App is a great idea, but if you’ve had both shots and the booster, it gives you an error message saying “too much time between doses,” apparently calculating the number of days between your first shot and the booster.

UPDATE: working properly as of November 10, 2021; app is longer confused by booster shot. Thanks!

Tried to use CommonPass before I travel but it was useless. I scanned the only vaccine with a barcode and CommonPass didn’t like it because it was missing others. How about an option where I can add all the data from my card and you can make it pretty with your barcodes. Thank you and ciao

It’s nothing extraordinary. It works as a way to show I’m Covid vaccinated that’s it. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles I wish it had, but personally being that it works is good enough for me

I’m impressed by CommonPass ’s ability to create a pass from my downloaded copy of my state’s webpage, but it is all but useless to me if I can’t put it in a wallet pass for easy access.

I also don’t see why a vaccination record only lasts one month either. I understand why a test result would expire, but not a vaccination pass.

All of the vaccination needs to be under one QR code-won’t create a pass if you got your booster elsewhere besides the place that created the QR for your main vax series, even if it has a separate QR.

Follow the instructions and you will have no issues. I walked my brother trough the steps on the phone, I did my own and my husbands. Just follow the instructions!

My wife made the mistake of using CommonPass to book a test with Quest diagnostics, which was de-listed as an approved COVID test provider in 2020. CommonPass has not been updated with this in 2021, and it is pretty clear that little to no effort is made to keep CommonPass useful. We will still get to Hawaii, just a few days later than planned, but want to warn others to stay away from CommonPass.

In Hawaii I needed to show my vaccination record for eating inside restaurants. This was easier than getting the card out every time.

CommonPass says it can’t issue a pass because of the amount of time between my shots. Well, it is looking at the booster shot I just received, not my first and second shots, which were at the exact recommended intervals.

So the product fails on providing vaccine certification if you get a booster. Terrible lack of accommodation for real-world situations.

Doesn’t recognize “boosters”, of which I have had two as of today.

Using this for Vaccine Record only.

The setup process was error free. But would invite the developers to add ability to allow this to be added into Apple iPhone wallet.

I found it very easy to use with my California digital vaccine record. Gets an A+ from me

Washington does not provide smart health card QR code’s. I got my covid vaccinations from Walgreens which CommonPass doesn’t recognize. I planned to use this for travel to-from Hawaii. Hopefully Washington will come on board with smart health cards (doubtful) or these apps will recognize more than six purveyors of the vaccine.

CommonPass is showing my COVID Vaccine record (shot received at Walmart) but it would be WAY better if there was an option to add it to my Apple Wallet for easier access.

On my iPhone 13 Pro, with iOS 15, it just crashes as soon as I open it. Last time I looked, on my old phone, it seemed fine.

I assume the problem is that CommonPass is just too new. However, it only listed one lab, and not the lab I went to for testing. In other words, worthless to making my flights easier. Hopefully it will improve over time.

You can’t use CommonPass. I got my vaccination for Covid through a Government facility. They don’t know anything about CommonPass. I have a paper vaccination card, but not CommonPass version. The Government Agencies won’t release any data on CommonPass. What’s the point of having CommonPass then? Ridiculous.

I think CommonPass is a great idea but I cannot get it to show my booster. It only shows the first 2 does, but my smart health card qr clearly shows 3.

I got CommonPass to keep a record of vaccinations. Because I received the third dose I get a message saying that there was not enough time between doses.
Ridiculous.
CommonPass is meant to do one thing and it fails at that.
Deleting it now

My State of California Digital Vaccination Record does not include an expiration date, so why is my pass only valid for a limited period of time? Please update CommonPass to include support for Apple Wallet.

Turns out the 6digit code is not emailed to you. You have to find it on the Vault website underneath your partnering airline (United is a partner). It is unique to each airline and destination. They certainly don’t make this easy to figure out. But it worked once I found it. Now let’s see if this pass makes travel any easier 🤞

Terrific concept but doesn’t address how the majority of U.S. citizens’ can use or input their paper “cards” as there are no QR codes on them. Therefore useless to us until more providers sign on with this outfit.

I have to assume this works with uploading QR code’s because it certainly doesn’t work trying to upload a PDF of your vaccination card from your photos. Garbage app. Don’t waste your time or storage space.

CommonPass does not work (yet?). It asks you for a 6 digit pin, supposedly sent via email, yet no such email ever arrives. Secondly, CommonPass is supposed to call up your test result from your testing site. Really? Which of the myriad testing sites and labs will be in this network? I see Centogene is listed. Fine if you live in Germany and test at Frankfurt airport. What if you test at your local emergency care facility? There’s lots of work to do here. This needs one system that works internationally , not just for a segment of users and testing labs that happen to be in this network. How do I know that the labs at my international destination will be within this particular network? Coordinate!

To speed up Covid-related travel formalities is a great idea, in theory, but CommonPass doesn’t work today. Testing facilities do not seem to know how to make results available to CommonPass . Also, this only shows negative status for 14 days. Although it promises to “ enable people to pull test and vaccination records onto their mobile device”, there is no mechanism to add vaccination status.

this app by the The Commons Project Foundation represents an important advancement in global health data interoperability, individual control of health data, and privacy and security. this app verifiable credentials for diagnostic testing and vaccination will be available digitally and as paper with machine readable information.

CommonPass will be perfect in efforts to return to normalcy. Very easy to use, simple and straightforward instructions. I’m excited to use this fantastic technology to get back to traveling.

Sorry, but I have to agree with those who gave this a low rating. It does work on the most basic level. Didn’t send me an email. Won’t coordinate with my testing facility. They should put this back in development until it’s ready.
