Best Workout App I’ve tried!

I have tried other exercise programs and apps in the past but this is the first one I’m actually sticking to. I have followed Cassey for such a long time but for some reason I stopped following her workouts and calendars. I am so glad I came back to it. Other apps and programs just give you a quick synopsis of the move but Cassey is doing the whole workout with you every step of the way. Every workout is challenging and I push myself because her words of encouragement and motivation keep me going. Other apps/programs I would give up or wouldn’t try as hard because I didn’t have someone walking me through it. I also love how modifications are given in most of the workouts. Body is so easy to use and navigate. I love that I can save my favorite workouts to go back to. And I just love “hanging” with Cassey! She is such a vibrant, happy, beautiful soul who encourages me to be a better version of myself. As weird as it sounds I feel like we are friends, and having a workout buddy keeps me coming back every day!

Excellent and effective workouts but a glitch in the app

I’m giving this a 5 star review just because this is the first at home workout program I’ve been able to stick to and found effective. Cassie is exceptional, works you to the core but not to the point where it feels impossible and you way to quit. I’ve been using this for about 6 months and signed up for the premium membership 4 months ago. I love how following the calendar and having all my workouts organized for me so I can just get to it. Everything with Body has been working fine until today. I noticed my work outs that I’ve completed erased and when I go to hit on a past work out, the date is reading incorrectly. Kind of a bummer because a big perk to Body is being able to see the recording of your process, which to me is super motivating.
Is there any tech support I can reach to resolve this issue ?
None the less Cassie Rules and I highly recommend Body if you’re working out from home.

Issue with progressing through the challenges

Body design is nice, and it’s less expensive than most other fitness apps. My only gripe, really, is that if you enter a challenge, Body only gives you the allotted time to finish. For example, I joined the 30 day arm challenge, but In the middle of it came down with either Covid or a gnarly sinus infection, I don’t know, but was out of commission for two weeks. I picked back up where I left off once I was feeling a bit better, but after I few days, when I went to do the challenge for whatever day i was on at that point, my progress through the challenge was gone. I realized that after the allotted 30 days, even though I hadn’t done the challenge for all of them, I’d been kicked. I realize I could join the challenge again, but feel pretty unmotivated to do that since I only get X days, instead of keeping track of my own progress.

Hopefully this stream of consciousness review actually makes sense, because I’d love if the developers took note and changed the way progress through the challenges was determined.

I really like this, but

I’m happy with my weight and have usually only done weightlifting due to my asthma cardio has always seemed out of reach. I actually built stamina through these videos and a few different inhaler treatments with my doctor to be able to do cardio again. Not interested in people who have issues with these videos or their “research into calorie deficit” if you have healthy eating habits drink water and exercise you loose weight. If you’re already doing that then you begin to tone. The challenge people have is committing to doing it all and putting in the work and handling the discomfort and yes at times pain. Cassie puts in the work this girl works her this app shows it and I believe she supports her followers so haters Gunna hate but let’s do less of that stop talking and put in the work. Body is fine I’ve had issues with the calendar working not sure why that’s my only pet peeve and why it’s a 4 I’ve tired everything. Restore updated log in uninstall nothing fixes its. It shows zero activity I literally use it 6 days a week then hit the weight bench. Fin

Subscription Value

First I want to say I do like Body , very visually appealing & lots of workout videos.

I signed up for the premium subscription, & I’m sorry, but it doesn’t seem really worth it to me. You’re basically paying for a few programs & challenges. I guess if you really like those, maybe it’s worth it for you. But I personally do not feel it’s worth it to pay for them. So for me, the premium is not a good fit, but Body in general is really nice. I downloaded & used it basically from launch & there were a bunch of bugs (I’d have to “restore purchases” every time I opened Body , it would force close). But, since it was brand new that’s really to be expected. I think the casting option doesn’t work for all TVs. I have an old Vizio tv, but I have a fire stick on it, & I can cast videos onto my tv from YT, but for some reason it doesn’t (or didn’t, not sure if this has been recently fixed) cast to my tv, so I have to either struggle to do the workouts while looking at my tiny phone screen, or look up the same video on YT so I can cast it to the TV.

makes me want to work out!!

