Scheduled my mother and various other family members for first and second vaccines. Today I get an email from this app with my mother’s name saying she has an appointment at a second location three hours away on a different day. The appointment I scheduled for her is still listed. For Pfizer when she’s Moderna. We never scheduled this second appointment. My concerns are for privacy and safety of anyone using ArmorVax. How did someone get my email and my mother’s name to set up a second appointment when she’s already scheduled for her legit appointment? This is dangerous and I have calls into our local health department to see just why this happened. I took screen shots of our appointments in case I find out someone is accessing my account and starts messing around with our information. Why don’t you have a red flag system that would have prevented this from happening? I was able to cancel the appointment we didn’t make on ArmorVax so it’s gone. I want to know how come someone made a second appointment in my mother’s name three hours away in another county for a totally different vaccine?

Primary insurance is Medicare there is no policy number or group number for Medicare. Secondary insurance is Medical Mutual they do not provide policy number only group number. You need to fix this immediately. Your Primary Insurance page will not let you skip this and go one to the next page. No everyone has one one insurance company.

The reply that they added a selection to skip the insurance information does not resolve the main issue. The insurance selection page was not updated to deal with Medicare as the primary insurance. Medicare does not have policy numbers or group numbers. The supplemental insurance also does not provide policy numbers. Additionally there is no way to contact the software developers. The only contact on the AmorVax web site is for marketing contact. I am not interested in their marketing. Very disappointed with the company web site as they seem to only be interested in selling this product and not fixing it.

Forget all of the negative reviews you’re reading. I’ve used this and have had no issues whatsoever. It’s very simple and straight forward. You put in the information and you can search up to 40 miles from your location. You can even use it to schedule other family member’s appointments.

Of course you’re going to see there are no appointments if, news flash here, there are none. I used ArmorVax to schedule my 1st and 2nd shot. I just refreshed it several times that day and as soon as they opened up new appointments I was able to schedule it. I was actually able to use ArmorVax to get my appointments before they announced it on the news (I had my choice for multiple days and times).

Another plus, it digitally stores your vaccine shot, date, lot number, etc. I’m sure this is going to be something nice to have as vaccine passports are being discussed.

Let’s stop expecting a miracle folks and place the blame where it most likely belongs… On you!!!!

It’s thanks to ArmorVax that my whole household was able to get the vaccine the first day we were eligible.

Once your information is in ArmorVax , it’s saved - so you don’t have to spend time filling out a form to schedule an appointment, only to discover it was booked by someone else by the time you finish.

If it looks like there aren’t any slots available ever, it’s because they fill up very fast. Check ArmorVax frequently. Also, try entering different cities in the map search box and you may find openings for the vaccine outside of your 40-mile radius (you need to do this manually, it does not load options by moving the map screen to different areas - suggestion for an update, this app?)

All in all though, the process of booking the COVID vaccine is efficient once you know how it works and has been the reason many people I knew have been able to get it promptly. Thank you!

In addition to app not working during registration process; the “required” info should NOT be required to register just to locate a vaccine. Your requires a physical address to mail a claim firm; my company doesn’t provide that on the back of the card. I called them and they said they would talk to the medical provider to explain how to submit electronic version. So, your app is not correct and aborts the registration process if you don’t add all of this data not even required! I’m checking to see if gathering that data is even legal by a third party vendor? I’ve deleted everything to do with ArmorVax and advising our State Attorney General Office regarding concern with ArmorVax/site link. Doesn’t work and questionable....

Installed app at 9am and scheduled appointment at 11am for my family. Works great. Without this app not sure if I could get vaccine so quickly. I had option to pick moderna, Pfizer and J&J. I chose Pfizer. Vaccination process was flawless and quick. Went to Duke convention center in Cincinnati downtown. In and out in 20 mins(15 mins was observation period after vaccination). Everything from start to end was great. Everyone at Cincinnati health dept were super helpful and courteous.

My county’s vaccination scheduling was run through ArmorVax. Downloaded and entered in the information it asked for (needed some help from Google as their questions didn’t align directly with the information on my insurance card, but it worked out.) and got my appointment scheduled. Wasn’t too bad and ArmorVax responds quickly and works well. Pleasantly impressed.

I got an appointment shortly after downloading ArmorVax , and it’s pretty easy to use. It does ask for a lot of information, but thankfully I had all of it from my insurance. It keeps saying no appointments are available whenever I try to schedule my husband for a vaccine, though. And his brother scheduled one just a few minutes beforehand. I think it’s buggy but I’ll work through it.

The first time I tried searching it couldn’t find any appointments within 40 miles of me. Ok, fine, maybe there weren’t any. A few hours later I go back and now it says I’ve already scheduled an appointment & will have to cancel it to schedule a new one! This is news to me! Great news, if it were true and I had any idea where and when this magic appointment was. No other info given, nowhere to get help w ArmorVax or any kind of support. I’ll take my chances checking every pharmacy individually I guess.

Had absolutely no problems using ArmorVax. I don’t understand the negative reviews. Yes sometimes it says no appointments available, BUT that’s happens when there are no appointments available. Just keep checking back in with ArmorVax . ArmorVax worked perfectly for me and now I have a record of my vaccines on my phone.

I installed ArmorVax on Friday afternoon and inserted all the details requested, related to my identity and my health. I Saturday morning I found a provider and scheduled my first shot pretty closed to me (about 10 mins) - on Tuesday I got my shot and I’ve already scheduled my second one (the second one was scheduled for me on the spot, by a human).
Briefly, it worked for me: five stars!

ArmorVax was okay for me because I skipped my insurance information. I have to use ArmorVax to get the vaccine through my school. The only problem that I had was that I was notified for my appointment the day before it was scheduled. This caused a panic because I thought I had missed my appointment before realizing that the notification was messed up and my appointment was indeed the next day. My friends with ArmorVax had the same problem and almost went a day in advance before realizing this mistake.

All these negative reviews are simply not true. Of course there will be appointments unavailable. Everybody is trying to get vaccinated. You have to stay vigilant and check back every day. I’ve been doing that for 3 days, and now I have an appointment!!! Whooooooo!!!!

I too was confused by the application process at first. Fortunately I skipped the insurance part. It is confusing because some places you go to get a vaccination want insurance information, and some county run places do not need insurance info.

ArmorVax asks for way too much information-you should not have to jump through hoops to try to get an appointment. I did everything only to be told no vaccinations available. You should be able to find an appointment and then add your information- this is just a grab for information and it’s worthless because it doesn’t even tell you if ArmorVax covers your area

Had an appointment scheduled within 10 minutes of downloading ArmorVax . Choose SKIP when you get to the medical insurance part and ArmorVax works fine.

Probably the worst app I’ve ever used. Worthless and to think Medina County Ohio is the only county that uses this. Completely wasted my time filling in my information. Search doesn’t work at all. When you turn off location services, ArmorVax thinks I’m in Africa... yes the continent of Africa? I think it will only find the Medina County Board of Health location is when you’re at that location. -5 stars

They request way way way to much info for an app to schedule a vaccine.
You can find a Flu shot without any info, it for some reason I cannot proceed without given them all my insurance policy information.

I’ll give my insurance info to the site, I don’t want to give it to random app company, who knows what you do with it.

Sorry no, I’m not creating an account for some company I know nothing about, what they do with information and for them to potentially sell to everybody. So it’s a no from from me. My local health department still takes appointments over the phone, the better way to go.
