But... it’s not working out well.. there is far more raiders than people willing to do the simple task of hosting, sure Covid is a factor, but it’s not the only one. There’s also 1000’s of players running macro’s to join raid parties, if your using GOTrainerChat as intended you’ll have a hard time being fast enough to be one of the first 5 to join. 90% are full before ya even see it, the remaining are full before before you can confirm joining. GOTrainerChat needs a system where you can only join so many raids, before you need to host one, maybe even a daily limit if you can’t/won’t host one. Sorry... but generally speaking people are lazy and take the easy way out and it’s hurting GOTrainerChat.... I watch it at work, and there up to an hour between offered raids (worst case), there’s definitely busy and slow periods of the day, but ya’d think that wouldn’t happen with an app and game that span the world...

LOVE the concept of GOTrainerChat. There are only a few small frustrations but other than that it’s great!
Here’s some suggestions to help make GOTrainerChat better:
1. The ability to kick someone from the lobby. Some people just won’t send an invite for 5+ minutes wasting everyone’s time. Sometimes I even have to start the raid without them.
2. A “Raid Invites Sent” button that would notify the chat that the host has sent invites and would also close the lobby from the raid page so no one joins it.
3. A refresh button for the raid page so I can keep refreshing to try and join an raid.

I’d give GOTrainerChat a higher rating if it weren’t for the fact that I can’t join a single popular raid because the raid room is always full before I can even click on the room. It shows up, I go to click on it to join, and by the time I click it says something like “Oops, someone else pressed the fingers very fast, there is no invitation left in this room please try another room” almost like GOTrainerChat itself is taunting me. It’s honestly frustrating and something should be done to fix this and give people a better opportunity to join raids rather than spend hours on end trying to join raids because they can’t click faster.

We don’t get very many raids by our house. It’s awesome to be able to not only have raids but to be able to make new friends from all over the world to battle with!!!
BUT... my fun ended. GOTrainerChat logged me out somehow and I am unable to log back in with my email and password. There isn’t a reset available. We emailed the problem and got a link to reset. When I tried it said the link expired. The response with the link did arrive within 61/2 hrs. I’ll try again. I’m hoping there will be a way to fix this bug!

I had this once before but uninstalled because of the raids at that time. But I wanted to get back online to capture better pokemon than I already have. The notifications are quick and I don’t mind the waiting but when a host makes a Raid and then just goes offline… I wish their was a way that the next trainer up can then host the raids to keep the flow going… other than that… everything else seems okay for now

Totally love the concept of being able to add from all over. However I would love it if you were able to kick people out of the chat if they are either not responding or not cooperating with sending friend request to the host. Also think there should be a way to close the raid itself but keep the chat! Or be able to message people separately!

My husband found GOTrainerChat when we realized some of the “new” PoGo raid bosses were region locked. We’ve been able to acquire all of them with GOTrainerChat! Great concept, and executed wonderfully!
I’d also like to point out that there was a small bug within GOTrainerChat that was causing the raids to not refresh, so I emailed the developer, and not only did I get a quick response, but the bug was fixed. :)

This is the worst app do not get it. I have wasted so many remote passes with GOTrainerChat because no one who joins does the raid. They leave you high and dry and you need a way to regulate or report trainers who do that. I’m tired of starting a raid getting 6 people in then only two doing it with me. At least give a way for the host to report that trainer so they are flagged or can get booted, because then it makes it so people who would actually do the raid can’t join and actually help. 0 out of 5 if I could, because of the stupid situations and experiences I’ve had

There are a few QOL improvements that GOTrainerChat could use as well as being a little slow sometimes.

GOTrainerChat also NEEDS a way to report people and remove them from GOTrainerChat . Just encountered a player using horrible racist profanity who needs to be removed ASAP.

This has been an amazing app to use if you need to complete raids for research - or if you just like to fight in raids! An extra plus if you get a shiny! Easy to use and notifications get you quick access in a raid room to join a team! But be quick - those rooms fill up FAST!

Excellent except it allows the person setting up the raid room to check boosted weather the raid is boosted or not. Boosted should automatically be determined by the screen shot taken to set up the room. To many trainers lie or just don't know what they are doing.

We absolutely love GOTrainerChat, when a pokemon is new toba raid is hard to get in but after a fee days the traffic calms down and so you can get im raids easily. I recommend it 100% , I used to use facebook pokemon raiding groups to raid but it was soooo difficult to get in I switched to GOTrainerChat and man I am hooked ! 🤩🤩🤩

By the time i hit yes when it asks if i wanna join, room is already filled up.
They must work on improving more chance to join raids. Stop asking twice if i wanna join, nobody would click the room just to ask if i wanna join that wastes time to prevent you joining the room.
What do you mean if i wanna join? No wonder i clicked on it to join! No need to waste critical time to join the raid by asking if I’m sure I wanna join lol

Good way to get into raids remotely, but nothing verifying “weather boost” when room host says it is. Many hosts say it’s weather boosted just to get people to join. Then you use a remote pass join the raid and find out they lied and it’s not boosted.
There needs to be a way to report violators so they get suspended from starting raid rooms or eventually banned completely if that continues.

It’s an awesome app but it needs to be fixed, because I tried to find tier 1 and 3 star raids and it only showed me tier 5 and mega raids. Also I wish we could send pictures and have other ways to communicate to each other about other raids too.

I love GOTrainerChat, and it doesn’t disappoint. This fix all the confusion of the raid system and help you find people to raid with. I did a raid and everyone send a friend request, I copy their name down, and we destroyed that Pokémon. I recommend if you want to raid.

Only thing that I’m struggling with is on iPhone 8 I have no notification sound. I get sounds from all other apps and Sounds are turned on in the specific app setting.

I have several accts on my phone and when I switch accounts it doesn’t register. I get out of app and get back in I’ve tried rebooting my phone information is correct but GOTrainerChat doesn’t k ow I’ve changed accounts for some reason and people get invalid message when it should be valid.
Can’t raid when it does this

First time I join a raid, it went great! I joined another one and the host left the game and all of us didn’t get in the raid? I wasted a remote raid pass. Looking to report host, I couldn’t find one . GOTrainerChat was referred to me from a friend, but so far I like poke genie, since it guarantees me playing a raid and it ask how was it afterwards... need to ban host if they just leave during a game. Disappointed user. Will only use GOTrainerChat at last resort.

I do like the fact that you can communicate with others for assistance on raids. Although it would be cool if you can keep a chat room with those who accepted your friend invite. That way you can message or get a message for another raid, and not run out of room in your friends list.

I live in a small town and all my friends work opposite shifts of me. It’s hard to coordinate raids. GOTrainerChat helps tremendously with me being able to win raids. Would love to see regionals in raids so that we really can “catch em all”.
