Our building’s washing machine has been out of service for months and apparently this app cannot get anyone to fix it. We only hear that they “are attempting to schedule repairs”. This service is 3x as expensive as the prior coin operated service, and it is far far worse.

Unnecessary and stupid. Let me use cash

This is the most effective way to waste time in your day! The machines are barely functional. They give you the appearance of choices, but everything is going to be hot. Your washes? Hottest water possible! The driers? Hottest setting imaginable. Don’t worry about pressing the silly little buttons, they don’t do anything! Neither does “locking” your machine via Tumble . Machines are not kept up in any capacity with many of them having rust in them mere months after installation. The guy on the chat was nice and refunded me for my clothes sitting in rusted water in a broken machine for thirty minutes while Tumble counted down the time on my wash as if the machine was still working. Currently only one of four washers in the laundry room at my complex are working and this is the second time in a month that they have been here purely as decoration.

I was a big fan but it’s barely usable now. The service uses independent contractors to wash your clothes and it’s obvious that there are far more people in San Francisco that need their clothes washed than there are, as they call them, “laundry pros.” I’ve waited hours for a laundry pro to become available, only to contact the chat on Tumble and be told “try again tomorrow.” The DoorDash part is a bit of a mess too, as the drivers think they’re picking up food only to be confused about how to get into some random apartment building and then handed a large bag of laundry. I’ve been contacted by DoorDash drivers many times trying to get information from me that I certainly can’t give them as I have no idea where my laundry is being done. And it can take a really long time for the drivers to show up… I’m not sure why. I think they’re just confused. It used to be convenient but now I have to budget a big part of my day and work it around when and if I can get my laundry done.

So many issues with this service/app, I’m often unable to start machines despite paying. If your building uses this service run.

My building switched to this company a while ago and they are the worst. The machines only work via app and Tumble is finicky and can take up to five minutes to scan. Machines break frequently, and whenever you reach out to customer service they say they’ll send someone out, but never do. We have a dryer that’s been broken for over two months and I’ve reached out to them at least 10 times to no avail. Also, the dryers don’t get hot enough/don’t have enough time on them and your clothes are never fully dried. This has also been reported and they claim they’ll fix it, but never do. I honestly wonder if I’m talking to a bot every time I contact customer service.

App never tells you if machines are working . They may or may not return your money. I’ve wasted so much time in the past 2 months.

If you got one of the flyers in the mail just throw it away. Service literally does not work. They claim it’s a 4 hour turnaround time once you place an order but it’s really “4 hours after it is picked up by the drivers” which can take 2 hours. That is a direct quote from the Chief Support Officer or AI bot. Tumble tells you the driver picked up your clothes when they really haven’t and then when the driver calls you 2 hours later they have no idea where you are and ask for your address. I don’t know how this company is in business.

It’s so bad!!!! I miss the quarters

Why the foik do I need a APP to do my LAUNDRY?? What is this technocratic hellscape? And not only that, but Tumble rarely works

Now I updated it and it lost all my information and won’t let me log in again. I’M RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF DOING LAUNDRY!!

This seems to be a new app that is still working out its flaws. I was locked out of Tumble and there seems to be no way to reset your passcode. Maybe there is, but I attempted to speak to their support staff and was never given an answer on how to reset my passcode. For the moment I will have to find other ways to do my laundry! :(

Their dryers have also ruined multiple pieces of clothing and I know it’s from the dryers because the print of the metal whatever it is inside the dryer matches the print on the part of the ruining clothing! Half the time the dryers don’t work because it is “offline” and can’t connect to Tumble , and the “customer service” takes so long to reply/fix the issue that I have to leave and come back to presume my laundry. Horrible horrible service.

The machines on the first floor of a three story apartment complex don’t work while the machines on other floor do. Although pleasant customer support provides no answer on whom I can contact to discuss the problem and obtain an activation timeline

1. Tumble doesn't keep the user logged in. 2. Cycle ready notifications are not working. 3. Would be nice to favorite the home address or make it default and not look for it every time in the list of properties that will only get longer. 4. There should be a profile editor so that the user can edit name, profile pic, security settings etc.

App is good service is terrible

When it works….its good. BUT…I had a problem with Tumble and now I can’t get back in. And so cannot reach support, cannot get refund, cannot communicate with anyone. Tried resolving by resetting and that’s not working either. Really frustrating. Not enough options for problem resolution.

Please fix the notifications for laundry complete so that they make a sound.
Also add a dark mode for Tumble . Thx.

2 things I think would improve the user experience:

•Notifications when a cycle is complete.

•Since I live in a different building than our laundry room, it would be great to see on Tumble if machines are available before I head over.

I’m actually happy with this service, it’s a significant upgrade over using quarters. There’s also an on demand wash and fold component which is pretty incredible, comes out to slightly over $1 per pound. Clothes come back washed and folded in like 3 hours, feels like using Uber or DoorDash. this app is on to something and they keep improving it and adding new stuff

I have used the laundry pick-up service on Tumble twice now and I can’t tell you how convenient this service is. The pick-up and delivery is managed through DoorDash, so it’s a similar process to how food is delivered. The driver shows up at my door, I hand them the laundry bag, and in a few hours, I get delivered clean and folded laundry! I have a washer and dryer, so this is something I have used for when I just didn’t have the time to do laundry on my own. Really convenient service! I would recommend 100% for those on the go and/or just don’t have the time to mess with laundry. The service is convenient and quick.

Using it since last week, it works as it says ​‍     

Though I’ve had some issues with the machine eating my money and not starting, what keeps me very happy with Tumble is the amazing customer service! They are truly working hard to respond as quickly as they can and help with any refunds and even starting the machine from afar when there are issues with locally starting the machine. I am constantly impressed and thankful for the solid customer service experience I had. Shoutout to yall!! ✨🙏🏼

I work in property management and I’ve been dealing with useless shared laundry providers for way too long. I tried this app because…..it felt like I had to. And can I say, WOW! Tumble is amazing. The customer support is amazing. The technology is amazing. If I could give them 12 stars I would.

I hate doing laundry and Tumble really saved my life. Has made my laundry days so much smoother.

When I discovered Tumble, I felt the joy usually reserved for the Lexus December to Remember Sales Event. Truly the sausage roll of apps

this app was very responsive with picking up my clothes and got it back to me the same day within a few hours. Was a super easy process and they were really responsive. Was super convenient and I’ll definitely use them again.

Finally an end to coin operated laundry. Tumble and company are the best!

Tumble has made doing laundry so easy. Aside from easily paying for a load in Tumble the best part is the fact that I can keep the dryer locked if my load is done but I can’t unload yet. Stops the hassle of people stealing my clothes or just removing my stuff from the dryer.
