Dear Support: I am having a problem with your app on my Windows 10 pc. As of today, I am no longer able to scroll backwards in time in order to catch the most important stories, if I missed them. New app fail :(

Al Jazeera has been the only “clean” news source - trustworthy, factual, relevant. BUT the new app…….no. First, the portrait mode is too frustrating to use on my iPad - it needs to go back to landscape. MORE importantly, there’s now no way to load breaking news or up-to-the-minute reporting that I want to read. Having to wade through a mashup of opinions (🤮), guess content based on a pretty picture isn’t for me. There’s no organization now. I can’t tell if what story I opened is hyperbole or editorial until after I’ve opened it.
I’ve stopped using the app, relying solely on Reuters as my news source. I hope the Al Jazeera developers quickly give us back the old app - it was fabulous: “latest news” categorization and landscape mode on ipad.

First of all if it ain’t broke don’t fix it ! Why do you make a app that that is more difficult to use and then say it is much easier to use ? Make it make sense ! And you can’t find what your looking for compared to the original Al Jazeera English app ( the orange colored app ) fix and update the original and take this nonsense down. The original used too be better esp when looking for older documentaries like Al Jazeera world…. Would have given this app 0 but the lowest is 1 star and it’s not even worth that !

The old app was perfectly fine. Why would they force us to switch from an app that works great to this piss-poor thing tryna combine some unlimited scrolling feature with news. i just wanna see whats hot, read some opinion pieces and then go about my day. who wants to just keep scrolling thru content until they pass out? Please bring the old one back.
