It’s definitely easier to do stuff with the market but MLBTheShowCompanionApp is super slow glitchy there’s a glitch if you place a ton of orders MLBTheShowCompanionApp will glitch out and keeps saying fetching data it’s annoying you have to wait a few minutes and restart MLBTheShowCompanionApp , it’s also very annoying that they won’t let you do collections and exchanges on MLBTheShowCompanionApp personally I’d still recommend getting MLBTheShowCompanionApp if you’re someone who trying to get stubs but if not there’s really no purpose and MLBTheShowCompanionApp is super glitchy at the same time. Oh yes please stop logging me out and just keep me logged into MLBTheShowCompanionApp I get it’s easy to get back in its kinda just like why is it logging me out anyways. It would help MLBTheShowCompanionApp get downloads if they added a feature on MLBTheShowCompanionApp that isn’t available on console, also it would be cool if they added a market notification bell maybe add a little trivia section where you get quizzed on baseball facts to earn small amounts of stubs kinda like 2ktv it would be a fun thing to add I know it’s a far fetched idea but it would be cool if they made it to where instead of having to put buy orders separately they allowed you to just put a specific number of how many you want the last thing I have to add is please clean up the look of MLBTheShowCompanionApp a little it looks significantly more dull than the game and it honestly is kinda a eye sore imo I also

MLBTheShowCompanionApp functions exactly as intended, with little to no bugs or glitches that I could find, and overall I think it’s a great supplement to the game and improves the overall experience of the show to be able to purchase and open packs, as well as see news, and access the community market, all when you’re away from your console. The only thing that held me back from a 5 star rating is the fact that as far as I can tell, there’s no way to view or manage your squads. I think that’s the only place where MLBTheShowCompanionApp misses the mark. You can view your inventory, but that leaves a bit to be desired as it only shows cards you own, not the ones you currently use. The simplest solution I can think of is to have a “squads” or “squad management” tab where you can swap cards in and out, as well as check their attributes, and their stats. In total, I think the companion app in its current form is very convenient and definitely a plus, there’s just one or two quality of life improvements that could be made to ensure a more user friendly experience

From a usability perspective MLBTheShowCompanionApp is great! I can much more easily play the market than I can in my console. In fact when I’m playing the game and I earn packs instead of opening them in the console I pick up my phone and open them in MLBTheShowCompanionApp because I can much more easily see the market value and sell my dupes on the spot with MLBTheShowCompanionApp interface.

I only gave 4 stars because of a few (but tolerable) performance issues. MLBTheShowCompanionApp loads and processes actions slowly in general which isn’t a huge deal, but it seems to freeze up for a few minutes every so often with a perpetual loading screen, especially when I’m in the middle of placing a lot of buy/sell orders. I have to wait a few minutes and relaunch MLBTheShowCompanionApp and it loads, but I lost my place and need to find it again. I sure hope SDS fixes this issue soon.

MLBTheShowCompanionApp has NEVER been a model of bug-free efficiency, frequently requiring you to re-authenticate via your PS/Xbox/Nintendo account (several times an hour)… but it was always serviceable, and super useful for using the marketplace.

Since the last update, though, it slows to a laggy mess before freezing up entirely within literally 3-5 minutes of use. It acts like an old computer trying to run too many processes on too little of memory. Then you have to force close MLBTheShowCompanionApp and re-launch it (once again having to re-authenticate again), only to be gifted another 3 minutes max of use time before it all happens again. And if you lock your phone while MLBTheShowCompanionApp is open, it will be frozen and require a force close again upon unlocking. Every single time.

Hopefully they get it fixed soon. It’s easier to use the website on a computer and re-type the captcha for every order now.

I love it you open packs anywhere. You can manage your squad and rotation. You can buy and sell cards and more stuff like that, but I have a few things me and my friend would love to see in the future
1. See your players stats ( that would be cool if you sleep over at your friends house you can brag about your Luis Castillo going 5-0 in 5 starts and his going 0-5 now that would be cool)
2. Be able to play MLB the show on the company app (if you can do it on Nintendo then you should be able to do it on your app in the future)
3. Be able see your ranked season score on your app ( and same thing as two you made World Series and He didn’t even hit 500 )
Those are me and my friends ideas to make it better. it’s a great app don’t get me wrong just those are some ways you guy can make it better.
P.S. I would love if you could add a 99 overall Garrett crochet future stars card maybe in like a headliner pack or like, but last year his 94 card was my ace all year.

