was not instantaneous from purchase. 3) Actually for me it took 9 minutes to wait for my initial account creation and login info to access my first purchase. 4) It took 12 minutes to get my 2nd purchase to be recognized in the Costco Audio App.

Purchased and downloaded a book. The file started to play as expected. I stopped the playback and closed CostcoAudiobooks . I then started drove off to a place with no internet connection, opened CostcoAudiobooks and they said my ‘session had expired’. I could not get past it and could not listen to the book offline. The creator seems to have missed a reason why some folks want to listen to audio books (while on a plane, on a boat, in the mountains, etc)

CostcoAudiobooks is CRAP! I kept getting and error on wrong login/pw. I changed my costco pw, which worked fine, deleted CostcoAudiobooks , reinstalled it etc., still wouldn't work. Customer service was automated, no help for the audiobooks in the there runaround recordings. I returned the books the books. I use audible, but liked Costco’s prices. I am very tech savvy, CostcoAudiobooks didn’t work on Iphone, ipads and 3 of my macs.

Unable to create account when opening app. App says a login credential will be emailed to you after your first purchase. How exactly am I supposed to accomplish this without being able to make a purchase? I can’t even log in. The login is also different than the regular Costco app or account. They didn’t think this through.

My issues began just trying to download CostcoAudiobooks itself. I used our Costco password and it didn’t recognize it, I thought I’d reset the password, but I never even got the email from Costco with the numbers I needed. After reading the reviews here, I think I’ll stop while I’m ahead and not even attempt to download CostcoAudiobooks period.

First I had to pay for CostcoAudiobooks just to download it. Then the books I ordered from Costco Audio won’t download. It keeps giving me an error message to try again later. I’d rather just pay for the audio books & listen to them from my free app Apple offers. Very disappointed.

I have the same problem as 4/1/21 person tho after 2 hrs of being shifted around they said they'd get back to me & recently they said they are working on this failure to function problem. I am dying to redeem my purchases but may cancel the order. This is a BIG problem.

Downloaded, tried to log in with only Costco user name and password I’ve ever used. Response said there was an error. Tapped forgot password link. Response said a password reset email would be sent. I deleted app after 15 minutes. Email never arrived.

- DOES NOT WORK OFFLINE even if you download the book. So no plane use, etc…. Come on product manager, you know better.

Would not let me even let me create an account. This must be some sort of joke on Costco.

Honestly disappointed. I can’t figure out how to work CostcoAudiobooks .

Have a kid that loves audiobooks. Thought this would be a wonderful gift. An hour with customer support later we still can’t log in with the link or the provided credentials or with a reset code. An absolute fail. Don’t do it.

So frustrating, app isn’t letting me sign in says add code, which NEVER gets sent to me, talked a whole hour to someone from Costco, they don’t seem to be able to help, waste of money and time😩

With enthusiasm I downloaded CostcoAudiobooks and brought 2 audiobooks. Not only did CostcoAudiobooks not work, it would not delete from my iPhone. Apple support could not help to get it off my phone, either - I had to reset and restore my iPhone. Costco customer support could not reset my password and forwarded me to findaway.com who, apparently CostcoAudiobooks owner. They reset my password after a day, and I went through the whole process again...no luck!

I deleted CostcoAudiobooks , and returned the 2 audio books to Costco for a refund. thanks to them!

My opinion: stay away from this application, stick with Kindle or Apple for your audiobooks - I know that is what I’m going to do.

You buy the audiobooks on Costco.com, then you get access to CostcoAudiobooks , but if the login they send you does not work, there is no help!
