The UI is very clean. The design of Alaap is very simple and minimalist. Still there are some bugs. Hopefully, they will solve those problems in the next update. There are some very helpful features like call recording, burn message (disappearing message), schedule send etc. Thumbs up for BTCL.

Alaap is running very good. It provides cheapest call facilities with premium quality. But it takes permission in photos. That’s why, I am worried about my privacy issues.

In ‘Contacts’ menu there is a search feature named ‘this app Directory search’. Searching a name of any person ends of with a lot other contacts with the same/ similar name including their phone numbers.

I am guessing, they have built this directory from the other this app users, as they have already gave permission to access their Contacts.

This is a severe breach of privacy and need immediate rectification.

I’m the second one who download Alaap. But having some issues while video calling through Alaap. There are some bug issues. But overall very good app. Thanks to BTCL

Call forwarding feature doesn’t work.

Alaap has not declared that it can be trusted. As it’s a government run company I am concerned about my privacy and data being leaked to government. Also it asked for permission to my photos. Why you need photos? I am concerned about calls being monitored by government agencies. By the way Alaap was good. It’s just privacy that I’m worried about.

It collapses time and again. Need to login several times. While typing number it goes off several times. The NID registration part should have photo/image uplooading option from the gallery to make it more convenient. It's a good move from them. All the best.

It was thinking that money will keep in my country. All others sim operators are developing their business in our country came from others country. This is our government's apps and money will go in our governments pocket. But they all are thieves as like others government thief. Just hate the country system.

First thing is the call rate. The call rate is too high compared to the mobile operators. Why should I use IP phone if the call rate is not reasonable? The network/call quality is also very bad. Can’t hear anything. Alaap is not working now after the last app update in iPhone 7 ios 14.6.

Some bugs problem face sometime.. so improve call quality

The latest update is full of bug...app crushing...not opening...still problem exists on 2.0.9

The sound quality is not good while talking with someone over phone conversation. I do expect the sound quality should be better, loud and clarity in the future.

Can’t recharge from bekash after last update its crash every time

Clean interface, call rate should be per second. After 35 second call charge showing 1 tk.

Works just the way advertised.

Call cost low. But app size big.

For the last 2/3 days whenever I have tried to make a call, it shows- “All Channels are busy now”. Please call again after sometime. It is worth zero if I can not make a call.

When use wi fi voice quality very bad.

For first impression i was thinking, this is the best app for low cost (0.30) calling in any local number, but i was wrong, from now it’s super expensive. 0.40 taka per minute + internet cost extra.

IPhone users can only invite iPhone users

Could verify mail,couldn’t make a single call , even couldn’t recharge. Horrible app full of bugs. Below one star

After click on that apps it crash in 1 seconds. It doesn’t work properly.

Desh er govt. prthom app jeta use kore kom tk te kotha bola jacche. Vat tax diye 34 poisa pore per mins.
