Loved for years-hate it now

Looking for a new app that doesn’t require a stupid PIN 45 times a day! My iPhone has a lock already. I take so many Med doses and supplements frequently that this required PIN is a nuisance! It also was easier when I could mark off four doses, for instance, with one swipe on the one notification on the front page. Now I have to go to the second page to mark individually. I have my meds organized here so that bottles go back in their place as I take them, so the one swipe per notice was easy. The worst part is that I repeatedly get

notice that WalmartWellness can’t communicate with Walmart Wellness—try again later. By that point, I have wasted so much effort from the PIN and other things that I want to scream. This is okay for people who take few meds a few times a day, but with eye drops, supplements, special foods, and many meds which have to be spaced precisely, it’s annoying. Then there’s the discovery the next morning that my night prn meds and the scheduled items after 7pm were not saved after all! Sheesh. Some things just aren’t worth this aggravation.

All this came with the 2.0 update. ☹️

A must have

WalmartWellness is perfect for keeping up with the names and dosages of all your medication as well as when you need to take them. It even has revealed reminders in advance so you don’t run out. You’re also able to track many other things such as blood pressure blood sugar just to name a few. It has a section for notes that you can add on a daily basis if needed and it has a calendar you can enter events on that so you don’t forget upcoming appointments. I would strongly recommend for anyone with major health issues that require a lot of medication’s to keep up with. You no longer have to write your medication‘s down as WalmartWellness will keep up with them for you in a list form that is printable. I have been using for years.

Notifications don’t always work

The main point of my downloading WalmartWellness was to use daily reminders for taking my pills, which should be taken at roughly the same time every day. However, even having set the notifications for every day at the same time, it’s completely random as to whether or not I actually get notified, so many times I’m scrambling to take my pill several hours late, or I forget it all together. The profile is set up great, it allows you to store loads of information that’s easy to access and share — but it completely and utterly fails at what for me should be THE most important function. If that worked, this would be a perfect app. (I have my phone notifications on, and WalmartWellness has permission to notify me; but some days I get the reminder and others I don’t, and there’s no pattern one way or the other.)

Won’t work unless you enter payment information

I’ve been using the “Walmart pharmacy “ app for several years with NO problems. Then they decided to “improve “ it. Now I can’t order a refill without putting in payment information (which won’t work as I’ve tapped it multiple times and nothing happens). I don’t want to enter payment information. I always pay cash. What happens is I end up having to call the store and order it over the phone which renders the wellness app completely useless. Fix it so i can refill my scripts without entering payment info!

Add to this the fact that there is absolutely no way to contact the developer other than writing a review. I’ve called 1-800-walmart as instructed by the pharmacy and customer service says they have nothing to do with WalmartWellness .

So i am back to phoning the pharmacy and taking up the pharmacist’s time with something that could be handled much easier, and has been working until recently.

Excellent support!

Anne is an excellent customer care rep who is wonderfully adept at answering questions. We started using WalmartWellness when it was Carezone and found there was nothing we wanted that it couldn’t do to support our caregiving efforts across 3 time zones. I don’t like having to now create a Walmart account just to use WalmartWellness and I don’t like not being able to delete individuals for whom I’ve shared a profile, nor do I like not being able to access it without a mobile device but all the other functionality is top notch and greatly appreciated.

Thank goodness someone created this app

I have explored over 30 different apps for caregivers. We have multiple family members rotating to care for my grandmother. We needed a central location where multiple ppl can manage and monitor care, including: vitals, medications, appts, contacts, prior surgeries, vaccines, conditions, daily updates and continuity of care notes. Several apps had some but not all of that functionality and the user interfaces were all over the place. WalmartWellness has ALL of that functionality (and more!), is super user friendly for all levels of tech abilities AND it’s free! This has been an absolute game changer for our family. Thank you so much!!

Never asked for payment info but charged my credit card instead of HSA?!

