Ok don’t get me wrong MyTalkingPet is great! But one major complaint is after you make to videos this thing pops up and asks you to pay something like 20 dollars and I can afford that but maybe other people can’t and that makes me super annoyed because it’s like you download MyTalkingPet thinking oh this will be so funny I get MyTalkingPet make to videos and the third video I try to share asks me for a yearly or monthly pet pro! Some feedback I have is to make MyTalkingPet work better a way you can do that is maybe make MyTalkingPet have unlimited sharing abilities and then create more hats or something like that and make that the pet pro and also make the pet pro be able to do two pets at once some way and I bet people will sign up for that. But in the end this is a really cool app and a great idea but don’t ruin that by making the user only be able to share it twice. I hope you read this and get the feedback!! Thank you!!

MyTalkingPet seemed great at first, and I gave it a fair shot. It did a good job for making the pets talk. MyTalkingPet was perfect, until I tried saving the 3rd video. It said I ran out of tries, and had to buy a premium, very expensive, version. I did what any reasonable human would do, and I started screen recording. I know, I know, I’m sure that the developers will respond and say, “What a scandalous thing of you!” But to that I say, make your premium less expensive!! But, I bet you’re thinking, ‘Why is this a one star review, if you ended up screen recording?’ Well, simple. When it started screen recording, it popped up a giant pink cat that was crying 😿! All in front of my video! I stopped recording, and the pink cat vanished. First of all, seriously!? Why do we have to pay? Second, my goodness, that’s freaky. I gave MyTalkingPet permission for only 3 things. My microphone, my camera, and my camera roll. I never gave it permission to know when I’m screen recording. This crossed my line. To sum it up, MyTalkingPet only cares about money and they violate the permissions you give them. Like several others, I purchased My Talking Pet Pro a couple of years ago (or so) for around $10. It was great back then...very entertaining as I used it primarily with pets, politicians, and other simple lifeforms. Having not used it in quite a awhile, I opened it today only to find that it will no longer allow me to save videos. I looked for a upgrade and MyTalkingPet doesn’t exist anymore but I can now download My Talking Pets and upgrade to the “Pro” version for only $24 a year. What a rip off. Those of us who invested it in years ago are apparently screwed and don’t even have access to a working app anymore. We’re seeing more and more software moving towards subscription services in an attempt to make more income without having to do much in terms of bug fixes and software upgrades. Sadly, this developer has decided to follow that trend. It was a fun app and worth $10 but has now changed to a simple money grab. $24 a year...Give me a break. Save your money and spend it on better video morphing software that’s available out there from more reputable developers. As for me, I’m deleting MyTalkingPet and making no more purchases from this developer.

I already had the this app App before this one came out which is very confusing. I paid $10 or something for the this app app that I got like 5 years ago. All of a sudden I couldn't share the videos I make on it to anything. MyTalkingPet would just crash. I tried to look up MyTalkingPet to see if there was an update. There was no update for the “this app” App I had; however, it says there is a “this app” app that I can “get” or “download” which is super confusing. How can I get an app with the same exact name as an app I already have on my phone. Anyway, I downloaded it and now I have TWO this app apps on my phone! One of them I paid $10 for or something like that and that one doesn’t work anymore and now I have a SECOND one but I have to pay to unlock stuff. What happened? Did they recreate the same app so that people who bought the old one would have to pay again for the new one? Something is super sketchy about it.

I have been using MyTalkingPet loving it when it works. Why in the world haven’t y’all added any new accessories. They are the exact same as when I started MyTalkingPet in the free version years ago. In your description you say something like in the Pro version, which I have, you get more options for the accessories but nothing is new.

Also, I tried using MyTalkingPet today and when I clicked on Save and Share, MyTalkingPet closed and nothing was saved. I then went to settings>help and a Troubleshooting page came up with only directions of how to get help by clicking on settings>help which I already did. What nonsense!!!!!!!!!!!
I seriously think the owners of MyTalkingPet cares nothing for their customers!!! They just want to market and bring more customers in to pay. They don’t even have a help or troubleshooting page to go to. MyTalkingPet could be incredible but instead it’s terrible but not as terrible as the owners of MyTalkingPet . Whoever they have paid to create, update, add new items (never happens), maintain MyTalkingPet doesn’t know what they are doing or are not experienced enough to make changes and make sure MyTalkingPet works properly.

