My go to task manage/weekly planner

this app is 100% my favorite todo list manager I have used so far. I really enjoy being able to see my entire week rather than just one day.

The only thing I wish for is to have the items you check complete to automatically move to the bottom of that day’s list so the other incomplete items move up. This would greatly improve the overall experience, especially if you use the widget.

Right now when you check the top item as complete, it still remains at the top in Tweek and the widget. This somewhat wastes the functionality of Tweek . This however is my only complaint. Everything else is fantastic!

A great app for weekly task management

this app is awesome if you don’t really need anything powerful for recurring tasks. I like this app a lot. It has a distinct personality and clear perspective on managing tasks. It turns out it does not match my perspective, so I’ve struggled to use it. For one, there’s not a great way to inbox tasks to later triage. You can, theoretically, add them to “someday,” but this is somewhat tedious (constantly scrolling down, etc). In general, input feels slightly more tedious than it should be when you want to move fast, and woefully incomplete when you need more structure and detail. Also, can set up recurring tasks, but you cannot defer them. When the date is passed for other tasks, you can set them to persist in your subsequent days, which is great. But not recurring tasks, which is less great. In addition to all of that, Tweek (both iOS and web) is buggy in some predictable ways. For example, if you create a recurring task with lots of subtasks, it will crash Tweek . Every time you complete a subtask it will check with you if you want to check that subtask for every future instantiation of that subtask. I get how this could be the case, but it’s not, so I want it to stop. I think what I’m realizing as I type all of this, and I’ll add to the top, is that this app is awesome if you don’t really need anything powerful for recurring tasks.

Updated review score to reflect my satisfaction with a delightful developer response.

The Perfect Simple Setup

I have always struggled to find a planner-style app that I enjoyed. There has always been too many side options, thing-a-ma-bobs and add-ons for me to be able to use it as I intended: in and out of Tweek quickly.

Tweek? Simple as heck. I LOVE that you get multiple “back burner lists” without paying and you really get the intended use out of Tweek without having to pay. If you want the fancy subtasks and syncing thats another story. Looking for clean and simple? This is Tweek for you.

Also- THERES A WIDGET IN EVERY SIZE. Perfect for mini displays and people who need to be able to glance over their schedule every day. Thanks so much this app.

Minimalist planner that keeps me from feeling overwhelmed

I used to love planners that had various bells and whistles and could do all the things (e.g. project manage, toggle between views, link to other tasks, etc.) but as I've gotten busier between parenthood, working full time, starting a business, and life in general, all other planners tended to overwhelm me with too many features, and I would spend more time trying to keep my planner organized than actually keeping to task. this app gives me all the exact features I want to stay organzed without taking much time to do so.

Love Tweek

I have been using this app for over a year now and it has changed the way I approach my tasks & productivity for the day.

I love how the tasks I didn’t finish today automatically roll over to tomorrow. They are continually improving Tweek with search and other speed improvements. I am personally really excited when they will have profiles for teams.

If you are looking for a quick and easy task management system for your weekly planning then this app is the best out there. I highly recommend them and hope Tweek can help you as much as it has helped me.

I love knowing I did everything

I use this as a sort of daily to do list. I don’t pay for the extra stuff on here but it really isn’t needed for Tweek to be good. There is a “some day” thing where you can put things that you don’t know what day you’re doing something. And there are obviously the days of the week. There is also some sub-note thing you can do on the list and I put what I’m planning to cook/specifics there. I love being able to check everything off at the end of the day and being able to plan ahead with this.

Exceptional App

I’ve been using Tweek since the middle of 2024, and it is such an incredible app. I’ve never really liked Google Calendar or other to-do list/calendar apps because everything is so complicated; you have to put in so much information just to create an event. The second I found this app and realized how easy it was, I was blown away and have never gone back to another app. this app is easy to use, minimalistic, and gem after searching for an easy calendar for months. I would strongly recommend it and I hope you love it as much as I do!

☑️My favorite to-do list app

It’s so straightforward, easy to use daily on the phone and to use on laptop/computer. I’m the kind of person who loves Notion but I don’t have the time or energy or care to spend a million hours trying to make it look “aesthetically pleasing”. I need something easy to use and straightforward. The simplistic style and font on Tweek is enough to satisfy me tbh. I hope Tweek doesn’t randomly become popular on social media and then ppl assume I’m only using it cause it’s a “trend”. But Tweek is great I love it. I’ve been using it since 2022 or 2023 and it has never failed to work for me.

BEST WEEKLY PLANNER

I’ve tried every weekly planner out there and this one has actually changed my life. I paid the annual fee which was only like $3.99 and it was so worth it. I get to color customize and have daily, weekly, bi-weekly, etc occurring tasks. I also love how you can make different calendars (I have a my calendar, workout calendar, work related calendar). You can color customize the tasks. My favorite feature is the “someday i will…” here i write anything i’ve been wanting to do but not something I’m ready to put onto my weekly tasks just yet. Anyways, shout out to Tweek I never write app reviews but yall deserve it:) i love you week

Tweek Is Simply Life-Changing

I’ve been using this app for over a year now, and it’s completely changed how I get things done. For years, I struggled with overly complicated to-do apps—ones that made me spend more time setting up tasks and organizing lists than actually crossing things off. But then I found this app, and everything clicked.

