Follow these steps to resolve intermittent LunaTuna app issues:

Force Stop the LunaTuna App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click LunaTuna app. » click "Force Stop".

Update LunaTuna to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear LunaTuna App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "LunaTuna app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch LunaTuna.

Fix LunaTuna unable to contact server/ LunaTuna internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click LunaTuna » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got LunaTuna » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)

About this app

The tuner works in landscape and portrait, iPhone and iPad! A precise chromatic guitar tuner that is easy to use! Hold the mic close to the source if it is silent like an unplugged electric guitar. Note that on iPad the mic is not at the bottom where the speakers are - it is at the top! Just make the two dots overlap and you are good to go! As a bonus you can change the base frequency for the tuning from 440Hz to something else, if it fits your voice or instrument better.
