I have copied and pasted ingredients and told it’s not pore clogging, then put the same products ingredients in again and it says pore clogging ingredients?? I have purchased products based on this saying it’s not pore clogging only to recheck the same product again with SAME ingredients list to be told it’s no good.

I just got AcneSafe the other day because I had to change my diet over night so now I have to check every label on everything before I buy it. AcneSafe would be so much better if I was able to scan the ingredients list on the back of a package and it tells me the bad things on the list I can’t have. It takes so much time to look up information online then copy and paste in AcneSafe . I looked up what I needed before hand but if they don’t have the specific product you have to see if you can substitute for something else right there in the store. I wasted a lot of time looking up other options online because the didn’t have the other products in store. Please!!! I really hope you update AcneSafe !!!

It’s incredibly time consuming to copy & paste the ingredients into AcneSafe . They need to either implement a barcode scanner or allow you to upload a picture of the ingredients. I’d also love if they provided skincare and makeup suggestions. It tells you what you shouldn’t use, but doesn’t tell you what you should. Otherwise it is helpful!

I absolutely love AcneSafe, it’s so useful. An upgrade would be if you were able to click on the ingredients once they are selected by the algorithm and find some information on it. Also who ever said shea butter isn’t a comedogenic is very wrong, and should do a little research before leaving a bad review on an extremely helpful app.

As someone with adult acne-prone skin, this is a game changer and I wish I had this when I was a teenager! You can copy and paste the ingredients or look at the full list and over time you get familiarized with what to look out for. I wish this had an ingredient scanner or barcode scanner to make things easier, but even with taking the time to copy and paste full list of ingredients from a website, it gives you instant feedback and It’s really helped me avoid breakout-causing ingredients.
