I can’t even use it once. I have tried deleting it, reinstalling, closing it and then opening again. And it still freezes the instant it opens and won’t let me draw, search, or go to the help section. I though DeTeXt would be good with the amount of good reviews I’ve seen. But I can’t even get it to function once. Thumbs down, sorry.😐👎🏻

Very nice, fast, easy to use, but seems to omit some common suggestions, like \mathbb for doublestruck letters. When this is corrected, my rating will go up as well.

I have wasted so many hours scouring the big list of LaTeX math symbols to find the one I was looking for.

DeTeXt saves me ten minutes every time I need to remember what the name of that obscure binary operator is again. Thank you!

I’m very proud of my beautiful son for making DeTeXt. In my day, latex was used for little red balloons from the carnival and gloves to wear when cleaning the floors with lye! Now it’s used for computers or something… anyhow DeTeXt works great!

Only issue: I wouldn’t mind a tip jar so I can give you a few bucks as a thank you ;-)

With a simple approach and design, DeTeXt works perfectly. So far, I’ve had no issues with pattern recognition.

DeTeXt comes handy when you are looking for a symbol command in LaTeX. it’s well designed and helpful. thanks.

Some difficulty with more complex symbols, virtually zero issues.

Tbh the best companion app aiding in my current thesis. Love the fact that it’s Open Sourced as well :D