I was forced by the “Walmart app” to download WalmartWellness for refilling my prescriptions. When I went to pick them up, they said they had been put on my Discover card. It took forever for them to refund my charge and then put it on my HSA. In the meantime I searched WalmartWellness for anywhere to change/add my payment info. It is nowhere to be found. I will not refill thru WalmartWellness until I can be assured they allow me to remove my discover payment info! I do not want this hassle every time I refill (refund discover then charge HSA). Please let me know how to remove my discover payment info from WalmartWellness -I have literally looked in every drop down, clicked every option in WalmartWellness -cannot find it anywhere. Pathetic (and slightly scary) that an app has access to payment info that I never even authorized.

Another app???

Just what I needed, another dysfunctional app attempting to collect COVID info from me instead of just doing what I need it to do!! For the love of God why can’t I just simply request a refill of something anymore??? Apps were supposed to be designed for ease, not invasion of privacy! I can’t just request a RX info anymore without entering all of my credit card info and I can’t remove old card information so this is useless. Back to calling in my refills….not helpful Walmart! I’ve already stopped doing most of my shopping at your stores because I can’t ever find anything because it’s all constantly moved and the prices are now higher than the local grocery store. You’d finally gotten the pharmacy thing right so you changed it to screw it up again, what gives?? Think I change my rxs to local as well, the headache isn’t worth it.

Perfect to reference when filling in dr forms

I make sure I always keep it up to date with info and this makes filling in the forms for doctors so much easier.

I use the journal each time I go to any dr appt. so I am able to look back at what that visit was for and why we might have put me on meds or stopped them. I Make sure to put why we stopped the med and date on the list of meds when I make it inactive.

I wish it had category tabs like surgeries, bloodwork, shots, etc. so I can just add information under that topic. So I created different notes for each one and add the information. (Makes it easier to do quick reference then scrolling through my journal)

As a Mom I have my kids and husband set up in my app too. I keep their information up to date since everyone comes to me to ask these questions. (My kids are in their late 20s.). Created one for my mom and brother and asked them for their medical info so I had this information for dr forms under family health.

Long time user

I started using WalmartWellness back when it was CareZone. My first husband had numerous medical concerns and it was invaluable for keeping track of medicines, etc. I also added my mother as she aged, I was her primary caregiver but her other children lived out of state. It offered a wonderful way to communicate with them concerning her health needs.
Now my new husband and I are aging… both have a few medicines but we also take supplements. The ability to print out the med and supplement list, keep track of procedures already completed and even scan the bloodwork results, are all invaluable!

A very good app to keep track of medications.

I have been using WalmartWellness for several months now. Once you add in medications wether by hand or by taking pictures of the medicine containers with a phone, it is easier to keep track of when you have to take your meds.

It can also track other things like blood pressure if you have a device or blood sugar readings if you need that. I also like that I can add non prescription meds like Tylenol or ibuprofen to keep track of when I took them to help with pain so I don’t over take any medicine.

Fantastic App

I’m 55 and I’ve managed health for my 2 children and my parents (16 yrs of their financial & life needs)…then I remarried and added my husband to that list. Honestly, WalmartWellness has allowed me to track and communicate with others and I feel more confident knowing I can just open WalmartWellness and have most of the medical info and prescriptions. I recommend WalmartWellness to EVERYONE, including my doctors and other medical staff. Love it and THANK YOU for the creations and updates regularly, I love the peace of mind WalmartWellness brings me!!! Download it now, you will be SO happy you did.

Walmart Wellness App

I have been using WalmartWellness for years and it is wonderful. You do not have to remember you medications when you go to the doctor. All you need to do is either print out a list or email it to the doctor yourself. It has wonderful reminders for you to take your medication. You can also set up other windows to track various medical issues like A1C, blood pressure, sleep, and weight etc. My only grievance with WalmartWellness is when you take medication as needed there is not way to record as needed or PRN.

Upgraded review

I just made review and then deleted WalmartWellness because I was so frustrated. I never expected to actually get help in solving it.
So I redownloaded it and can use again So relieved because it was really handy in ordering refills and seeing when they would be done.

