Horrible customer service

I downloaded StepCounterGPSWalks in the hopes that it would deliver a good service as opposed to other walking apps. Just like you guys I did the trial period. However, I chose not to use StepCounterGPSWalks further than the trial period because I feel StepCounterGPSWalks is not worth the price. However, this company taken 86 dollars out of my account. I informed them that there must have been a mistake because I did not want StepCounterGPSWalks after the trial period and I would like a refund. I thought that I suspended StepCounterGPSWalks . I know this happens a lot and people forget. But it was an honest mistake. They said they cannot refund my money even if was a mistake. This just shows that they don’t care about delivering a excellent service. It’s more about the money. You can tell they did not put allot of effort into StepCounterGPSWalks . It’s overpriced in the hopes that you miss your trial period and they make money off of your mistakes. A real business would have more integrity and refund my money based off me not being satisfied with StepCounterGPSWalks and looked at it as a opportunity to improve. But, they don’t have any integrity and you guys will see it in StepCounterGPSWalks . It was built very fast to make money. It’s no good and not worth the price. Don’t let them fool you guys like they did me. 0 stars

Wish I could share my emails here…

I am currently trying to get my money back. Like many of you I have been scammed. Downloaded for trial. Literally doesn’t do anything my Fitbit doesn’t do. I was out trial week due to chronic migraines. Tried to cancel it was not under subscriptions like usual with other things, so didn’t know how to cancel. Second I got charged I messaged them immediately. Now it’s been about a week we have been messaging back and forth regarding this matter. They won’t give me refund bc it’s at there discretion. They have bold face lied in some of their messages, contradicting previous messages. Today they sent me a message that literally made no sense. They tried to tell me I downloaded it off the internet so it’s not an app!!!! When I showed they they are in StepCounterGPSWalks Store they responded with all these codes that supposedly meant I went on StepCounterGPSWalks and said well it shows here you used StepCounterGPSWalks . Like ya I opened it. These are greedy scummy individuals that do not have any ethics or empathy for ppl. Not to mention I would never pay 90$ for TWO months of probably any service. They offered me a year also. Like I just want my money back!!!!!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD. VERY MUCH A SCAM

Doesn’t count my treadmill walks

Seems like a good app but even when connected to the Health app is doesn’t include my indoor treadmill walks and details (HR etc). Maybe it can, but it wasn’t intuitive enough for me to figure it out. I wanted to like it, especially since I can log my water too, but it definitely is not worth $89 every 2 months. I cancelled after 2 days. In order to cancel, be sure to find the webpage to enter your email address from the account you signed up with, then click on the link of the TWO emails they send you to confirm the cancellation. Yes, 2(!) emails. I can see where someone could think they cancelled but didn’t go to the link again in the 2nd email that wants you to confirm it. Pretty confusing or just overly cautious?! but also kinda shady since it can result in an accidental charge. I saw the 2nd email and thought they just sent it to me again in error but went to it anyway. Good thing cuz THEN you get the confirmation email that you’ve unsubscribed. Hopefully this also ensures I don’t get charged on 7/26 when my trial period ends.

Honest Review 👇

I use it every day and gain the same degree of pleasure from using it that I did two plus months ago when I first began using it. I credit it to some extent in aiding me with my diet in the realm of activity every day. I have lost 10 pounds and my exercise is primarily walking in as much as I have a brace on my left leg from my knee to my toes. Thus walking is my best and trying to increase my miles each day is my challenge! StepCounterGPSWalks confirms my distance as well as maintaining record of it as well as my routes. I would certainly recommend it to all no matter what your level of exercise is."

SCAM!!!! First review highlights unsubscribing, red flag anyone?

$86 to track walking??! I want my money back immediately. You can’t even call to speak with anyone because they’re straight up robbing people. I tried to email customer service and they couldn’t even reply to me in complete sentences to tell me they were keeping my money. On top of that, they said they would give me a year free? So they can afford to offer me their useless service for free for a YEAR but they can’t give me my money back when I wasn’t even one day late to unsubscribing fully? That makes no sense. I tried to unsubscribe beforehand but they make you enter your email in separate locations after already clicking “unsubscribe” and they don’t make it obvious that you have to continue the process to full cancel. StepCounterGPSWalks literally went out of their way to highlight a review that said “seems easy to unsubscribe it seems” as the main review - does that not scream red flag? I can’t believe these people feel okay doing this.

