I took these photos at home, the photos were approved, and then the local printer wouldn’t print them because they said the face was too zoomed in and the lighting wasn’t good enough. Of course, SmartphoneiD doesn’t give money back unless they print themselves — so I’m out of luck there — but why would SmartphoneiD approve less than stellar photos? They should not have approved them, because now I’m out the money. Beware.

Tried multiple times and photos keep getting rejected for “not looking at the camera” when we looked directly in the lens every single time. Do not waste your money. Pretty sure we got scammed.

This is a total scam. We never got our pictures and when we asked for a refund they deleted any history of my order. Do not get your pictures through SmartphoneiD!

I absolutely hate being scammed and wasting my time. SmartphoneiD is NOT free, the download is free. SCAM!

Unfortunately, the photo came out grainy and unusable when printed. Would not recommend and will not use again.

Used to take a photo for a United Kingdom passport. SmartphoneiD forwarded the photo and it was passed as suitable. Went to use the photo on the UK Passport Office online application service and the photo was rejected as unsuitable. Total waste of time and the $7.99 fee.

All this does is tell you if a photo will meet requirements. It does absolutely nothing other than analyze a picture. No editing, no shadow removal, no background removal, nothing. You’d be better off giving five dollars to a five year old and asking them to help you.

6 hour window to receive digital photo.

I purchased passport photos and asked them to be mailed in August. It’s mid October and I still haven’t received them. I’ve reached out multiple times and although they respond, I still didn’t get them

Will have you upload multiple times. Taking a 2 hour window that declines your photo and some suggestions. Than you follow all suggestions and the photo you input magically disappears and they revert back to the ones that were declined. I submitted in to the “help” chat and received no communication back. Save your time, money, energy, somewhere else

Don’t bother.It’s been four weeks and I don’t have my pictures. Just go to Walgreens.

Canada will not accept any photos from digital apps like this. There is no stamp of guarantee on the back of the photos. Waste of money

Three weeks to send out photos is unacceptable. And the quoted price is false advertising because in the end, it still costs $11 for two tiny pictures. Would have given one star, but bumped it to two because SmartphoneiD is actually well done and easy to use.

SmartphoneiD has fluctuating prices each time you open it. I opened it once it said $6, then $8, then $11. I don’t like that.

SmartphoneiD falls short in its current state by lacking support for proRAW mode and a mirror front camera feature. Enhancing user experience could involve enabling proRAW mode for photos or allowing users to upload their own images, especially considering the promised professional verification. This improvement would contribute to a more versatile and user-friendly photography experience.

SmartphoneiD was easy and quick to use

Living in USA getting the required photo “code” to renew my British Passport was a problem. SmartphoneiD came to my rescue and was so easy to use and within hours I received the photo approval and “code” needed for Gov.com. I highly recommend SmartphoneiD!
