MyVTechBabyPro takes forever to open. It either A: has the sound turned completely off so you don’t hear anything at all, or B: has the sound at maximum volume immediately so you end up scrambling to turn it down.

But the biggest problem is it’s ability to actually work at all. MyVTechBabyPro goes down more than any other I’ve ever had, bar none. I mean absolutely constantly. And there’s no rhyme or reason to it, it may work on one phone three feet away and not on yours. It may work one minute and be down the next. And don’t go hoping for answers on their Twitter page or anything, they’ll just respond to every complaint with “we checked, it was a brief outage, DM us if it still doesn’t work.”

Look, I know this isn’t some fancy, top of the line camera system, but it’s still a decent chunk of change, you’d expect for its primary use, some, or even ANY effort would be made into creating a functional app that actually allows you to monitor your child. Nope. Not even a little. The reviews are accurate, anger and frustration at not being able to utilize the monitor aside, this is still the worst app I’ve ever had to download.

I love my VTech monitor and the monitor screen that it comes with. The picture is so clear and the sound quality is great. I hate MyVTechBabyPro !! It’s always crashing, freezing, or logging me out. Every time I get logged out it won’t let me log back in until I delete and re-download MyVTechBabyPro . Please fix your buggy app.

Just like it’s predecessor, MyVTechBabyPro is still the worst. Can’t sign in, or can’t connect, or can’t reset password, or just won’t load, or doesn’t recognize your login even though it’s been the same since you bought the monitor.

Keeps logging me off. I reset password and it doesn’t recognize it. And there’s not an easy way to report issues. Go’s to a website that asks for the model number for troubleshooting. I’m guessing that number is on the actual camera that’s mounted to our wall. I’ll have to check tomorrow when our baby is awake

MyVTechBabyPro is usually great. But when it updates, it makes me log out and then I can’t get back in. When I try to change my password, it tells me my email isn’t linked to an account-which it is!! Super frustrating. How do I fix this issue? I don’t want to have to change my password all the time.

Camera itself works great with parent unit provided by the service of watching and controlling from MyVTechBabyPro is seriously lacking. Don't get this product for the Idea of being able to watch from anywhere when it doesn't even connect when I am still in my own home. No peace of mind or security comes with MyVTechBabyPro.

Completely useless since the recent update. The camera is stuck on a loading screen for several minutes before telling me that I have no internet connection. Funny I was able to use Google and social media recently but this ap thinks I have no internet. Hot garbage. Waste of space on my phone. I’m super mad that this is the baby monitor I’m stuck with.

This thing has been nothing but a headache for a while. It barely connects with the camera and the screen. If you want to steam on your phone forget it. Your better off getting two cans and some string. Glitchy ,battery life is horrible, always updating and every time it does it works worse than previously. Save your money and buy something else

I‘ve had this for less than a year and it’s already giving problems. 1st I see the baby now through the phone app since the monitor doesn’t work and the image is slow , 2nd The image freezes and if my baby doesn’t cry I wouldn’t know she is awake since the image froze & I couldn’t tell she was awake. Now it’s having connections problems says my wifi is not connected. Ughhhhh

This has to be the absolute worst baby monitor on the market. Stops connection constantly. Logs me out of the mobile app and says I “do not have an account” when I try to log in or reset my password.
Absolute joke of a product and software for this’ll thing.
Do yourself a favor and hire a giraffe to watch your child and teach it to bark like a dog when the baby cries. Better chance than using this monitor to assure you.

One of the reasons that I bought this monitor was because it has an all where I can view the monitor from anywhere. When MyVTechBabyPro actually works it’s great! But it seems to not work often when it’s updated. I am unable to login to MyVTechBabyPro now which is very frustrating. Please fix this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it and it still doesn’t work. It would be nice to actually use the feature that sold us on the Vtech monitor.

I’ve experienced nothing but headaches and frustration with not only MyVTechBabyPro and product but also with customer service. The answer always seems to be to “check my wifi” when the vtech app and device are the only items not working in my home. MyVTechBabyPro constantly logs me out and then says my credentials are incorrect only to finally log me back in days later. I’m officially tossing this garbage and buying another brand. Avoid at all costs!!

If I could rate this less than 1 star I would. We have these cameras throughout our house in order to check on the kids in different rooms as well as see the entrance area to the house. The cameras never seem to connect upon opening MyVTechBabyPro , when it does it is only 1 or 2 of them. The notification for sound in a baby’s room is hit or miss. All around it is very clear that there is no thought whatsoever into the continued bug fixes and maintenance on MyVTechBabyPro. If you are looking for a convenient baby monitor with an intuitive and responsive app look elsewhere.

The cameras and parent unit have worked well for us however the actual app to view the monitor through your phone has constant glitches. It will log me out of my account and not let me log back in or just freeze on the login screen. I’ve contacted v tech about this issue twice now.

Can no longer watch back recordings made through the day. Keep getting an error about file not being able to be located or verified.

When MyVTechBabyPro works it’s great but the majority of the time it says it’s offline, when it’s not.

The camera and parent unit are very handy and high quality, but the mobile app has connectivity issues, has a pretty significant notification and video streaming delay, and does not have a dark appearance, which would be nice for when you’re not trying to go blind checking on your kid in the middle of the night. It’s way better than the legacy app, though- not even sure why that thing is still in MyVTechBabyPro Store. One thing that would be REALLY nice is if MyVTechBabyPro supported Picture in Picture, especially since it boasts continuous video monitoring. I would like to be able to do other things while still having the video on screen. Make these improvements and I’ll give you four stars! 😜

My phone will not let me log back in because i missed the verification process from back in november of 2021. but even then it won’t let me make a new account at all. what can i do to get this rolling ? is it something on your end ?

Prior to update, app was awful and struggled to connect to camera. However after the latest software update MyVTechBabyPro has been working flawlessly. Connects to camera every time. So glad they fixed the bugs.

Were having a bit of connectivity issues; it seems to be better now, hope it stays.
