I couldn’t tell if this was a free app or not, and then in order to continue it looked like it was a fee of $29 or so after a certain number of free days (maybe 3???). I wasn’t even clear if it charged me the $29 to continue trying to do my first photo and am not happy so I have to figure out if inadvertently I got roped into this auto monthly charge thing. Plus the first photo didn’t even work. I would not get Pounce . I don’t like apps that are not transparent how the charges work and make it look like you have to select certain choices in order to progress to the next page. It was simply not clear to a consumer how this worked and it felt like it was intentionally set up that way...

Whenever I try to edit it says no person detected… this is supposed to be for pets not people! I don’t know if paying makes any difference but if you looking for an app to edit you pet photos and put more then just stickers then this isn’t the best app. Thank you for reading this and I hope Pounce can improve. :)

I wanted to try Pounce out, it promises you a 3 day trial. It automatically charges you, and if you delete Pounce . It will ask for that $20 again. So Pounce is pretty much a scam. Please if you purchased talk to your bank or get a refund from Apple.

Pounce ONLY recognizes people in photos, it does NOT recognize animals- you are only able to add a human head in the templates. This has been an issue for over a year. They haven’t fixed it but are still raking in monthly fees. Shady and dishonest.

The cutout feature no longer works detecting animals – the pop up says no human detected every single time, no matter which picture I use. I used to love Pounce but now I can’t even use it :(

I would give 0 stars if i could. I downloaded Pounce and signed up for the free 3 day trial. Within 1 hour i cancelled. My credit card was still charged. There is no way to contact customer service. I will dispute charge.

I got this to make a photo of my dog, but the built in “cutout” tool does not recognize dogs. It keeps saying that it can’t see a person in the photo. Clearly they repurposed a tool for people. It would be fine if I could manually add a photo, but it wouldn’t let me do that either.

Why does it even say pet photo editor when it won’t recognize the pet clear as day in the picture. It only recognizes people and that’s not what I’m here for! I have some cats/kittens I need to get adopted and putting them in some cute backgrounds would be such a fun thing to do for flyers. This is annoying, wasted my time.

I got Pounce to make fun pictures of my cats. At first it worked great, but now it no longer identifies animals so you can’t use Pounce properly. I emailed customer service months ago and they informed me it would soon be fixed, but it still does not work properly. There is also very limited choices for the clothing items. Not worth wasting your money on Pounce especially since they charge you before trial is up.

Pounce was the best for making fun photos for adoptable rescue dogs. Sometimes the photos we get of them don’t capture their true personality and so adding them in to silly filters was a great way to get people engaged and interested. But for over 6 months now the filter doesn’t work anymore…..

I sent a message last summer (2021) and notified them and they said they were aware and working on this issue… 7 months later and it’s still broken. It’s a bummer because unfortunately this means I’m just deleting Pounce ….

I tried to use the medieval portrait filter on my cat. Instead of pasting his head on the body, it pasted a hand from the background of the photo. I tried it on a cat, and I don’t even what it showed. Please fix this.

I loved Pounce when I first got it. It was user friendly and fun. I used for my pets and the cutout feature allowed me to put my pets into photos . BUT suddenly the cutout feature does Not work on pets or anything besides humans….. why has this suddenly happened ????? Will this be fixed????? Why did it work seamlessly and now suddenly stop recognizing certain figures???!!!!! I had recommended Pounce to many pet lovers and now I find it doesn’t even work . Please advise……!!!!!!

I loved Pounce! I work in the pet industry and I was using this for many clients pets and recommending it quite a bit. Within the last week it stopped working for the cut out portion and says it does not recognize any PEOPLE in the photo. There are no people in the photos!!! Please fix this as I would hate to have to delete this and find another app. I liked this one. Before I just wanted more templates for female pets; now I just want it to work at all.

Pounce is a lot of fun, even at the free level. I wish some of the templates were a little more adjustable. For example, I’d love to make my cat into a Supreme Court justice, but the glasses are at the wrong spot and can’t (at least as far as I can figure out) be moved. But it’s worth downloading anyway so you can make funny pet portraits.

I absolutely love this program and I would give you a five star but I really do need the old program you had where I was able to cut out animals and put them in different backgrounds.

Great app it makes very realistic looking pics that are helping me grow my social media; however I wish Pounce would come out with some new backdrops once in a while

I take pictures of my puppy, add clothes and a hat. Then I put them up on Facebook and and send them to my friends.

So cute and easy to navigate. One can def get creative with Pounce

I use Pounce to make art collector plates. Pets’ heads on Victorian bodies. It’s pretty easy to use. I wish there was an easier way to make sure the cut out templates were saved because I kept losing them. Also wish there were a few more preselected body backdrops. Hopefully more will be added. Aside from that it’s fantastic!

Great for fun Instagram post. I use it to promote pet adoption . Easy to use and very creative .
