Initially I put a 5 star review, but I’m changing it because I noticed that whenever you upload a pic PinkPapayaPhotoVideo automatically makes it duller… this is super annoying considering sometimes I only want to add some grain/dust and not change the original colors. I’d also like to see some new filters that work better with Green colors. Right now the filters are great but they all react super awkwardly with anything green - and as someone with a lot of plants this is quite annoying. Or at least add an eraser option to all filters?

I was super excited for PinkPapayaPhotoVideo originally. I love the editing style and was looking forward to spicing up my photos with the overlays. I saw it being advertised as a free app, which it is, however the free version is not that great. It seems near 75% of the preset filters, overlays, and text are locked and only available if you pay for them. Most photo editing apps nowadays charge you to unlock features so they can make money. I expected this but I didn’t expect to barely have any options available to me. The hunt for the “perfect” photo editing app continues...

I could tell you why it’s better than each popular app, but just trust me, it’s better. It has the best presets I’ve seen for free, and also other elements you can layer on top like grain, dust, sparkle, and text. I seriously can’t believe it’s free.

VSCO has more presets but I honestly can never find one I actually love. Even with the paid version. And Lightroom you have to create the presets yourself, which is great for some people but for most it’s not. And then I’ve tried a bunch of other apps and again, not as good.

I’m thinking about purchasing the paid plan for PinkPapayaPhotoVideo just because it’s not that expensive and I’d love to help support Sarah for creating such an amazing app. But trust me, the free version is amazing.

Most photo editing apps I generally don’t like. As a photographer sometimes most apps just lack a lot of control but this one is simple but intuitive with features I like to see in an editing app. The UI is clean and no obnoxious ads even if you’re using the free version. I love being able to save presets which is also available with the free version. I haven’t had any weird crashes so it’s pretty stable as well. Definitely plan to use it more. 😊

PinkPapayaPhotoVideo was just released today and I’m already obsessed! I can’t tell you how much I love playing with all the features! So many great options for enhancing photos, and I love the focus on enhancing already great photos instead of changing and drastically altering them. I can’t wait to try the sparkly stretch mark options, as that’s a part of the body that I think we should love and not loath.

I cannot wait to use the heck out of PinkPapayaPhotoVideo!

THIS. APP. IS. AMAZING.
So, I’m not usually a reviewer of things, but this deserves some praise. I’ve tried photo editing app after photo editing app, and they are either super advanced or they offer just a few filters and you have to pay for anything more. While this does have the option to pay to unlock everything, the basic has way more features than I anticipated -from filters to overlays to manually adjusting the s curve, saturation, temp and so on. You can even create your own presets which I’ve already done. It’s definitely great for those just starting out and those who aren’t new to editing. 10/10 recommend

Soooo good! I work for a small home decor store. I work the store & do their online marketing, e-commerce, product photos, etc. Sarah’s app makes it so easy to just snap a picture on my iPhone (my tool for my job) and then tweak it just enough to add a little oomph! without changing the image dramatically. I used to use VSCO to do this but the papaya app is so much better! And does what I require for my job... let alone personal life and pictures. Thank you Sarah!

I’m such a snob when it comes to presets. I make my own in other programs and receive compliments all the time. I love everything about the creator of PinkPapayaPhotoVideo so I wanted to support and give it a try. Every preset is incredible. I’m shocked at the number of presets offered as well as overlays. This eliminates the need for several other apps for me and I couldn’t be more impressed. PinkPapayaPhotoVideo will help even those who aren’t familiar with photo editing create magic for their feed. I love Sarah of The Birds Papaya, so when she announced she was launching an app, I immediately preordered! And just like her, PinkPapayaPhotoVideo does not disappoint! First of all, the filters are beautiful and with a simple click you can transform a dull photo to bring it to life! Second, you can layer and edit the filters to completely customize your photo! And it doesn’t stop there. Finally, you can add fun effects like glitter, dust, sparkles, and more! It’s such a good app and a must have for anyone who wants to elevate their photos!

I edit a lot of photos and have SO many favorite apps from over the years. But PinkPapayaPhotoVideo is fantastic because they have made it so user friendly. A beginner would find editing with the Papaya App so easy and quick unlike a lot of other editing platforms. There are great filters, basic adjustments, beautiful overlays and creative things to make your photos look great. Definitely one of my favorite apps now!

Finally, a photo editing app that offers a LOT of features for FREE! I was starting to get discouraged, as many of the photo editing apps I’ve used for a long time just weren’t doing it for me anymore. The PinkPapaya app has so many filters that actually fit my personal style, and I don’t feel limited if I don’t purchase the plus version. I love The Bird’s Papaya and was so happy to support Sarah, but this is my honest review! Even after playing with it for just a few minutes, it’s already exceeding my expectations.

i love PinkPapayaPhotoVideo so much already!! i’ve been looking for an editing app that has a preset/filter that i can use on virtually all my photos/videos, and i found the perfect one!! my favorite filter is “Papaya” and it’s just what i was looking for! PinkPapayaPhotoVideo has many more features as well as adjusting tools, effects, and text, did i mention this is just the FREE version!! IM OBSESSED and i’m sure there’s more i haven’t found yet! if you like to be quick in editing your insta pics or videos this is perfect for you :)

I realllly love PinkPapayaPhotoVideo so far. I think I will end up doing the paid version, the free version lets you preview the paid filters and features and I really like all that is offered so far on the free version. I really like the filter options, they are very modern and relevant. By far my favorite feature is the different effects to add such as different dust, grain, and light effects that a lot of photo editing apps do not have. I also really enjoy the ability to save a preset so I can have continuity in my photos.