I have the newest version of MLBTheShowCompanionApp . It says in the 4.0.0 version that face scan was fixed. I can access it on my phone and uploaded a picture. I keep pressing the refresh button on my Xbox but it doesn’t seem to do anything. My phone seems to know that I have an uploaded picture of myself but my Xbox does not. Yes, they are linked. I have also restarted the game several times. Really looking forward to using this feature. Am I not doing it right or is there still some bugs to work out?

App works like it’s supposed too but need a squad tab. Being able to see the market away from the system is nice. Add side games or something to MLBTheShowCompanionApp to be able to win stubs away from your console. Or an incentive for using MLBTheShowCompanionApp daily. Also a tab for the PlayStation network Trophies progress. And an event progress tab or just ability to see what you need in an event while your playing.

This is the perfect MLBTheShow app. This works as best as it’s intended to be. It allows you to check the marketplace, manage your inventory, open and buy packs and much more. Sure there is a little buffering here and there but I mean the benefits of being able to play the game when you are not near your console make up for this. Definitely get MLBTheShowCompanionApp if you are trying to have a better MLBTheShow experience.

Logon to play The Show 23 and MLBTheShowCompanionApp won’t load. They encourage you to do a “face scan” in the companion app but it doesn’t even have a section for The Show 23. Feels like they did not prepare MLBTheShowCompanionApp to be ready for the game launch which feels wrong. I am also annoyed because knowing that I can do a face scan, I want to but am at the mercy of MLBTheShowCompanionApp which has been “processing data” for 2.5 hours after login. And then there is no way to get help without submitting a ticket on The Show website, also a really frustrating addition.

Ive used MLBTheShowCompanionApp for only nearly 30 minutes and I already love it! As an avid player of the game MLBTheShowCompanionApp makes selling cards and just the overall process of opening packs so much easier. With the function to double tap the cards you open to instantly sell them on the market this saves me a lot of time!

Thank you for updating MLBTheShowCompanionApp finally! And the game is even more amazing. However, when I go to face scan, it has a red stripe that says closed on it. And when I press it it says “Sorry, but you are unable to use face scan technology at this time.” I am really looking forward to this feature, so please fix.

If your going to release a game at least make sure features are available to everybody at launch. Especially with how expensive this game is you’d expect it to be a full game with all feature available.

Update: app has finally been updated to support mlb 23 and all the new features 🎉

MLBTheShowCompanionApp provides easy access towards you being able to buy shop items and sell items. It also gives you lineup changes from the 2021 season if anyone has moved. But the problem is that you can view your lineup from MLBTheShowCompanionApp . There should be a tab that has your players and their stats. But good app. 😁

I was able to log in first try in about 5 seconds, I bought a pack and it was legit, going screen to screen it is very fast, took less then a second to load to look for a card “manny Machado” on the market, and you can go through every past roster update through the year. This is amazing!

Give them at least a week or two to get everything straight hahaha Jesus y’all are so impatient. The real MLB season hasn’t even started yet and y’all tripping over a companion app…

I absolutely think that MLBTheShowCompanionApp is cool and you can get updates for the game. However, I tried to sign in to my account and it kept saying “server is unavailable.” Idk if it has to do with my wifi or if it’s a problem with MLBTheShowCompanionApp . Overall i would say it’s a huge W from what i’ve seen so far. I just wanna be able to log into my own account.

I think it would be very helpful for the players to add the “Ownership” filter that is used in the My Inventory tab that lets us filter by owned/dupe to the Community Market tab. Letting us filter the Market by cards we already own or have dupes of would let us find lower overall cards that we own that sell for higher prices so that we can sell them much easier

The all seems great so far, as you can basically do everything but play on the go. There’s just one problem. How do you guys forget to allow us to see our current squad? Maybe it flew over your head or you just didn’t feel we needed it, which is entirely false. Unless there is a way and I’m just too incapable of seeing it, you need to add it.