Tweek is as close to a paper planner as it gets, but better. It’s simple, clean, and absolutely intuitive. There’s no endless learning curve, no overwhelming features—just a beautifully designed space that helps you stay productive. It’s aesthetically pleasing, easy to use, and it keeps me focused on what matters.

I’ve recommended this app to my classmates because it truly delivers. If you’re tired of apps that feel like work instead of helping you do the work, this app is the answer. It’s not just a to-do list; it’s a productivity tool that actually gets out of your way. Five stars all the way.

Love this

I have been SEARCHING for a planner app that isn’t plagued by pop ups, overwhelming with “track your habits” and “log your sleep”. I love Tweek because it’s literally my planner notes app. So customizable and so easy to use. I literally can put whatever I want wherever I want with as little or as many details I want and only the things that I care about. Plus the premium plan isnt overzealous and forceful. I can actually use Tweek without pop ups and “this is locked for premium users” the minute I win the lottery I’m paying for Tweek. Seriously could not recomend more. INCREADIBLY flexible to all organization, personality, and person types. Thanks guys 🫶🥳

Been looking for an app like this for a long time.

Super user friendly and incredibly helpful for mapping out and visualizing your days. I used the desktop version thinking it would be a one off to plan out how to get caught up on a ton of homework for school, on top of an insanely busy work week. After that week I realized how productive it had been to see everything layed out, and the format is so much easier to use and commit to than the Apple calendar/ todo list or Google planner. Simple but very affective. Thank you for creating Tweek and offering a free option so it is accessible to everyone! Could not speak highly enough of the developers behind this one!

Perfect simple planner

I love this simple bullet journal style planner app. It’s simple and easy to use but packed with features like recurring events, color coding, and calendar sync to make planning simple. Having it sync across Apple devices and a windows computer is so helpful for work/life events and tasks to be all in one place.

The Apple reminders sync sets Tweek above. I can tell siri from my watch to remind me of something, have it show up on my windows computer, check it off and it checks off the reminder in the reminders app as well.

The convenience, ease of use and aesthetic planner makes this one of the best on the market. I also think the price is very fair for premium features.

LOVE - SAVED MY LIFE

There are so many good things I can say about Tweek but I only have time for a few :) okay, first of all, I am that girl who always needs to know what will happen this week and even the week after. So, I always carried around a physical planner because I loved the format and it was easy and simple for me to glance over my whole week (especially school assignments). I refused to go digital because it looked not the same as my notebook with its simplicity, but after hearing about this app, I instantly felt like this was for me. And I was not wrong.

1. Very intuitive and simple. AMAZING format for assignment tracking
2. No rewriting stuff but instead moving it with a swipe! So good
3. I can open it online on a computer while I’m at work and not allowed to use a phone. Or I can access quickly from anywhere. You can’t do that with a paper notebook
4. Tasks automatically can roll over to the next day that are not finished
5. There is a “additional consideration section” that remains consistent through all weeks
6. I just love it. This is my 6th reason. One of the best things I have changed in my routine is adding Tweek in!

Excellent, functional, could use iCal support

this app is a fantastic planner and todo list. It beautifully and functionally replicates how I was tracking tasks in a paper journal - most tasks assigned to a day, with some others in a floating pool.

this app’s UI is well-done, too; the menus are simply designed and very useful, without being cluttered or complex. Your focus is always on the actually important part: Your tasks. The week-centric view is just the right granularity for my use-cases, and there’s a monthly zoom-out view as well.

I’m also a fan of the quality-of-life features. Things like (optionally) sorting completed tasks to the bottom, or rolling over undone tasks to the next day, makes managing a large number of tasks easy. And those are list-specific settings, as well as, so different lists can have different behavior as appropriate.

I do have two criticisms of Tweek . The minor one is that there’s no preview of the different UI densities (“default” and “compact”), so you have to pick one, back out of the settings to see it, and then go back into the settings to change it.

The major criticism is that Tweek supports only Google Calendar integration right now. I would love to have my calendar events reflected in this app, but Apple Calendar (or any other standard iCal-supporting service) is unsupported.

Otherwise, I’m very happy with this app.

I always come back to Tweek

There are so many more feature-filled apps to plan a week, and I continue to use some of them. But to sit down and list everything I need to get done in the week, then drag and drop them until the week makes sense, that's how I use this app. There is nothing better.

Besides it's simplicity, I love that the web app and the iPhone app both allow me to look at pretty much the same thing. On the web app, you can see the week at a glance but even on my smaller iPhone, I can see multiple days on the screen. The point for me when I'm deciding what to plan for each day is to look at the week as a whole. I can scroll through the week, which is helpful. Some other weekly apps make you swipe from one day to the next, which makes dragging and dropping to rearrange tasks to be a little more awkward.

this app is the way to plan the week!

The Only App I Pay For

I very rarely pay for apps. I can probably count the number of apps I've paid for in one hand, but I continue to use the Premium version of this app. It is the to-do list system that I can stick to most consistently. I love that it takes so little time to set up, and I can start using it right away. It's clean, minimal, but at the same time has everything I need. Their customer service support is also very responsive, and I have nothing but great experiences with Tweek. I've recommended it to so many friends.
