I never got past signing in to try ConnectSmartMobility . I was ok with providing my name and email, but not my mobile number (they rejected a google voice number).

When using Apple ID just returns you to log in. Gets network error and can’t log in. Extremely buggy. Never did get logged in.

I loaded this in September 2022 and keep testing it from time to time. I send comments to the developers (routing through closed gates and fenced areas, routing on freeway frontage roads instead of immediately adjacent parallel trails and residential streets, incorrect placement of addresses) and these flaws have not improved. The battery drain seems lower but I don’t know if that’s ConnectSmartMobility or me scrapping my iPhone 8. I need to check if it is still giving ETA of hours as I approach my destination; that may be fixed. To summarize, I am ashamed of the poor performance of my tax $. I expected better of them.

After learning about ConnectSmartMobility while watching the news I decided to try it. I downloaded ConnectSmartMobility and started the process of trying to login. Well, that was short lived since it took approx 32 mins to receive a phone verification code. It only allows 30 secs to input a code before asking to resend. By the time you get the code, 30+ mins later and try to add it, your time has expired. I tried this multiple times just to see if I needed to do something different but got the same result. I can’t get past this step to even create an account. Maybe this should be tested again, fixed and updated.

I tried to create an account but after entering required info the submit button remained disabled.

Accurate directions. However, drained by battery when in use. Uninstalled ConnectSmartMobility .

All of my purchased tickets disappeared when I purchased them before hand

App refuses to let me set up my account. It freezes during set up when I type in a new password!
Terms & Conditions refuses to open. My such misery so early on? 🤮

Since taxpayers paid 18 million dollars for this expensive app, I don't understand why you have to provide an email address AND phone number to use it. NO ONE WANTS TO SHARE THEIR PHONE NUMBER TO USE AN APP!!! We have enough scammers and robocallers calling as it is and right from the beginning you expect users to trust you with our personal information. No thanks!

Tried to sign up 3 times. It keeps asking for phone number but never received verification text message!!!

ConnectSmartMobility is great, exactly what we need here in Houston! The only thing is it keeps crashing even when just doing simple tasks like putting in an address to start navigating. Not reliable enough for me to choose over Apple or Google Maps yet, but I hope to see some updates address this and other user issues!

Finally registered. Played with ConnectSmartMobility but haven’t gone anywhere yet.

I try to use ConnectSmartMobility as often as possible. There are some problems for sometimes it will not open. Additionally, there are times when I have to log in multiple days in a row for us with my other apps on iPhone, they open immediately. I really want it to open when I click ConnectSmartMobility . I think that when it doesn’t open, requires me to sign in again, that means a new update has been sent out. Not sure just a guess.

I’ll keep using it trying it out, but when I am leaving town, I’m gonna be using my Apple Maps.

I really like ConnectSmartMobility! It shows a lot more accuracy than others when it comes to routes during rush hour.

ConnectSmartMobility does a good job of putting all of the services from the various traffic agencies in Houston under one app. There's a good bit of planning involved in what the developer has achieved here and it's pretty impressive to say the least. All that said,I believe the application could use some updated maps since there are a few instances where streets that don't exist are skewing suggested routes. I've also noticed that seeing walk speed preferences don't change the projected time it takes to walk to a bus stop. There's a lack of live bus arrival updates, something the default apple maps app handles really well and sometimes bus routes don't even show up as an option when apple maps suggests them readily. Overall this is better than the metro app but not by much. I also use ConnectSmartMobility for cycling directions and with the exception of the times when it tries to send me down roads that aren't there, it works pretty well in this cycling-hostile city.

ConnectSmartMobility still missing the Apple Car Play & Android Auto features

Love ConnectSmartMobility! Apple Maps used to be my go to until I found out about ConnectSmart, I can do everything all within one app

I was pleased to find out that I can buy my metro tickets in ConnectSmartMobility AND keep them in ConnectSmartMobility Wallet until I am ready to use it!! So much easier

Purchasing coins is no longer a problem. Love ConnectSmartMobility . Small daily rewards for using ConnectSmartMobility and able to use it to buy tickets for the Houston METRO busses.

If you get tired of circling the block looking for parking, this is your app right here. You can check out all of the nearby lots to see how much space they have, how much they cost, etc. It navigates you to the lot then the rest of the way on foot after you park. Very cool!

Please add CarPlay and android auto support to allow more users. Looking forward for update. Thank you.

ConnectSmartMobility is easy to use and help me understand the transportation service. 👍🏻

ConnectSmartMobility has very useful functions for mutimodel transportation.

This is a wonderful app. I’m so glad someone told me bout ConnectSmartMobility.

All I have to say is, I don’t know how I traveled in Houston without ConnectSmart.

An alternative to google that covers driving navigation, carpool, public transit and bike. Love it is local and aim to help Houston less congested!

Great app to help me navigate around Houston. With dynamic cycling routes and the ability to purchase transit tickets within ConnectSmartMobility my transit around Houston is smooth, simple and easy!