I like MyTalkingPet I am a noob though once I sent two messages to my parents and my cousin well only two times I got a chance to do it but then I made this really funny video and I pressed share but then what happened was it told me that I have to pay to send more to people which is so uncool so please change that and if you guys want MyTalkingPet read this it’s a great app but the problem with it is it won’t let you share more than two times in less you pay ridiculous priceWell not ridiculous just like I think it should be more fair people games should be free this game don’t get me wrong it’s such a good game but I just want you to work on that so guys try and get this but use your 2 times wisely I mean isn’t it crazy you only get 2 times only two times like really why does there any warning only two times read this so use it wisely before you have to pay this price

PROS: easy to use. CONS: free version is pretty useless/limited... after using it, I assume it’s more of an experimentation to see if you want to invest. Limited accessories so I opted for 1 mos to investigate further. You get the same five dated clipart hats in the pro version as you do in the free version - the only difference seems to be no water marks. I care nothing about the audio options because I would be using my own, so honestly didn’t check the free version. I also have a blue! On the accessory area so maybe I’m just not seeing everything but I tapped and looked and read everything I possibly could, including reloading. I was hoping for some other PRO style options like more hats/accessories that looked to be designed post 1990. You have to have a perfectly centered photo with space all around otherwise the hats get cut off and the top app banner impedes the ability to adjust the tracking. I wanted to use a photo where the dogs head was to the side but facing front and the refresh icon and banner made it difficult and frustrating. The accessories were oddly sized on that photo as well, but seemed better on the fuller headshot. I would expect these limitations on a free version, but not a pro version. Worth $3 for one month to play, but not more for me. If they made these changes I might reconsider. I will investigate some of the other talking app options out there for now.

Ok MyTalkingPet is really great but I can’t believe you can’t just send them to people or save without getting the pro version because that’s the reason I got MyTalkingPet in the first place! Besides that big problem I think it is really cute. Maybe instead of making that one of the pro traits they could just make it to where you get more pre-made faces or whatever. Let’s be honest because without being able to save or send these I’m going to just delete MyTalkingPet in a couple of days anyway. It’s probably the same for other people too. But yeah on the plus side MyTalkingPet is fun and it actually looks pretty realistic and I find it very funny. I would only recommend MyTalkingPet if you plan to get the pro version or I guess you could have it as one of those like “One minute entertainment” apps if you don’t feel like spending money.👍

I saw MyTalkingPet and decided to get it, as advertised it looked easy and fun. But it was hard, tho enjoyable. The problem tho is if you mess up.... it looks supper creepy and the face looks all stretched and, just... uujheew. If you wants MyTalkingPet, it is funny as long as you won’t get get creeped out by the concerning face of your own pet. Also, when at the beginning, and you pick out the faces for your library, that, and the pictures you can take for at the exact moment are all you get to use, So Choose Well!!! Good luck with this difficult app that I find funny but creepy if you mess up! Massing up is funny, and this makes my day! P.S..

I really like this game but I don’t like how you can only save two videos of your pet talking in the free version. My mom doesn’t have enough money to buy the pro version and even if she did that would waste her money. I want to be able to share videos with my friends and family but I can only share two and I don’t think that’s fair. If the creator of this game reads this, please make unlimited videos you can save for the free version. My brother wants me to create a hollow knight character to talk but I can’t share it with him because I have two chances to save two videos. I tried deleting my two videos I saved but still it didn’t work I have to get the pro version to save unlimited videos. And as you can see I explained why I don’t want to get the pro version because it’s a waste of money so please make the free version of this game save unlimited videos.

Now that this is owned by GoDaddy and it is a paid subscription, I expect a bit more.

I have a great picture! Of course it’s of my cat… she’s amazing!… it is what it is! (((AMAZING KITTY!)))

And I would love to use pointy ears! But I cannot. And again on this last picture, it didn’t lineup correctly with default setting. And when I went to fix the ears myself, the back button is over top of her right ear tip—to my left. So this option is not good for some cat photos. It is the third time/picture I’ve had this happen.

So there is a widget. What is it supposed to do? Tell me the weather in a voice that’s not my cat’s? Not fun. You can’t send a message from the widget like it was included somewhere closer to the beginning of MyTalkingPet’s conception. That changed a couple times... I think. And as far as my cat’s voice, I have to struggle to get it correct every time I go to make a new video, because it’s not (saved) when I go to make a new one. And that is a pain in the behind.