MLBTheShowCompanionApp is amazing, especially when your friends ask you about line up then you whip out your phone and show your line up, rotation, bullpen, etc. one thing I wish they let you do and is the only thing that didn’t make out 5 stars was you can’t see your progress in your program or even your stats only gripe about MLBTheShowCompanionApp

I love MLBTheShowCompanionApp! Makes it very easy to buy and sell cards, and to open packs without having to turn on the game. My one complaint is that I have to log in every time I open MLBTheShowCompanionApp . Sure if only takes 6-10 seconds, but this is getting annoying over time. Otherwise a great app! Next can we get an app for the community forum? :)

A lot of my friends who I know have MLBTheShowCompanionApp really enjoy it, that’s why I’m giving 2 stars, I know the potential MLBTheShowCompanionApp has if it will let me in. I’ve tried logging in a million different times and it says is “error” so that might be something the developers should look into. I did realize that my friends are both Xbox users and me a Switch, maybe that makes a difference? I don’t know, but I will download again once login issue is fixed.

MLBTheShowCompanionApp really needs to have a “salable” sub-option in the INVENTORY option. Separate the non-sale from the salable.

This is too the developers when I start MLBTheShowCompanionApp it just says fetching data and keeps loading one day I waited hours hoping it would work and I’ve tried redownloading it multiple times and still fetching data so if someone could help I would really appreciate that

It is a really cool app to use and you can see you diamond dynasty team and see what your friends pull but the face scan says closed.

Can’t even get past the login screen because it won’t let you log in with anything other than a phone number, which isn’t tied to my main gamer tag…. When then going and tying it to my main gamer tag , simply throws and error.. trash

Since downloading MLBTheShowCompanionApp , I have really liked how useful it is when away from the console. Being able to buy and sell players, open packs and see flash sale offers is great. I would like it if there was someplace where you could see your collections and progress in acquiring them. Currently my frustration is that I am unable to log in. For well over a day or more now I continue to get an error message while trying, saying there is an issue connecting to servers. I’ve tried deleting MLBTheShowCompanionApp and reinstalling it and still have no luck. I use MLBTheShowCompanionApp on 2 separate devices and neither will access MLBTheShowCompanionApp .

I pulled a Mike trout diamond and the game glitched and made the card go away then I reopened the pack and got a no name guy please give me my Mike trout but all around good game

Are the developers working on the face scan or is it just not working?

One of the big marketing points of this game was face scan. There is no option for face scan in MLBTheShowCompanionApp .

Very frustrating. I haven’t been able to sign in on my phone because of an unknown error after submitting correct information. I like to check the market without having to turn on my console. Please help

It’s not MLBTheShowCompanionApp ’s fault, it’s Microsoft not understanding how to make a website because every time I try to sign in it just takes me to a signed out version of the website. Maybe if the MLB The Show app could make a way where you could sign in using the Xbox/PlayStation/Nintendo app it would work smoother.

app wouldn’t let me sign in tried multiple times and tried to delete MLBTheShowCompanionApp and redownload and still wouldn’t work. don’t recommend.

In general I like MLBTheShowCompanionApp , but when I look to do face scan it says it is closed. The issue has been happening around a month now. I don’t know if it is related with me playing on Xbox or something similar to that. I would rate MLBTheShowCompanionApp better if face scan worked for me because I really want to use the feature. Every other feature is almost perfected. PSN, please fix this.

How do I link an account I have a switch and I want to play the account I have on my switch to my Xbox please put that in your app.

First few months having MLBTheShowCompanionApp it was great! Being able to place bids on market/ exchanges ect…
Now I can’t even sign in.
Have Xbox/Nintendo switch/ the show accounts all linked and none of those work to log in through MLBTheShowCompanionApp . Pretty annoying.

Great way to mange your squad and look at new updates while you are not home

I keep getting an insufficient funds when I try to buy a 50 bundle. Bundle is 75k. I’m sitting on 150k stubs.

