I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I have iOS 14.3 installed. I installed moloko on my phone and installed a theme. I have tried every theme, almost all the icons, they all still go through the short cuts app. I have removed the themes, reinstalled them and same thing. Tried deleting moloko and reinstalling moloko then reinstalling the themes, and still goes through the short cuts app.

Have no idea why it works for some people but doesn’t work for my phone.

I purchased a new iPhone 12 Pro Max which is smooth and has amazing speed. Just came across moloko and I love the concept. Icons look great and it seemed simple to install and use. The problem is, it uses “Shortcuts” to function. With the stock icon, I press it and the application opens up instantly. With this app I press an icon then a blank window opens and closes then the shortcut app opens and closes then moloko opens. Clunky in operation and not up to par with new phones. Sadly uninstalled.

I love the icons and think they are clever and cute, however, there appears to be a glitch. When I click on an icon (Phone, for example) it opens Shortcuts and then closes it and then the phone screen appears. Selecting the Camera does the same thing, opens Shortcuts, immediately closes it and then the camera opens. It doesn’t do it with every icon but with most.

I really wanted to love this because it’s such a clever idea. :(

While I appreciate moloko and really love the themes, when I downloaded it, all it did was add extra apps with the theme instead of replacing the actual apps with that theme that were already there. All of a sudden I had this mess of extra buttons all over the place, and since I’m one of those people who like to keep my phone neat and organized so I can find the apps I need easier, it freaked me out a little. moloko does have a lot of potential though, if they can just fix that issue, I’ll definitely download and use it.

Some of the icon packs are absolutely amazing and really change the look of the home screen.. however they all re-direct to shortcuts app and then to the actual app itself.. it’s all just too clunky to use on a daily basis… I’m using an iPhone 12 so maybe that’s the problem, unnoticed other iPhone 12 users with similar issue.. giving 3 stars for icon artwork, I really wanted this to work..

Love moloko and has huge potential, but is limited by Apple not fully optimizing custom icons. Here are some issues (note: I’m using a 12 pro). Some icons go through the shortcuts apps while others don’t. This can somewhat be solved by reducing motion but that’s not an ideal solution (the experience on the iPhone becomes less smooth) and sometimes, some icons will still go through shortcuts even with the reduced motion. Additionally, when opening an icon, there’s a sign on the top left that makes you go back to something called “untitled” and it’s big enough to be a bother. Next, when opening the apple weather icon, it prompts me to add an unnamed city everytime. I have to cancel the prompt everytime I want to see the weather. The potential for moloko is huge and if these issues are solved, it would be groundbreaking. I support moloko and will look out for it as improvements are made.

I literally have one request and if you guys can fulfill this. This will literally be the best app ever. I was hoping you guys can have the icons to where I can download them to my camera roll, and add them myself. I have an application to where I can customize icons without shortcuts. So if I were to be able to just download the pictures that would be ultimately way better. Only complaint I have is, how many shortcuts moloko puts on my home screen, things I really don’t even have. That’s all! Keep up the good work!

When I downloaded moloko , the features were amazing. There are so many themes to choose, and they’re great quality. I was so excited to get some new app icons for my phone. It downloaded, and I experimentally tapped on one, but didn’t directly bring me to moloko . There was a redirect - my phone is updated to iOS 15 so I’m not sure if that has to do with it. Is there a way you can fix this? Other than that, it’s perfect.

moloko looks great, but is missing a feature that would really help the user decipher which themes they want to check out, based on the amount of apps they have installed. Can you please implement icon quantity detection, so that when someone uploads a theme, it displays how many (100, 500, 1000+) icons are included in a theme? Some themes have the icon count in their description, but a lot don't.

Loving moloko, my only “grit” with it, is that the custom icons do not have notification dots. I’m not sure if this is a bug, or can’t be done from how the icons are changed, but I’ll learn to live with it, at least until there is another way to theme icons with the notifications on the icon!

moloko is amazing but unfortunately there is a huge flaw with my version. Whenever I go to try and download any theme and install the profile, there is always missing one or two bookmarks like the mail or calendar bookmark. I have no clue how to fix this m. Please help.

So I have moloko on my iPhone, and it’s amazing! The UI, easy to navigate, and more! But my one flaw is that it doesn’t support iPad... well it does, but it isn’t optimized if that makes sense. They’re huge black bars around the top, sides, and the bottom! But overall, moloko is great! Just optimize it for iPad.

The darker black icons are perfect! Only question in on the screenshots on the downloads page it shows icons that aren't there when you install the profiles. Exe. Chrome, Google photos ?

I’ve been through so many different ways of trying to create icons and find the best icon packs and etc. But moloko knocks all that over. Everything is right there just install apply and go!

For starters, moloko is amazing. Not even including how convenient it is not to use apple shortcuts for your icons pack, but the packs in moloko are some of the best I’ve ever seen, taking my iPhone Home Screen to the next level.

Coupled with Widgetsmith, you can make the best ever iPhone Home Screen. And if you’ve ever tried to do the Apple shortcuts method for doing icons, this app’s use of profiles might save you 30min of repetitive work that, tbh, takes the fun out of having an icon pack.

So, don’t waste ur time, and download moloko because I guarantee you will be happy.

To the developers: thank you sooooo much!!!! I don’t know how grateful I am for moloko, it is simply the best app I’ve downloaded in like forever in the purpose of customizing my home screen since the release of iOS 14.

I’m not one to write reviews, but moloko actually works the way you want it, it doesn’t send you to moloko via transitions, it doesn’t need a subscription, and its seemless and smooth if it does send you to moloko , again I don’t write reviews, but for moloko, it is GREAT for themes!!!

And even the word "wonderful" is not enough for moloko in every way moloko is amazing 😻 Thank you very much for making moloko so good and complete. But it would be great if the number of new messages that came to us was indicated on the icons of app like telegram or WhatsApp or something 😻

I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max and when I pick one of your themes it actually wants to download it but that’s not how it should work it should say that it needs to make a configuration file and then I should be able to go to General and then profile how do I get that to work

I’ve been waiting forever for an App like this. I knew it had to be a way to do this without all the silly jump through hoops to just have a nice looking set of icons that worked in the way they should on my iPhone instead of looking clunky. Thank You💕🙏

Upon downloading this application, I feared I would come across a screen in which you would have to pay but to my surprise, I didn’t! As I progressed throughout the application, I explored the many themes this application offers until I found one I fell in love with. The themes are just absolutely gorgeous and work surprisingly well. Amazing app.

So I just got moloko and I already love it!
So I’m just suggesting a future update, I want to be able make your own packs.

Sometimes there's a delay, some times there isn't. Over all, very good

My only issue is some themes have a bad profile error. Hope you fix that in future updates :)

moloko is phenomenal!! I love all of the themes and the best part is that the ‘bookmarks’(what they are called) OPENS moloko WITHOUT SHORTCUTS!! how amazing is that?! Ever since iOS 14 came out I’ve been so indecisive about making shortcuts for my apps or not. Now with this really awesome phenomenal app, I don’t have to be indecisive anymore!!!! Whoever created moloko, you are a freaking genius!! Please continue to update your themes!!