Body is absolutely STUNNING. It is SO easy to navigate and the graphic design of Body is so pleasing to the eye (the color scheme, the layout, everything!!)
I’ve always loved Blogilates workouts but with quarantine have gotten really lazy to work out😅
I told myself August would be my month to start working out. Seeing the release of Body , and then seeing how integrated the monthly calendar is on Body (there’s a page where you can see your completion rate, and you can check off workouts as you go) makes me actually want to work out! Yesterday I finished my first day and it was absolutely motivating to attain my blue checks first on each workout and then on the general calendar once I completed everything. Excited to see my completion rate go to 100%😆
Definitely worth the 3.99 for the calendar feature and am SO excited to keep on using Body. Plus knowing Cassey, Body is just going to keep on getting better. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

Love it!

I started the Blogilates Beginner Calendar last month (I just started week 4) and I am loving Body! I am only using the free version at the moment, but it is still working just fine. I saw some reviews about not being able to show completed workouts and I had this trouble too, but I realized that you have to click done at the bottom after you finish the workout and then it’ll record it in the stats!

I’d love to have a search bar to find a name of a workout easily, but I just scroll until I find the name. I also hope that the beginner calendar could be added as a challenge, so it’s easier for newbies like me to join right in!

I will be purchasing the monthly subscription after I finish the beginner calendar. I would absolutely recommend Body to everyone and I think the small price of 3.99/mo is worth it to support Cassey and have everything beautifully organized in one spot.

Gorgeous, but I wish we could manually enter our calendar progress

First of all Body is gorgeous. It’s super aesthetically pleasing and easy to use. I’ve been using Casey’s free workout calendar for awhile now and heard her mention Body had the ability to check off workouts on the calendar as you go. I downloaded Body and created my profile, but was disappointed to see that you need to pay to access the calendar (which is still free on the website thankfully). I thought okay, well maybe I can still edit my profile manually to show my progress through the workouts and the challenges (your profile has a stat for percent complete of the calendar and any challenges you do) but unfortunately you can’t seem to change that with the free version. So even though I’m working out every day, my profile shows 0% complete for everything which is kind of a bummer. I’m not asking for everything to be free, because really we get a TON of awesome content for free, I just wish I could manually enter my progress and see my percent completion for motivation!

What a BEAUTIFUL app!

Ok, I just opened it and immediately fell in love with the colors! It just POPS and lifts my mood! It's so beautiful and happy!

I looked around to check out all the videos, calendars, and challenges and I HAVE to say that this is AMAZING! Everything is so seamless and easy to use! I LOVE that I can cast all the videos straight to my TV and I LOVE that I can create favorites AND search for workouts under certain categories (like stretching or abs!)

I also love that the workouts are also written out! So I can plan my next move by looking ahead - which makes my workouts much easier to follow along with you!

The fact that I can use Body is so helpful too because I travel a lot. So I REALLY need workouts that i can follow right from my phone and this is it!

I LOVE the calendar option too! So you just tell me what to do and I'm good to go! So thank you!

This was such a thoughtful app! I've honestly never seen another workout app that was so beautiful AND functional! Many workout apps aren't beautiful but they have great workouts or they are beautiful but they don't work well and aren't intuitive. So I end up not using those apps because i don't enjoy the functionality or the appearance. But yours, has both!

I'm so deeply grateful for the time you took to create this for us! So I just bought the yearly subscription! Thank you for everything you do Cassey! 💛

Awesome App So Far

I love how organized Body is. The profile page keeps track of how many workouts you have completed and let’s you mark your favorites. It also keeps track of where you are in the challenges. Before I was using Facebook to follow all the workout videos. It was annoying with all the ads and trying to scroll through the feed to find the next challenge video. With Body it’s all in one place plus ad free 😄There are just a couple things that I think could be fixed. I wish it would show the difficulty on the video before you click on it. I have to open up each individual video just to see how hard it is. Secondly I wish it would show you which videos you have already done so that I can keep trying new ones. I am a very forgetful person haha Maybe Body already does this but I haven’t figured it out. If those small things could be changed it would be perfect! At least for me 🥰All in all great app!

Use this app daily, please fix small thing

I have tried working out and this is what keeps me coming back. The ability to have small bite sized focused workouts. I’m following the beginner calendar from the website and just searching for the specific workouts for the day.

There is one small detail that I would ask to be fixed. When you search for a workout, and then press the X to clear the search, the search box disappears completely. The X should just clear the words so you can immediately do a new search. Thereafter, you have to press search again and the cursor doesn’t automatically appear in the search box, you have to click in the search box to start typing. It’s a small thing but I think because we’ve gotten used to how it works across other websites and technology, it’s counterintuitive.

Thanks for all you do.

