BlockGains Crypto Portfolio Reviews

Have been using BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio to track every Bitcoin and ether purchase I have made over the last couple months. App seems to work great and I love the news articles tab, get more info here than on the internet. My one downside to BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio is that my gains show up as losses (red) and my losses show up as gains (green) hope they can fix this in the future, also would love to see them add a landscape mode you can apply. Other than my complaints and issues it’s a great, easy crypto tracker.

Nicely done. Looks like the developer really put a lot of effort into making solid app and no data collection is a bonus! The exchange data, news, PINs, and dark mode are a nice touches. Well done.

No landscape mode hurts is usability and I really hope it is added in a future version. I really want to use this on my tablet, but not having a tablet version makes it a little more difficult given the lower resolutions for larger screens.

Otherwise, I like what I see and recommend it!

There are a couple aspects I love about BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio, and some notes on areas for improvements.
I understand there is a version 2 coming ou, so that’s fairly exciting.

The main problem with BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio is its challenging to integrate an existing portfolio.
There is not functionality to add amount of coins and total cost that was originally spent.
Right now there is only the ability to add coin transactions and you have to manually calculate per coin costs.
To clarify if you bought 2 coins for $60, you would have to specify $30 in BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio . This is incredibly annoying.
I strongly disagree with the developers when they say that this functionality exists.
I like the professional response from the developers, which shows they are likely to become a great platform.

I’m so used to binance ui’s swapping where the top coin is exchanged for the bottom coin, that when I first began setting up my portfolio with past purchases, it was a bit confusing to adjust to this ui.

I think it’d be easier if the “exchange coin” were labeled so we know what is being purchased for what. I.e. From x coin To x coin

I understand not all ui’s are the same so some labeling would make this easier to use.

BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio was suggested to me by Viva La Coin and it’s really helpful how it keeps you focused on planning an Exit and keeping track of your profits. The main criticism is that you cannot select fiat as the trading pair. I bought my crypto with dollars so I had no choice but select USDT. Also there’s no option to calculate fees paid. Other than these two things I quite like the UX and I’m gonna switch from Blockfolio. I’d say try BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio for sure.

I’m fairly new to the crypto markets and this application is really helping me keep track of my crypto across multiple platforms. As BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio is such a new build I can’t complain to much... 5 stars from me it’s very useful in its current form with that said the lack of a full blown settings menu is bugging me but I know you guys got it under control. I know more features are coming down the pipeline. Great job.

Hope the devs read. Good promise, needs bug fixes. Sometimes when adding transactions to portfolio nothing appears after hitting submit. Entered a lot of transactions to my portfolio which took a lot of time. All seemed well. 12 hours later, 20 transactions disappeared while a few stayed in my portfolios . That’s was a lot of time spent to input and because of that, I will not be using due to not knowing if it will error again. Nice clean app though. Once bugs ironed out should make for a nice tracker app with average cost per coin tracking.

I really do love the look and feel of BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio, and it’s premise..if only I can figure out a couple of things not mentioned in the tutorial. I’ve reached out to support twice but no reply ☹️ I really want to give this the 5 stars it deserves

As an early adopter, I was super stoked on BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio since I really do support the creator and creative team. However, once an update lost 90% of the data I had to manually input, I decided BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio wasn’t for me. I fear these things could happen again, so I urge you to wait til they’ve ironed out all the kinks and introduce wallet importing. It’s a good idea, but with the inability to do that, and many coins that are becoming popular not available to input, just doesn’t seem entirely viable at the moment.

I almost love BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio and love the guy behind it but, so far, it lacks almost all of the coins in my portfolio. Based on that, I'm guessing it also lacks many other alt coins. I tried to enter MPH, AVAX, and API3 into my portfolio and it came up empty on all three. This would be a 5-star review if it wasn't for missing many alt coins.

This is looking great for a just launched portfolio tracker and trade planner. It has one of the cleanest coin lists out there and it’s nice to have the market cap visible too. Hoping we get user customizable alerts and then this will replace my other apps.

I like BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio and recognize it is free to the public and I appreciate that. That said the UI needs more refinement and a chart engine that provides useful data. The ticker data stream also freezes often and requires the closing/reopening of BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio to get the data flowing again.

Would be better if you added a total profit/loss in each portfolio. Should be super easy to implement and I would love to see it.

Fairly new to Crypto but getting everything I need from BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio! Thank you for putting this together and thank you for all of the videos you put out.

Love BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio. The look is clean and attractive. I feel the crypto prices are in the second current, the most accurate over the other portfolios I have used. I love it!

BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio is great I started in putting my coins in. Then after an hour I realize there is no way to save your work. If there is please tell me because I can’t find it. That would be a lot of wasted time to keep working for hours.

suggestion: add search button to find coin easier in portfolio. easier way to find transactions. fix price entry area if buying sun penny value coin. it comes up as zero in assets. as well as add an area to enter fees for better accuracy. Dan you are the best! go ada!

BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio is new and great. It entails all the necessary data to track your investment, marking favorites and following them is a great way to monitor crypto currency!

I like BlockGainsCryptoPortfolio , but for some reason I’m currently unable to see my Solana transactions. I can access them for all the other cryptos I have added, but Solana is just a gray screen. Hope this gets fixed.
