Crashes immediately

2022-05-22

AlohaSafeAlert crashes the second I open it. Reinstalled, restarted phone, made sure updated nothing works it still crashes.

Alohasafealert

2022-06-23

Due to the download 12.5 version and i cannot find it in the setting area

Gives vague exposure info

2022-07-24

I got my first notification last night that said I encountered someone in a 3 day period that has test positive for Covid-19. I clicked on the notification and it took me to AlohaSafeAlert and I found no additional information. It would be more useful to give a location and timeframe within the hour of exposure. I have been in many places & 3 different cities over the 3 day timeframe that AlohaSafeAlert states. So with such a wide timeframe, I cannot make a good judgement on when the best day is to get tested.

Drains Battery!!! Pls fix it!

2022-08-25

AlohaSafeAlert drained my iPhone battery significantly. I had to uninstall AlohaSafeAlert because my phone kept shutting off due to low battery power.

App always broken!

2022-09-26

AlohaSafeAlert always needs to be erased then downloaded again when I try to check it.

Please update your app

2022-10-27

It’s been 6 months since you updated your app. If you get a notification from your phone you’ve been exposed, you’re suppose to be able to open your app and it will give you more info. We’ll AlohaSafeAlert hasn’t been updated for months, it doesn’t even open anymore. I tried my wife’s phone and app too. Doesn’t work. If you’re going to roll out a statewide app for something important like your health, keep AlohaSafeAlert updated, especially in a pandemic

Help!

2022-11-28

I have AlohaSafeAlert for vacation and it crashes before it can even open. since i downloaded it and still to this day, the crashing has been so consistent that ive still never seen the inside of AlohaSafeAlert .....

App Not Working

2022-12-29

AlohaSafeAlert used to work but for the last month or more all I get is a white screen. I was able to reload it once, but not at all now. At the time when we need AlohaSafeAlert more than ever it’s useless.

Not Notified When Family Member Tested Positive

2023-01-30

AlohaSafeAlert didn’t notify me at all when one of my family members tested positive. That family member even uploaded and shared their positive results with AlohaSafeAlert, but I still got no notifications.

Need watch compatible app please!

2023-03-03

I’m unable to carry my phone on me at work, and I’m sure I’m not the only one; if it was apple watch compatible it would be infinitely more practical.

Feel safer but battery drains

2023-04-01

I feel safer but since installing my battery drains quickly, too quickly. My battery easily used to last all day but now it only lasts half a day. Will probably uninstall.

Please open this to all of Hawaii

2023-05-03

This is a much needed app for more than just the pilot areas in Hawaii. Please start having people use this statewide. This would be helpful everywhere.

Roll it out to the entire state

2023-06-03

Don’t delay in rolling this out to the entire state. We needed this months ago.

Better late than never.

2023-07-05

Uses the proper decentralized protocol as well.

It’s About Time

2023-08-05

I’ve been waiting for Covid tracking to become available to us locally.

About time

2023-09-06

OMG finally state of Hawaii.

Finally!

2023-10-08

Such an important tool to help our economy reopen safely and keep kamaʻāina safe. Look forward to being alerted if I was near someone that tests positive. Love that it keeps everyone anonymous and respects privacy. Mahalo for launching.

Better late than never

2023-11-08

Now the DOH has got to include the entire state. They had to start somewhere and Lanai made sense but we need it statewide as soon as possible
Congrats to DOH for getting it started as overwhelmed as it is.

Secure, and much needed

2023-12-10

If you believe contact tracing can help contain COVID-19 (and it can), trust this privacy focused app over an overworked state employee to keep track of your fully-anonymized close contacts. The science and the public health benefits are sound, no matter what your crazy uncle says.

Looks good like other countries

2024-01-10

I have experience using one other COVID app for a different country, and this seems the same - a reliable way to trace contacts without sharing location. Please roll this out and skip the pilot program. It’s working in much bigger areas.

Crashing

2024-11-17

AlohaSafeAlert keeps crashing. Will not even open

This App Needs Maintenance!

2024-11-17

I can’t even open AlohaSafeAlert .

Must carry phone around to work

2024-11-17

Its hard to tell if an app works or not. You must carry your phone with you all the time and more people need to use it as well. However due to my line of work, in the medical field, I am unable to carry my phone every single moment. Thats why I have an apple watch, because its on me for 15+ hours a day. Now if AlohaSafeAlert is compatible for it then I could give it a real rating. And we need more Hawaii people to download it.

Good morning. I have an iPhone X, 13.5, and have downloaded the AlohaSafe Alert app successfully. When I try to load it, it opens for 0.5seconds, and then closes/fails. I have done this multiple times, have re-started the app (after killing the running process), and have downloaded, restarted the phone multiple times. I travel to Maui soon, and hope/need to get it working. In the AppStore, it shows as working/compatible with my phone's setup and configuration. Thanks for guidance on what is the issue.
