I just installed the app to give it a try without any invitation. In order to confirm my phone number to receive funds, its asking for 3 x 0.07 cUSD= 0.21cUSD! While my wallet was just created and has zero balance. How could I even get this to work?😐
I have celo in my other wallet but there is no option in this app to deposit them without a confirmed phone number. Loop hole!
And the only way to confirm is using moonpay to buy celo!🤔
Not a smart start for the app.
With a lot of alternative wallets plus stable coins out there this is not any better yet!

Most of my experience was very good, until I got to the point of trying to send money. Maybe the exchange rate changed, or maybe there’s a fee for sending and it didn’t say that, but it said I didn’t have enough to send the very number that it showed me that I had available to send. The next failure was that it asked me to send a message with my CUSD. It became very unclear what should happen next, the screen changed by itself, and now I have no idea where things stand. Utter UX failure!

Nice fluff piece about this app being the most amazing decentralized payment app in existence. You literally cannot receive the money in any other currency than their own or a gift card. What are you expecting? For people to sell the token on an exchange so they have a tax burden all for using a worthless payment app? Absolutely horrible and confusing. I don’t know what market they were aiming for. Boomers that don’t understand how to send to a crypto address or people that can pay rent with a gift card?
