Little Ant Colony - Idle Game Reviews

I would like to see the game further in depth as creating an ant colony, as in expanding a colony of workers, builders, queens, etc. not just going back and forth from various foods and a hole with little reward besides a different landscape.

So, I got the new update, so apps ask me if they can track me; I usually say no. This game, I said no to, as well. Why would a game about ants need to track me? Especially when we know most of these apps track you just so they can send you ads that are “relevant” to you… which supports the claim that this game is riddled with ads. Anyway, I’m met with an odd screen telling me they NEED to collect my data because it’s an integral part of the game. Collecting my data is integral to a game about ants? Huh? That makes absolutely no sense. I play plenty of mobile games and none of them have ever claimed they NEED to track me and won’t even let me play the game if they’re not allowed to track me. I’m not sure what kind of game this is, but with something shady like that, I’d rather not play it. Based on the claim that them collecting data is necessary for the game, somehow, I gave it one star. Be careful with who collects your data and why. I certainly know this game doesn’t need to know my data. Too bad because this looked interesting.

It’s a good game, fun to play and makes time zoom by. I pretty quickly opted for the “no ads” purchase, as the ads got incredibly old. I just hope that the devs add some balancing with the perks and dna. It takes absolute ages to get another ant. Ages. So long that your dna development exponentially gets ahead of your usage of the actual dna to get more ants. Making the concept kind of useless. You always have a surplus of dna but it takes you thirty seconds to use barely a fraction of it for 2% of a new ant. That’s frustrating, so I hope they get that re-balanced. And the idle rewards are out of whack as well, The amount that your ants accumulate is insignificant to the amount you need or use. Again, barely a fraction. But, overall a good game. Also looking forward to the addition of new colonies and customizations in future updates.

There’s a lot of obtrusive pop-ups, I don’t care for spending my money. As for the gameplay, I mean it’s a clicker game it’s got the bells and whistles for one, gameplay is generic. On the other hand, there’s something cool about watching the autonomy of ants tearing away at bigger foods, graphics are good. Oh, and pop-ups are super obtrusive, they appear every minute or so, and stop all actions. Overall, it’s a cool little game, but this could be made better by adding a tab for the leveling feature, and putting away pop-up prompts , or just adding a stupid amount of rewards for watching the add. I mean it if your gonna make a clicker, might as well do something different with mechanics, but stick with what works in other clickers.

The progression is kinda meh and in the battle mode once you get the maxed out amount of ants the frame rate is horrid, and occasionally the game miscalculates the enemies health so it softlocks you since all the enemies are dead but they still have health and you have to restart the game to fix it, and it still offers more ants when you’re at max, at the exact same price, so I wasted 30 gems on 15 ants that instantly disappeared as soon as I pressed the battle button, also if you don’t buy no ads having ads on SIGNIFICANTLY slows gameplay so turn WiFi off if you don’t want to die inside, I regret downloading this game because I never have fun playing it but seeing numbers go up is addicting

The graphics are decent and the game mechanics are a good beginning. Needs nerfs and tweaks, but has potential.

Player strategy advice….
Focus on food upgrades with secondary resources going to max limit in the colony… leveling up will fuel everything.
In battles just get your defense level super high and use the 5th and 10th battles to get gems for your colony portion of the game (use them to maximize the rewards for leveling up in the colony).

Game could use pvp aspects of some sort and a bit more depth in the existing facets. The late game is advancing too fast and it appears to get easier as it progresses. I’m finally to a point where it takes longer to tap the extra food button and advance my stats, but it is still easy as can be to beat the levels. I have one more to unlock and then the game is basically done if it stops after the final element on the final level….

The game is easy to start with. Watch your ant collect food and fight other insects. But as you progress to build your colony past level 20, the game slows down. Growing an ant takes a long time. Updating all other areas of the game takes a long time. Plus you have to watch tons of 30 second commercials just to get small upgrades.
I would suggest to speed the reductions out over the higher levels instead of just past level 20.

Way too many ads, this game gives you an ad way too often, not only that but when it gives you an option to watch an ad for something free or to speed up progress and you decline, it makes you watch an ad anyway but you don’t get to have the thing you just declined.
Not only are the ads bad, but my game must of been bugged out because there is no sound for it!
Terrible app I do not recommend it, if you download it just to see if it’s any good, do me a favor make your own review about these problems too.

I never leave reviews. NEVER. But this game is so addicting, however there needs to be an easier way to get more ants without buying the unlimited dna, I could buy it, but then what would be the point of the game? Also would def bump up to 5⭐️ if there was a way we could see the queen and the larvae getting fed from the food that our hard earned worker ants brought them.

I enjoy LittleAntColony. It’s just what I needed to pass the time here and there. It seems like when I’m connected to wifi the ads to get better rewards doesn’t work. However the ads do work after completing the food. When I’m not connected to wifi all the ads work as intended. Overall I’ve been enjoying this game for the time being.

Ok.. so I’m gonna be 100% real This game fun and very relaxing . The Cons : lags tremendously, I’ve bought No Ads and still have to restore each time I reopen my app annnnd not to mention I still have to use ADS ….LIKE COME OOOON !!! Also the ads stay stuck so you basically waste watching ads for nothing and still receive no reward cause of the lag .. HELLO NEW UPDATE PLEASE !!! :-| PLEASE FIX THE GLITCHES ABD THE PURCHASE RESTORING ITS A TOTAL SCAM I STILL HAVE TO WATCH ADS .

Leveled up? Watch a mandatory ad
Raising your attributes while tapping on the upgrade button? Ads replace those buttons randomly and you find yourself in an ad. Every 5 seconds there’s a pop-up notification for something that requires an ad to view. I played this game for 15 minutes and 10minutes of it was spent clicking out of ads or waiting for them to end.

The game is fun to play and is like many other idle games. The problem I find with the game is the crazy amount of ads that appear while playing. I can sit down and play the game for about 15 minutes and have at least 5 ads pop up while I’m playing. That’s not even counting the amount of ads opportunities the game offers. Besides the ads this game is fun to play.

I’ve played a lot of ad supported games but this is the first that takes that to an extreme. To maintain a level of truth in your naming, please consider “Little Ad Colony - Wait Game”. Nearly everything you do, including clicking on the “Continue” button after leveling triggers and an. You’ll even get an ad when you click on “No Thanks” after being offered an ad to do something you don’t want to do. Could not delete this fast enough.

Picked this game out because I thought it would be fun. Didn’t even get to play it because after two days of trying to get it to load on my phone repeatedly, deleting a bunch of other apps on my phone, clearing out my message history and my iCloud data of literally everything in there, and waiting for more than 30 minutes with this stupid app open, I gave up on this trash. Don’t bother downloading🙄

Tbh I love this game it’s addicting and it makes time fly by so much faster!!! My also i had 2 other people download it and they were addicted Whens the next update!!!! And when is the full game released?? :)))

Its an unfinished game full of ads that just points you towards more unfinished games with ads.

The developers response in reviews is to purchase the option to remove ads, but why would i waste any money on a unfinished game that was released just to push ads for other games with more ads.

I will consider changing my review if the devs fix the game and cut back on the amount of ads in it.

This game is great but the only thing I wish it had was a battle mode against other colonies where there’s separate upgrades for your soldier ants, otherwise it’s a fun game

The game seemed like it might have potential but I will never know because I ain’t playing anything that slings an ad in my face what feels like every 30 seconds. I have played a lot of games over the years and rarely have I have come across one that is as aggressive as this one with ads.