Great idea, but I’m disappointed about the monthly sub

I was so excited for her new app when I got the email! I totally understand that Body is also a way of revenue for Cassey, but I originally followed her because her apps/videos were free. She deserves to make money off this yes, but seeing that I have to be constantly re-billed a monthly or yearly fee to have content that is free everywhere else is a bit of a bummer. I would have rather paid a one time fee for Body , even if it was like $10. Again, I understand that since everything else is free, the argument for charging for convenience on a phone app does have some value. I personally just will not be paying a monthly or yearly fee to get otherwise free material. I would be more keen on purchasing through Body if maybe there was exclusive content on there like the shopping list or 90 day planner (things you have to buy from her merch store) available on Body as well! Not a bad idea either since that planner has actually sold out!

BEST workout program EVER!

Very rarely do I leave reviews, BUT I have to for this. I’ve been following blogilates since 2012 and I absolutely love Pop Pilates! I’ve tried so many other programs, apps, plans, videos, etc. but Blogilates is my favorite. I love how she literally does the whole workout with you and you just follow along — SO EASY (well the workouts are challenging, but in a good way!) Body makes saving my favorite videos so simple and I can even search and find extra videos to do by ‘this app part.’ Ugh thank you Cassey! Especially during this time (hot mess 2020)...following the monthly workout calendar has brought a level of consistency into my life that makes me feel so good!

Plus people on Instagram (@caitpoli) always ask me about my workout routine (“girl how’d you get abs like that?!”) and I always point them to Blogilates! 💕 I’m a ride a die for this one.

Great!!! but not for me.

Cassey is the best at home fitness instructor ever! Constantly reminding you of good form and this app positivity. She makes working out super fun! I think Body will be really helpful for those who like to visualize their progress. However, I appreciate having my own printout of the calendar because i sometimes like to swap around workout and really customize it to my personal preference. If this had the option to do that I would be more inclined to keep it. That is the only reason for giving it 4 stars. Great detailing and super user friendly! I also find the $40/year affordable and accessible and way cheaper than a gym. If that is still not accessible to you then you can use her website which is totally free! I think if you can afford it you should buy it because of all the hard work she puts into every one of her business ventures. Absolutely recommend if this is something you are looking for!

Doesn’t Cast to all smart TVs

I love Cassey and I love her workouts but I got Body specifically in order to cast to my TV. It will only work with devices with Chromecast and apparently mine doesn’t have that. Total bummer. I’ve looked for where this information is listed in Body purchasing section and I found nothing. So when it says you are able to cast to your TV it is deceiving because I cannot cast to mine after going through all the help section and making sure everything was correct. It needs to state specifically that you can only cast through google chrome devices in Body Store in plain sight where you will be downloading Body . Very annoyed by this after spending almost an hour updating the TV and troubleshooting and following help directions. Still haven’t gotten to work out yet. Why can’t they make it able to cast through the other streaming services as well? If I have a smart TV I should be able to cast onto no matter what. Level up folks.

Beautiful!

As soon as I saw you had put out an app I downloaded it and decided to give it a try! It’s absolutely beautiful and it’s helping me stay motivated to keep working out every day.
I do sometimes have to close Body and reopen it to access my calendar and the check marks don’t always show up even though after I hit done it is counted as a completed workout. Also even though I have completed some of the calendar it still says I’m at zero percent.
Something I think might be helpful would be to add a search bar to the work out tab so it’s easier to find specific workouts without having scrolling through all of the (amazing) content.
The issues I’ve had have all been very minor and overall have not prevented me from completing the daily workouts and challenges. Body is beautiful and motivating and I know it will only keep getting better! I highly recommend it.

Some suggestions

I really love Body and the overall layout!!
I have a few suggestions though to make Body better....I love listening to music while working out and unfortunately Body makes that hard. I wish their was an option where we could have music playing on Body . Maybe let us adjust the video volume and the music volume. I normally play her videos on the tv or computer and then just turn the volume off. My other suggestion is maybe adding a recipe section for the people that pay for Body . Also maybe have a way to have a digital planner on Body . The main thing I would like to fix/add is having Body be music friendly.
Final thought- please also add an option to see what the upcoming days are. I really like to plan my stuff and that would be easier.

Love this app! Just one thing

I love Casey’s videos, and I’m so happy that I can access these videos on a mobile app! The layout is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The one issue I have is with the calendar category. I honestly don’t know if this is an issue with my phone, but I subscribed to the monthly plan, and I thoroughly enjoy the calendar but every time I go back into Body after not using it for a long period of time (say five hours to a day), I can’t access the calendar and I’m presented with the page that asks me if I want to pay for the monthly or yearly plan. When I click monthly I’m told that I “already subscribed to this plan” and then I get a pop up message saying that Body cannot connect to the iTunes Store. What’s weird is that I’m only able to have access to the calendar after I close Body (so that it’s not running even after I exited it), and then reopen it.