Scam

This ads no value to your daily routine. The questionare is not specific and is not at all personalized. It tells you walk at a brisk pace for a certain amount of time, no indication of heart rate, effort ect. My personalized plan indicated I should walk less than I currently am.

In order to view any details of what the program provides, you must sign up for a free trial period. I signed up, viewed what StepCounterGPSWalks had to offer and immediately cancelled. I was sent an email confirming cancellation, within an hour of signing up. One week later I was charged $89 for 2 months of service. I emailed customer service, included email showing I cancelled within trial period, and cancelled again. Customer service refuses to refund because I cancelled a second time and that is the only email they will recognize. I have been back and forth and they refuse to even acknowledge the initial email sent confirming cancellation within the trial period. This is a complete scam.

Horrible Customer Service

Don’t get StepCounterGPSWalks. It makes no sense and is not worth the price at all. I am confident they make their money by charging the ridiculous 2 month rate of $86 after their trial period. If they had any confidence in their app, they would send a reminder about your trial period. Or guarantee your money back if not satisfied. I decided I wanted to cancel after setting up my app twice and then going in a third time and it asking me to do the whole set up again! It wouldn’t let me get to the account without setting it up again!! I TRIED TO CANCEL BEFORE THE TRIAL WAS OVER. Unfortunately I let my heart out with them to see if they’d have the humanity to return my money given COVID financial stress and they did not accept that. I work from home full time, with a one year old and another on the way. This ridiculous app has taken my money.

Good app for its price

StepCounterGPSWalks gives me the simple data I want in a clean, clear layout. Easy to use. Actually it offers more features than I usually use😂 The graphs make setting target goals easier and I like seeing my improvement - it motivates me to get those steps in. And all I have to do is keep my phone with me! Overall I find StepCounterGPSWalks to be a fun and easy way to motivate myself and track my progress, as well as enjoying the features like Indoor walking and GPR maps data. I've told my like-minded friends and family about StepCounterGPSWalks and they got really excited!"

CONARTIST!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY $86

This is a total scam! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS! They make the cancellation process so difficult. You would think as soon as you cancel through StepCounterGPSWalks it would be done but no you have to go to your email and confirm and if not you will be charged $86. When I explained to them I had canceled within the trial period but was unaware I had to them confirm via email they refused to listen and stated that I had canceled after the trial period, which I had but it was the second time doing so. The price doesn’t even make sense for what StepCounterGPSWalks is claiming to do. Had I even known it was be $86 I wouldn’t have even done the free trial. I wish I had read these other reviews before. I’m convinced these people are banking on the fact this exact situation will happen often and that’s how they are getting their money.

A Winner APP

I have used StepCounterGPSWalks for 1 month and during that time, I have become the healthiest I have been in 20 years. If you can measure it, you can change it. And once you see how your daily activity translates into steps, you will alter your activity to increase your steps: take the stairs, park far from your destination, know that to get to 10k steps 🚶‍♂️ is simply a series of 10-15 minute walks over the course of a day. Anyone can do it. You don’t need a gym membership, you don’t need diet pills - you just need to walk more and StepCounterGPSWalks is a great tool to get you there.

Scam

This company is a scam and scams people out of their hard earned money. My trial was set to expire on the 9th of the month and I requested a cancellation on the 8th. They charged me on tbe 8th and when I contacted them with proof they ignored me for weeks forcing me to file a claim with my bank. My bank denied my claim because they cancelled the subscription but they never issued my refund. I’ve been requesting a refund back for over a month and they are rude and unhelpful and won’t return my money even though they confirmed they cancelled the subscription and I have proof that because I filed a claim they wouldn’t refund me. I’m out $90 because of this company when I met my obligation to cancel before the trial end. Save yourself the money and time and get a free app or use the counter on your iPhone. This company won’t help you.

One of the best in the App Store!

I’ve tried almost every pedometer app or step counting app imaginable, even paid to have all of their premium in-app purchase features unlocked. By far StepCounterGPSWalks is the best of any I have used and it is extremely accurate, as long as you’re not forgetting your device when your going about your day! The programs suggested and their amazing blog is worth the amount for the premium, I wish I had found StepCounterGPSWalks and saved money waster on other less interactive and accurate apps of this type!

Tracks your steps throughout a day

I've tried many apps like this before and always end up deleting them after a few days. This is the first app that has actually kept me motivated and active. It's easy to use and tracks your steps throughout the day with a motivational reminder to keep moving. I love that it has a setting to remind you to do your daily workout as well as a timer for your workout. StepCounterGPSWalks also makes it easy to set goals and track your progress!

