This is what a Mac native outliner/notetaker would be expected to be. Relatively early in development, but even now Zavala is a lot better than the more famous alternatives. And you can figure it out in a few minutes.
iCloud sync and a fully compatible iOS version? Imbedded graphics, linking and backlinking of outline/notes, rich text without Markdown markup in the way, but exportable to Markdown? Global search and search and replace via shortcuts? And the developer is responsive? Hard to believe, but this is the real deal.

very good, native, quick to open, no loading times, fast to use, simple by design, i am in love with it. i've tried many tools out there by workflowy to craft to bear to upnote and so on. but the one they they lack si simplicity. after you use those tools for so long, you realize all you really need is simplicility in your life and this app is that