If there is an option to save her voice, and people know her voice, I don’t know where that option is.

There’s been quite a few times that I’ve just stopped before I got very far with any little project. And I wonder, “If don’t use it, why am I paying for it?”

It’s a great app. But the quirks take some of the fun out of it.

I use this for a cute little elf Dobby. I had no idea when someone suggested that name that it was in a famous movie bummer. He’s nothing like that elf. MyTalkingPet does a great job of animating his cute little face. There were some recent updates that were kinda glitchy and it won’t work on certain pictures which didn’t make sense to me. They were the same format. It would just refuse to open the photo. Sometimes MyTalkingPet starts jerking for lack of a better term. I t might have to do with the face emulating your expressions. I wish that worked better. I turn it off. Everything else works really well. Overall I gave it 4 stars. If it wouldn’t have been for the storage jerking distortions and not working with a picture I needed it to I’d have given it 5 stars. It’s a really fun creative app!

My dog Yetta Notherschnauzer has a wonderful time sending her own messages for birthdays holidays even to make her own grooming appointment. Today’s message to the groomer included something about the fact how proud she was that I actually took the initiative to call and I have thumbs all the way down to the fact that since the groomers behind where I get my hair done we usually do spa days together. Unfortunately she’s told the groomer she’s gonna look better because she doesn’t think there’s a plastic surgeon at the hairdressers. After saying that she said “oops! Was that out loud!” So every message is different and we’re having a blast best investment I ever made it’s worth the money to buy the full version so do yourself a favor and get it specially if you enjoy having your pets send messages for you. Too bad we can’t share the video.

MyTalkingPet is amazing! It lets you set up the face and you can even do it on people, but when their mouth opens, it looks triangle. One more thing is when I am setting up my dog’s face, and I select the side part of the mouth, it moves the middle one sometimes. Also, if you have a cat or a pet with pointy ears, you can put a setting on pointy ears. One last great thing is that the speed and pitch of the animals voice isn’t in one setting, such as if I do a really low voice and put the speed to the highest, the low voice doesn’t get higher. Anyway, this is a great app and thank you (to the developers) for making MyTalkingPet because it is AMAZING and I mean it.

My app says since you are offering a new app ... that you will give me free service for a year ... I do NOT require that . It is kind of you to offer but . Just let me update to the new one ! I put in my credit card three times trying to upgrade to the new PRO or 2 or whatever it is .. it’s very confusing !! Why can’t I override your free offering . Give it to someone else ! I am willing to pay . I think it’s super fun and cute !! What is happening is that not being able to upgrade has ALSO put your watermark back in ! I have never used your free version ! We all work hard to earn money and you deserve to earn money !! So please figure out why I can’t override the free service for a year . Thank you !!

This has been a really fun app! But out of nowhere I was told I needed to get the paid option because I’d used up all my saves I guess? I wasn’t told this to begin with so it took me by surprise. I don’t understand why unlimited saves aren’t available with the free version since I am also getting advertisements, which I thought should pay for that...? I’m not sure it was just sad to see MyTalkingPet not last long before requiring payment.
Suggestion: maybe you could put an ad on the corner of the screen as well as the pop ups to get more profit so not everyone has to get the paid version, or make certain dialogues or voices only available with the paid subscription.

At first i liked MyTalkingPet , but then i found out that you only get to share the videos 5 times! i deleted MyTalkingPet for space on my phone, but then i decided to redownload MyTalkingPet . When i went into MyTalkingPet i made another video, but then i discovered something awsome! I was able to make another video and I was able to save it!!!😄 turns out that if you use your five times on saving the videos all you have to do is just delete MyTalkingPet and then re-download it and you get another five turns!!! that’s all you have to do instead of just wasting $10 on the full version!😅😅 I would’ve rated MyTalkingPet maybe two stars but now that I see I can use this glitch, now I would rate five stars!!!!