Doesn’t work. Tried forcing logout, updating and clearing cache and cookies like they suggest but still can’t even sign in. Was excited to do a face scan for road to the show but I guess I’ll have to stick with a generic character

I can’t even upload a face scan. Keeps getting stuck at 33 percent and then doesn’t move. I tied over a 2 month span now and still same problem. I feel like it’s not that difficult to fix something like an uploading problem

I can sell valuable cards very easily on the market making a huge profit in Stubbs. My team went from all 92’s to every single player on my team being a 99 in less than 2 days. It’s crazy if u have a bunch of worthless 92s that you don’t use just sell them to them buy a good 99

Cannot connect to your account so you literally can’t do anything. Makes you make an account and says whoops never mind we can’t help you. Awful I wish I could give 0 stars. Now I’ll get trash emails for nothing.

Won’t let me do face scan the link doesn’t work

Looks like it’s 99% bad reviews throughout the whole year. I just downloaded this and can’t sign in to my PlayStation account without getting an internal error on MLBTheShowCompanionApp. People complaining about the face scan not working and other things. Maybe you developers need to fix your app so us fans will actually appreciate playing The Show.

Hi SDS it’s a good app, few bugs but one thing that really bugs me is the ability to switch through games add that ability please

Auto signs me into my gmail which is not my gamertag. Then when I sign in the other way it doesn’t utilize MLBTheShowCompanionApp but shows me signed in. Make it where you can sign in either by your gamertag or psn and then use MLBTheShowCompanionApp .

Yesterday I downloaded MLBTheShowCompanionApp and logged in. When I tried using the face scan it said it’s not available at this time. Today I open MLBTheShowCompanionApp and makes me login again. And again I see the same thing of can’t use face scan at this time. I try reporting a bug but button does nothing (same with community forums, support, submit feedback, and more).

Downloaded app, setup account, logged in, not even good enough to link account for face scan. App is obsolete and fails to function at any level. I feel like returning the game knowing it’s associated with this scummy trash of an app. Not good enough and I’ve no faith in anything associated to get better, get better, now I have to look down on you. Swing and a big fat miss.

It's a great app for Iphone no doubt, but I don't usually use a phone during the day, so I would really love for it to be able to work with mac. I know the previous mlb the show 23 one worked with mac, so I'm just a little confused why it's just greying right now, instead of showing me the goods.

Face scan never worked in the show 23, and now I just spent 70 dollars on a brand new game and it still doesn’t work. It was one of things i was excited about to have in a game like this, but it’s always too good to be true to actually work.

MLBTheShowCompanionApp is completely atrocious to say the least. i’ve tried logging in countless times and i just get booted. whoever created this should be banned, fired, punished immediately. this is just abysmal. MLBTheShowCompanionApp is not helpful in any shape, size, or form. i’m just trying to log on mlb here and this crappy app ruins it for myself and everyone else.

I have multiple Microsoft accounts and accidentally selected the wrong one. There is not an option to sign out of that Microsoft account. I want to go back and choose the one actually associated with my Xbox. When I select my game (24) and console (Xbox) it still prompts me every time if I want to use Microsoft online to sign in. Cool. But it’s still logged in to the wrong account and I can’t change in on this apps browser. Not sure how to fix but it makes MLBTheShowCompanionApp unusable.

I think that you should make a mlb the show mobile game because like me and many others don’t have an Xbox or ps5 so if you would do a mobile game it would help you and many others

I was skeptical at first given the reviews, but as long as you download the plug-in through MLBTheShowCompanionApp , the face import tool works just fine!

Only downloaded for the face scan, which made my character look like a burn victim. Than MLBTheShowCompanionApp just sends push notifications about people getting cards, probably trying to get me to buy packs.

Annoying app for a subpar game that needs to be completely redeveloped in a new engine.

I only downloaded it for the face scan feature which seems to just not work. It says that it’s ready to be used and to just select the face scan option in game but the game says to download MLBTheShowCompanionApp to get it so it seems like it is stuck in a limbo. Very disappointing.

I got this just for face scan and it is always closed and the game is horrible I try my best to play cause in every video the ball goes right in the middle so I always power swing in the middle and it goes into a ball and I’m so mad I want to uninstall it all and I already broke multiple controllers throwing it at the wall cause of striking out I absolutely HATE THIS