Disappointed twice

My card was misused to download StepCounterGPSWalks. I was charged $80+. I didn’t know anything about StepCounterGPSWalks until I saw the email notification days later saying I was charged. I contacted customer service immediately and explained the situation and how given the situation I needed a refund. They refused. Even after explaining I am an amputee on a fixed income and have no use for their step counting app, they Said StepCounterGPSWalks has been in use. When I first learned of StepCounterGPSWalks via my email I checked my downloaded apps. It said StepCounterGPSWalks was used for 3 mins. So for three minutes I was charged $80. I tutor at risk children. Yes I understand there’s a risk in my line work, but that doesn’t mean you get to take full advantage of that. The lack of understanding and compassion is truly disheartening.

Going Strong

Three things have kept me alive over the past 2 months I have gone through some personal struggles with health and my activity being mostly taken for me: 1. Family 2. Pets 3. Step counter by Galaxy Line. The latter has been a constant (10k steps every - I can’t remember when I took up the challenge). While my mom and dad, sisters, and extended relatives have been very helpful, my daily walking has been just as important to my health and well-being. StepCounterGPSWalks encouraging to me through the muck of it all. Thanks!"

Good App for First Time Users

CoronaVirus & being forced to be quarantined 🏠 made me start walking outside for exercise. I wanted a step counter that was easy to use & offered me other options also. This was so easy to use, it counts my steps, gives me a goal, does daily counts, weekly breakdowns & overall monthly stats. It set my goal step count for height & weight, which I can also adjust if I wanted to. It offers GPS routes, walking programs and even INDOOR ROUTINES!!!!!! This has been a very good app for me & recommend it highly.

Scam! Don’t fall for it!

StepCounterGPSWalks is not listed under your paid subscriptions. After I got charged $86, I canceled the subscription and clicked on StepCounterGPSWalks but it wouldn’t let me access it without paying again. It was now listed in my expired subscriptions, even though I was still charged for 2 months! Lookkng back, I also did not have access to it during the free trial so I assumed it was already canceled. I took screenshots and emailed them to customer service. I just got an automated response. I then filed a claim with paypal. The next day still no response from StepCounterGPSWalks so I called paypal and explained my situation. They said they were going to give StepCounterGPSWalks 10 days to respond to show proof that I had actually used it. The following day I got my refund!

Best step app ever! 👣

I always thought I was active in my daily activities. When my brother-in-law showed me StepCounterGPSWalks and I downloaded it, I found out just how wrong I was. I took under 4000 steps daily for first month! Thanks to Galaxy Line, I have changed my lifestyle and now take only steps in the office, walk extra at home, and try to insert time to walk every day. This month, I have increased my walking to 8k steps daily. I have also lost weight without having to change my eating habits. Thank you!"

Loved this app a lot

I love using StepCounterGPSWalks. It's so great to see my daily steps and I love that it shows the distance I've walked. It's also awesome to see that it counts stairs! I've been using it for months now and it has helped me lose weight and stay active. It's great for walking and I've also been using it to keep track of my runs. It's great that it's flexible and can be used for any activity. Overall, it's a great app and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get fit and stay active.

Canceled led trial still charged

When I downloaded StepCounterGPSWalks , I found it to not be user friendly. I canceled the trial and uninstalled StepCounterGPSWalks the very same day. I was charged the monthly recurring amount, and never would’ve known if my credit card company wasn’t so wonderful in alerting me of new or strange activity. Now, a worthless app that I didn’t even keep more than a few hours is causing more headache than it was ever worth.

By

Scam!!

I started trial....set my info into app and never used... never even opened StepCounterGPSWalks and was charged $86 for. 2 month subscription!! INSANE !! That’s way too much for an app!! I’m filing claim for a refund, let’s see how it goes.

Best helper

I started by making two very small walks a day after my blood pressure went up to 200 and my doctor asked me to loose weight. At that time 210 Lbs. (Female 5 ft 5 in). Always tired and with back pains. After about 2 week and taking care of my type 2 diabetes diet, I had lost 10 Lbs. I increased my walks to 0.5 a mile in the morning, and the same n the afternoon. My daughter (who practices yoga daily) suggested that I download the Galaxy Line app - this was two months ago. I consistently and continually increased the mileage ( now 2 miles in the morning and 2,5 in the afternoon). My blood pressure (w/some medication) is back to normal levels, so is my diabetes, weight (considering my age) - I have lost and maintain 55 Lbs. StepCounterGPSWalks keeps track that keep the pace. Thank you.