Also my seeing record of Covid booster. Which is kind of cool so I while get the omicron booster at Walmart too.
Thank you to the developer for answering so quickly and helping me with my problem completely surprising but very nice

Very Good

There is room for improvement. Like a report for the history of just one medication. Also an easier way to put the actual time the medication was taken instead having to go in and modify each and everyone, many of us take quite a few, which may be one of the reasons we started using WalmartWellness in the first place. I do like the many different trackers. That has helped me and my doctor keep a close eye on what is happening with me.
Thanks for WalmartWellness !

Not bad

I used WalmartWellness for a while before Walmart purchased it. It’s pretty good. I liked that you could scan the medication bottle to fill in the information. I started using it again. However, Get Started page opens up to scan the medication but when I click either the + or the, Get Started button. It takes me to the page to enter the information manually. I wanted to leave feedback in WalmartWellness or ask a question but there’s no area to do that.
Update. Tech supporter contacted me. Had me delete and reinstall. The camera part works fine now

This app has no business existing

There was no reason to separate the walmart app from its pharmacy functionality. This company is just trying to harvest more of YOUR personal data. Walmart has no business getting involved with healthcare in such a manner, they are out of their expertise and market. Not only does walmart treat their employees horribly, do you think the underpaid walmart doctors in the future will treat their patients great? Just wait until they introduce a telehealth feature to get a doctor in your face to get more of your personal details. Just unbelievable how far crooked capitalism will go to get a higher stock price by eating into other markets and throwing their weight around. Get a grip walmart.

Pill Count

Twice in the past three months, I received two scripts that did not have the same amount of pills in. They both should have thirty, but when I get close to reorder time, one of them has a couple less pills left. This has never happened prior to this time. It could be due to a new employee, just a guess. Luckily the scripts are not narcotic. Aside from this, everything has been great.

Question about recent updates

Why does WalmartWellness no longer keep a running tally of the number of days that I have taken all my meds? I rather enjoyed that! It was a good motivation to continue doing so!

Also lately I have recently attempted to log on and I am met with a screen that says something like: “We are experiencing some difficulty. Please try again later.” Now if this only occurred occasionally, I would be more understanding; however, it seems to be happening rather frequently. So, what gives?

Best health app I have found!

I track meds three times a day and I have also set reminders for them. I monitor my blood sugars 3-4 times a day. I also log my A1c everything three months and my cholesterol every six months. I am able to share my three month blood glucose readings with my doctor. This is a great app and I have recommended it to my friends and family. My doctor is also impressed and recommends it to her patients.

Wellness account

I would like to have WalmartWellness on my IPhone and IPad, and use the same ID and password? Is it possible ?

Confused

Why do you have CareZone app now?I don’t get my medication from Walmart

By

Really helpful app!

I always forget to take my meds. WalmartWellness helps me remember and it keeps a record so I can see how I’ve been doing over the course of the week or month. Thanks!

Best health app

This used to be the CareZone app, but still has all the same features to help me track my health and meds. My mom and I use it to coordinate her meds and appointments. No ads, super clean, and easy.

All my medical info in one place

The transition from CareZone to Walmart was smooth and WalmartWellness still does everything I want it to. Love it!

By

Fantastic app

WalmartWellness helps me keep my med list up-to-date, reminds me when to take my meds, and organize all my other health info in one place. I love it. Plus, I can do the same for my kids and parents too, all organized under different profiles. Keep up the great work!

Great app, very easy to use

Love the med trackers, easy to stay on schedule and monitor my med use over time

Having trouble transferring my info.

I’m using the same info I used for care zone. I entered both email and password that I used with my care zone account. And it keeps telling me I’m wrong. I write down all my account passwords. This is really annoying. My care zone account gets changed to a Walmart account, and it won’t let me in.

I get message"Sorry Oops, something went wrong. Please try again. Which I have and it won't open up. I get my alerts but I can't open them. Need help. I really loved my care zone app and love the wellness app. Never had a problem before.

I lost all of my data and trying to retrieve it through the “invite” option of program. An invited person send me an invite and i accept. However in doing so i receive an error message.
