It seems to track quite well in terms of coordinates, though I’m still trying to figure out if it can more automatically identify the business names and locations I’m visiting. In the future, I would hope to see retrospective logs accessible to the customer regardless of the plan they choose, or perhaps a monthly plan for it. I was confused and accidentally signed up for the wrong plan, but it turned out just fine in the end. The MileageWise team seems like a small business, so happy to support their vision and their livelihood making it come true. Another thing I like is that I can access this on my phones and on the Web dashboard. In general, MileageWise is a strong competitor in the area of mileage tracking, especially for small businesses.

I've been using MileageWise since April 2024 and am happy with how helpful it has been in organizing, tracking, and recording all my drive time data. To start with, I used their mileage log recovery. This program was able to take my Google Timeline and turn the information into an actual usable mileage log. This led me to purchasing their on-going tracking system for life. I am very happy with it. Not only has it been easy to use, but it definitely has helped me stay organized. I haven't experienced any crashes while using it, nor have I noticed MileageTracker eating through my battery. My wife greatly appreciates that it isn't tracking my every move, as it only logs my arrival locations. MileageTracker allows for easy editing and quick changes, which I also appreciate greatly. My experience with their customer service has been great. They are both helpful and prompt. Thank you for a great product that makes staying organized so much easier.

Invaluable amount of time saved not manually capturing addresses, delivery/rides, & calculating work vs personal. I love the plus then add after each stop. It’s so simple to adjust trips or add, almost too simple cuz I’ll often forget to capture my stop.

But I said mostly tho as I still capture data like start and end times , odometer readings start and end work, gas fillup cost, mpg, total gallons and daily & monthly averages.

I’d love to be able to capture my odometer reading right when I enter my start or along the way in MileageTracker instead of only once a month. I always have to delete my home tax base trip from prev day to start of next since working overnights. Capturing a gas cost with trip and totals along way would also save time. Lastly, not being able to use map while add new location and search location with the map available to look at is tough since I can’t view thats it’s correct.

I would recommend MileageTracker, even if just for the ease of capturing trips. It wasn’t clear I couldn’t use import functionality on my current sub or see data I entered for past months without a higher tier. It’s still been worth and I am not regretting the sub

I found Mileagewise and I’m incredibly impressed! It blows all the other mileage tracking apps I’ve used out of the water. MileageTracker has fantastic functionality and is really user-friendly - it’s simple and clear and colourful in its design.
Setting MileageTracker to my exact specifications literally took less than a minute - it was a very streamlined and well though out process.
So far, MileageTracker hasn’t crashed on me at all and all the trips recorded seem to be entirely accurate. It doesn’t seem to be draining my battery as much as other apps and runs well in the background so I still have complete function of my phone if required.
Plus my tax specialist is going to love me when I provide them with my exact mileage recordings for my tax return!

MileageTracker loaded swiftly for me. The best part of MileageTracker is having such a detailed tutorial to help me through the experience. Waze is built in so you know exactly where you are going. MileageTracker allows you to input gas stations to stop by and different vehicles. The best part of MileageTracker is that there is a whole category dedicated to customer service. This category includes tutorial videos, FAQ, and ways to contact the company. They truly are setting us up for success! I have used MileageTracker for an hour straight and there were no crashes. Not only does it run smooth, it also doesn’t drain my battery. MileageTracker is truly a well kept secret!

The simplicity of adding stops with a plus sign is a game-changer, though its ease sometimes leads me to overlook capturing every stop. Despite this, I rely on MileageTracker extensively for detailed data capture, including start and end times, odometer readings, gas fill-up costs, and averages. To enhance its utility, the ability to capture odometer readings more frequently, perhaps at trip start or intermittently, would be beneficial. Working overnight shifts requires me to regularly delete the home tax base trip from the previous day to the next, making streamlining this process crucial. Additionally, capturing gas costs along the way for real-time expense tracking would save time. The limitation of not using the map while adding a new location or searching for a destination

Plus, MileageWise offers a service tool that is unique and powerful, the easy conversion of Google Takeout JSON files to a usable Excel format, including creation of IRS acceptable mileage logs.

Best of all, IRS acceptable mileage logs can be created for virtually any time period recorded in Google Timeline for your drives and mileage. It’s easy to use and produces IRS acceptable mileage logs in minutes.

No other mileage tracking service that I have found has this tool. All other solutions I’ve seen and tried are time consuming and frustratingly difficult to use.

I’ve tried converting Google Takeout JSON location and travel log files using Excel’s data import tools, but the results are complicated, confusing, and difficult to use (way too much data that is not formatted correctly). What’s worse is that Excel’s Power Query JSON data import tool apparently needs to be recreated for every monthly mileage file. The time required to import the data is enormous, and a great deal more time is required to make the information usable for its intended purpose, a simple mileage log that the IRS will accept.

If you need the mileage logs, MileageWise has the right tools. Using them saves your irreplaceable time and energy for the productive tasks that make you money.

Mileagewise to the rescue! I chose Mileagewise because I needed software that could easily import json and csv files. Beyond that, I'm impressed with how easy the user interface is to navigate. Also, it's easy for me to block-categorize trips as well as set the default type of trip (e.g., business trip).

I've tried other apps to record my mileage but they all have trip gaps. The only thing I've found that consistently gets it right is Google Maps. Now, I can download my Google Maps data and import it into Mileagewise.

I understand why they don't track every mile, and that's OK with me. I would buy Mileagewise again!