I REALLY like MyTalkingPet! It’s super cute and funny! There’s only one thing: I know it says on the video that you can do with humans. I tried it and it turned out SUPER creepy🤡! I took a pic of myself and I had it on a high pitch by accident and it looked like (and sounded like) I was a creepy doll! So, don’t false advertise!! But other than that, it’s a pretty darn cool app!😻😎 And one other thing: I know you can only share/save two videos without pro. Which, is kinda unfair because I reeeeaally want to share all my videos with my family and friends. You’ll actually might make more money without that feature because if I shared it to a bunch of people then they’ll wanna get it and they might do the pro. I hope you see some sense in that🙄. So please consider doing that and it will make a world of difference!

Look I know this game is fun but wasting money and sell all your clothes and then sell your home that’s very bad but yay your stupid pro version will last forever my mom works in a food truck she makes hundreds of dollars but she has to pay the internet the water the electricity but she can’t get the pro version because it’s 20 something bucks and cool there’s a free trial nope you still have to pay my mom isn’t a fool and also I tried doing the share but I made a mistake 2 times and I ran out of them I turned my dog Jax into Rudolph and share it to my grandpa the creator of this I love you but please let us share at least 10 of them or unlimited I know your tring to make money but there’s more ways

MyTalkingPet offers hours of fun, especially when you make videos of your friends’ pets talking. Depending on how well you match the phrases and vocal qualities with the pet, it’s a reliable way to crack up your friends. The adjustments take a little while to master. It’s helpful if you’ve used other photo-editing apps.

User Suggestions:
1. Choose, or take, photos in which your pet faces you head on. Side and 3/4 views can be difficult.
2. Use the automatic function for mapping your pet’s face. Then add an audio phrase and vocal qualities. Play back the resulting video. If it looks weird, now is the time to fix it by moving crucial dots. Keep at it till you are happy with the results. You’ll learn as you go. Je pense que ça en vaut la peine.

I used to give a five star rating to MyTalkingPet until the latest upgrade which completely ruined it. The voice functionality allowed you to create a unique voice and it has been replaced with canned unpleasant voices that are barely understandable. Totally wrecked it! I had created characters that people identified with and looked forward to that helped with fundraising for my nonprofit rescue. Now they don’t work anymore. Super bad choice, less functionality, I will be canceling my paid membership if this functionality is not restored. It is now totally NOT worth paying for. Super disappointed and super upset. I don’t know who thought this was a good idea but they were wrong.

Liked it so much the first time I used it, I subscribed, and now it won’t do anything. All pictures use the last sound clip used, so I can’t save a favorite clip for use later. Can’t copy and/or save it separately from MyTalkingPet , either.

MyTalkingPet only let me post a clip to Facebook twice, before it stopped letting me share them at all. Nothing can be saved as a separate file from the others. One of my clips posted to my Facebook page, while the other said it did, but it did not.

Support for MyTalkingPet is crap. Citing a known bug they are trying to fix, their only suggestion was to re-boot my phone every time there is a problem. It’s a crappy workaround, but I did try it, nonetheless. It didn’t work. No further suggestions to try, other than that, except that they also said to update my already up-to-date iOS.

Re-booting DOES NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM, not even temporarily. Who has that kind of time to waste, anyway?

My suggestion: Have a little fun with the free app, if you can get it to work. DON’T GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR MONEY! Send them a can of RAID. It’s a bug-infested ripoff.

MyTalkingPet would have gotten a five star rating up until a week ago. I loved, loved, loved MyTalkingPet until they recently eliminated to the ability to change the tone of the voice of the talking or singing pet. They replaced that feature with six or eight voice types that are ridiculously useless. One talks so fast and at such a high-pitched tone you cannot understand it, while another one talks so slowly and at such a low tone it’s annoying! Argghh!!!! 😖

Please bring back the ability to control the tone of the voice with that sliding control.

Originally I purchased My Talking Pet. Then recently when I went back into it, MyTalkingPet said I had to switch to My Talking Pet 2, but that I would get a year’s subscription for free - so I switched. Now the new app tells me after only a few days and a few videos/shares that I have to upgrade to the Pro version. I’m not sure what happened to the Free Year, but oh well. I have clicked on the ‘Subscribe’ button lots of times, but the screen only briefly blinks and nothing happens. I was willing to forget about the free year you promised, but now I can’t even spend the $24 to subscribe. What’s the matter with this function in your app? Please help. If you fix it, I’ll come back in and change my rating because other than these issues, I really do love your app!