Excellent for Tracking Physical Activity

Downloaded StepCounterGPSWalks a few weeks ago and never bothered to turn it on or check it. With COVID-19 weight and sedentary lifestyle, I needed motivation even if it’s just walking around the house. I didn’t realize StepCounterGPSWalks was tracking my movement anyway. But what annoyed me is the fact that I’d moved more than StepCounterGPSWalks had recorded. I then realized it’s the fact that I didn’t always have my phone with me. So now, I either carry my phone in my hand or pocket when moving around. AND, I now make a conscious effort of meeting my goal of 10,000 steps...either walking in place while watching TV or walking around the house or walking while talking on the phone. StepCounterGPSWalks has been a wonderful motivation. LOVE IT!!!

Nice app with awesome design

I got StepCounterGPSWalks because I love to be outside, and I wanted to tell how far I was going. When I first got it, it was simple and so I decided to see how far I can really go. It turns out I was going 4 miles on a weekly basis! I decided to keep using it and now I go 10 miles twice a week. From the first day I have used it to every other day it has been my favorite app and I can’t wait to see what the future updates will bring. I HIGHLY recommend StepCounterGPSWalks even if you are not a walking addict! It can get you in the perfect shape so much easier than the other apps. I have tried even to see if there was a better app, but in my OPINION, this is the best. I highly recommend and thank the creators greatly!

Love How It Records Steps in Real-Time

StepCounterGPSWalks is so easy to use and I love the variety of programs. Plus the support is immense. You can be super involved or simply look at your steps each day-whatever you want! The best part is that it doesn’t take much - simply walking! Each of us is supposed to get 10k steps a day minimally and I know I need to do more. I am starting where I am at and just simply trying to improve each day and over time I hope to easily achieve the mark of 10k and still have energy to do more. I highly recommend it to anyone who is up for a bit of a challenge and wants to start getting in more steps each day. Simply brilliant!

An AWESOME Versatile Tool

My son suggested StepCounterGPSWalks to help me get over the loss of my puppy of 13 years. He said I needed to move and not mope. And I think he's right. I started walking Saturdey evening and continued yesterday, Sunday. I walked 3 miles yesterday and enjoyed looking at progress along the way. I could have quit anywhere along the way but StepCounterGPSWalks helped to push me to reach a goal. Today I will walk further and I hope to reach the goal of walking 5 miles eventually. I’ve been sedentary for a long time and today I got some comfortable sneakers and I’m looking forward to my next walk!

By

Just getting started

I really enjoyed my very early morning walk using StepCounterGPSWalks. While I do suffer from multiple back issues, I do keep an active lifestyle as much as I can. My overall attitude is also positive despite my chronic issues&pains. It’s apps like this that keep people like me from being sedentary which is so important in keeping the muscles and joints from “freezing” this causing increased pain and muscle spasms. You know, the less we move the more our joints hurt and the less we are actually capable of moving. StepCounterGPSWalks is so worth downloading.

By

Safety contact is the best feature

I downloaded Step Counter by Galaxyline, and am thrilled with how accurate it is, with my steps registering immediately. There are also a lot of great extra features. I particularly like how you can easily record a workout/GPS, and it will give you audio instructions so you can stay hands free. I’ve actually been doing a lot more walking since I’ve downloaded StepCounterGPSWalks since I enjoy using it, and I try to beat my previous step count each day. My dog benefits from my extra exercise! ??

This is love

I walk 10 miles a day or more usually. This has been my app of choice for almost a month. I tried every other the diameter and exercise app available but this is the only one that struck the perfect balance between easy user interface and providing all the statistics and all the support that I was looking for. I can keep track of all my statistics what is the most steps that I walk to the day most miles most calories burned how each day fits in also joining weight loss groups on StepCounterGPSWalks itself.

By

It is quite good

I have been a pedometer user for several years. Each year has been reliable and refreshing as I discover different helpful apps. Now I seem to finally have found the one I'll be using forever! It is calculating in the background the number of steps, miles, number of calories I burned and the duration of the walk. And it's great since I always run short of phone batary. Now I can monitored my walks more wisely.

By

Great App for tracking steps and other miscellaneous stats!

I have lost 13 pounds and all thanks goes to StepCounterGPSWalks! I love the features in StepCounterGPSWalks. Keeping track of the steps helps me to stay true to my goals. Likewise, the calorie tracker is very encouraging! Go at your own pace and increase your goals when ready. I will continue to keep moving forward no matter the setback. You do the same!