I cannot say this enough, I LOVE PinkPapayaPhotoVideo!
I recently had tried Adobe Lightroom, I’m not the best at editing so the presets were hard for me to understand how to use. I’m already planning to buy the Papaya Photos + Videos subscription once my free trial is up. This is so easy to use... no joke! It’s simple you can just edit your original photo right from your device & are able to save data that you like. This is by far the best photo app I’ve ever used in just a matter of trying out the free trial, it’s a must-have just get it! Happy User

Even though it’s only been released for a few hours I am very satisfied. I love the overall message and goal of PinkPapayaPhotoVideo itself. The ability to edit a photo without the ever tempting retouch button is fabulous. I am guilty of reaching for that option unnecessarily in other apps and am glad that pressure is gone here.

The apps are sorted by type of photo with options such as portrait or outdoor with different filters for each. Each filter can be tweaked and then re-saved as it’s own new preset.

Over lay options are plenty. I’ve not yet tried this option out but I look forward to it.

I have purchased so many editing apps for content creation, and the ease of use is really something else when it comes to the Papaya App! The user experience is seamless and it’s clear the tram spend a LOT OF TIME troubleshooting and making sure it was a smooth process for users. I can’t believe how gorgeous the edits come out, and it’s so quick to add some clouds, give the image a pink undertone and just remove the lackluster lighting that iPhones and cameras sometimes pick up on. Truly an amazing UI and such helpful edits. Looking forward to seeing what’s next on PinkPapayaPhotoVideo but you have a customer for life!! 💕

Honestly, I have used soooo many photo editing apps and this has been the easiest and best to use. It walks you through step by step and the presets actually look good, which I feel like is usually really hard to find. Other apps’ presets rarely ever look good on the photos I use and these I don’t even have to adjust or edit anymore than what they already are. After the presets we have the overlays! And those are so fun. They’re unique and easy to use and they really help create works of art. The layout of PinkPapayaPhotoVideo is great, the ease of use is great, the features are great. Highly HIGHLY recommend!

I’m a lover of filters and presets but have always had to use multiple apps on one photo to get the effect I want. PinkPapayaPhotoVideo however does it all! The ability to layer filters is WHAT WE ALL NEEDED. I also love how customizable every feature is. And unlike other photo editing apps, this one has a concise number of effects that are plenty to work with, but not too many that you get lost looking for just the right filter. You can tell PinkPapayaPhotoVideo was created by someone who really has a love for using their photos as art too and that makes all the difference.
Not to be dramatic, but this is PinkPapayaPhotoVideo I have been waiting for.

So fun and easy to use, my favorite overlays are the sparkles & clouds, so dreamy!! Each feature and editing tool has its own adjustments too so there isn’t just a “see is what you get” feel, it is literally as flexible as you want it to be! You also don’t need the purchasable version to do fun stuff with it, however, it does expand the fun! Thank you for making photo editing fun & not something I feel like I have to do to make myself look good in a photo. “Create don’t correct” 💕✨👏🏻🌸

I can’t wait to upgrade because PinkPapayaPhotoVideo is exactly what I needed! I love sparkles and now I can move and place them as needed (for free)! Glitter stripes are going on my stretch marks ASAP. I’ve never been so excited to share them. PinkPapayaPhotoVideo design is beautiful and I like that there is more than one way to move through filters and categories. I’m creative but need some help - this is a great space to have help in being creative!

I took photos during pregnancy that I KNEW I wanted to edit with PinkPapayaPhotoVideo the second it released. I love the sparkle effect! I also adore the kind notes when you save a photo! “Remember your worth is not determined by ‘likes’” (probably misquoted)

I’m already using it like crazy. It’s so easy and there are a ton of options in the freebies you could use. But if you want more, the annual subscriptions are super affordable for my small business!

Finally a photo app that has everything I need all in one place! Love the aesthetic of PinkPapayaPhotoVideo and the presets. Very easy to use. Free version is substantial, and paying for the bonuses doesn’t seem necessary to get a full experience. I feel like PinkPapayaPhotoVideo will take the place for 3+ photo editing apps I currently use. Love it so far!

the color schemes are eye catching & beautiful. it’s easy to use. the frequency of ads are a bit disappointing - but it’s new. i wish it wasn’t a “subscription” but a one time payment to use the full set of filters or maybe a small one time payment for a set of filters. but despite that complaint i’ll still be using it.

PinkPapayaPhotoVideo is just overall - AMAZING. Unlike majority of the other photo editing apps this is easy and efficient to use and navigate. Not to mention all the added perks beyond just filters that are given (both for free and bought). Definitely recommend any and everyone to use PinkPapayaPhotoVideo regardless of their photo editing skill level. It’s just that user friendly!!

I have tried and paid for multiple apps that are supposed to make amazing edits to my photos. I have been disappointed every time. My iPhone presets were better. But PinkPapayaPhotoVideo! Home run!!! Love the filters and love the fun overlays! The one thing that officially sold me on PinkPapayaPhotoVideo was it was able to lighten up a phone of my daughter that I couldn’t get the other app to do and I paid for that app! The end result is now a great photo of my daughter! I have cancelled my payments to the other app and deleted it. I think I will be paying for the upgrade on the papaya app!

You guys, you literally have to do NOTHING to make your photos amazing anymore. This is truly a great, 1 step (if you want it to be) app. No more drooling over $60 preset packs by random blogger mommies, it’s here and it’s affordable and dang. Did I mention my photos look incredible?