Ok so I was enjoying MyTalkingPet with my fam because making my dog talk was really a mystery to them. So made a one of the dogs it provided and tried to save it. And do you know what happened? Well I couldn’t save it!!! All because of some stupid package you can buy. I am not for buying things on apps and spending money that is not even necessary to spend!!! The rest of MyTalkingPet is just fine. Not being able to use the accessories is fine too, but not being able to save and share five photos each is ridiculous. Thanks for reading 😃🐶🐈🐱😀😉😍

PRO: Love how I can give me dog a voice...and make myself and others laugh. What of our pets could talk...what would they say? Baffling because I’ll never really know. We learn to know their behaviors, and craft words with MyTalkingPet that pull out parts of their character. That’s what’s fun.
CON: Don’t like paying a monthly fee for something that will most likely sit until the next time I use it. Would you be willing to charge a fee per use? Like $.99 per 3 images? It would make it a go to as needed app.

I love this game a lot but you can only save and share a video five times and then you have to upgrade to pro which is like 20 $30 and I don’t have that kind of money I need I think you should at least upgrade it till at least 20 videos because these are really funny and I love this game that’s the only thing that I have wrong with this game and if you change that I think more people would get into it so just think about itBut the only cool thing about it is that once you delete it you can re-download it and you get to save it and share it again I already have like a bunch of videos cause I doubt because I deleted it and then re-downloaded it again that’s the good thing about it but I still think you should upgrade it to 20 videos

I really with MyTalkingPet had more voice options, like the crazy helium app. Like the option of a little boys/girls voice, teenage boys/girls voice, parental voices, old wise grandparent voice, etc.
A variety of voices to better represent our pet babies.
MyTalkingPet also works for my kids photos, so that’s a great feature!
Also, it would be nice if you could go back to adjust the facial points without having to start with the process all over again.
Additional voice options like the ones I suggested would do wonders for MyTalkingPet! 4 out of 5 stars though, it’s such a fun app! A huge thanks to the creators, you rock!

At first I loved MyTalkingPet ! It was amazing and so much fun! But then I found out that you couldn’t share it more than five times of the entire time you had MyTalkingPet and you have to upgrade to premium and pay a lot of money just to be able to 1. Be able to share and save it 2. To use cool filters and 3. Be able to actually have fun with it. I really wanted to be able to do this but I am not allowed to use money on a app so there is kind of no point of having MyTalkingPet an I might just delete it if I can’t do anything with it. I do love it is kind of fun though but I really want to be able to save it and use filters. Please read and respond to this and at least make it so that it will save and send!

So much fun! I’ve never laughed so hard!! I’m loving the free version!! Might just have to get the paid version so I can have even more fun!!
Question for the developers: I’ve made two videos so far. First one of my dog. Second one of my cat. When I went back to listen to the dog, it had the cat’s voice and words. Did I do something wrong or is this supposed to happen with the free version? I’m afraid to do more or fix the dog one until I know for sure, because the cat one is PERFECT!!

I was looking for a perfect app to make a movie of Pets (a cheap movie of course) and when I came across an app that sucked! It was the worst, it had bad quality, it said things that it didn’t do and I had to pay. I was looking for an app when I passed this, I saw it and I was like “ it’s Perfect”, I tested it out and even though it’s not the full version I was amazed! This is a amazing app! It’s so good that I might even buy the whole thing because it’s too good!

I have had MyTalkingPet for over 6 -7 years or more, I have taken other photos from my friends and shared with them in messenger and they asked if they could share it on there timeline. I said its your picture, that’s why I sent it in messenger, for you to decide. This is the best app I have ever used. I have experimented wit this and actually had trees, flowers you name it talking. I love send real pictures of me or my animals to family or friends for birthday cards . I have been asked so many times about how I did it, I gave them the name of MyTalkingPet. I just love it. Thank you talking pets for taking that small chance, that turned into a giant dream.

Super cool there is a premium but you can still do almost everything! You can take a picture or use your own. You can also use some of their pictures! You can save and or share your video and can do it on people too! I had a blast using MyTalkingPet! Also it is super easy to use! I definitely recommend it! Also: bonus you can change the pitch of your voice!

I downloaded your app, uploaded a picture of my dog then it started asking questions. Your program asked for my Google password. Right there tells me it's a scam. It didn't put a link on my phone like usual when I download an app??? Now I can't find the app to delete it. There were to many issues with your app. I was really looking forward to using your app but you can't blame me for being worried.?