Love the app, but ...

I want to preface this by saying I absolutely love Body . It’s organized really well, the graphics are fun and engaging, and I feel motivated to workout and track my progress The only thing that really frustrates me is the scheduling of challenges. Don’t get me wrong, the challenges are fun and, well, challenging! The only issue is that you can’t mark workouts that you complete earlier than they are set in the challenge. It’s completely understandable, but during the week I have dance. On the day I have the most dance classes/ spend the most time in the studio I’d prefer to do one of the stretching videos from the challenge. You can’t track your progress in the challenge by completing a workout that’s scheduled in the future. Other than that I really love Body and I strongly encourage others to download it!

Wonderful App!

I love Body! It makes working out so fun! I love the challenges and the individual workout. I like that there are videos demonstrating each exercise.

I am currently doing the 100 Ab Challenge. I wish there was a way to pause the challenge for a day or two if you have no time whatsoever to do the exercise that day. Right now, if you skip a day and don’t open Body to do the workout, the exercise for the day is automatically marked as ‘done’, even if you didn’t do it. If you press “stop challenge” and then you want to start again, you have to go from the beginning. A great way to improve Body would be to add a ‘pause’ button for each challenge so you don’t have to worry about skipping the exercise, and you can pick up where you left off. Overall, amazing app!

Best Workout APP Ever!!

I have been following Cassey for about 10 years now. 3 1/2 years ago following my separation and later divorce, I decided to start following Cassey’s calendars and committed to get myself feeling better. I’m now 42 and in the best shape of my life. People ask me what I do all the time, and I direct them to Blogilates. Cassey not only gives the best combination of cardio and toning workouts, but also provides the best healthy lifestyle tips, nutrition advice, this app image talks, and so much more. Using Body is a one stop shop for creating the best version of yourself. If you follow all of Casey’s advice and do her workouts consistently, I guarantee you will see results. This lady changed my life, and I am eternally grateful!!

All together in one great app

I got introduced to Blogilates during the pandemic and have never looked back. Being able to do the workouts at home and on my own time is a blessing and even my kids have begun to join in on the fun! Now that the workouts are all organized in Body without commercials is a game changer and I can't wait to sign up for the interactive calendar which will make things even easier. Looking forward to whatever else Casey has in store for us in future developments...I'm hoping for a food journal! 😏 Thanks for this amazing app. You are an inspiration! Keep up the amazing work!

By

Beautiful and practical interface

I love how the calendars are integrated into Body and how easy everything is to find. The main thing is the library is comprehensive and organized, and it also looks seamless on the UI side making it more appealing to view and access. Body looks so much better than many of the other apps on the market that charge a ton but don’t have much content. Other apps are also pretty much the same formatting, but you can tell this has Cassey’s style and vision incorporates in it. Also a ton of new videos and great video quality!

By

Love it!!

I’ve followed Cassey for years and feel like she’s an old friend. Her workouts are always pushing you to the next level, she’s so down to earth about health and fitness, and best part is these are all FREE and in your pocket! I always feel challenged by her workouts and she’s constantly coming up with new challenges to keep me motivated. I’ve even gotten my husband in on it and he’s now a huge blogilates fan. Congrats Cassey! Body is so easy to use, no glitches, and looks beautiful. I’m a UX designer too and I give Body a 10/10!

By

One stop place for all my blogilates workouts!

This is a SUPER easy way to browse your workouts while seeing the difficulty level and length of the video!! It looks like my profile shows my progress in your challenges and it really helps with motivation 🥰 it's very visual and easy to follow, everything I need in one spot! I'm trying to project the videos on my TV and it seems that the button isn't working on Body rn. Other than that, it's awesome and I can't wait to keep exploring it!!

By

YAY for this App!

Thank you Cassey! Body is awesome - it is engaging and motivating. I can hear you yelling at me in the main screen to get moving and that is what you need sometimes. Thank you for creating workouts that everyone can do and offering modifications with encouragement to push yourself when possible. You are the only fitness person I have followed consistently in my life and I feel stronger! I have one of your mats too and it is great! Love the calendars too. 😊❤️🌈

By

Pay a subscription to have the free calendar ??

I am a huge fan of Cassey and Blogilates but I'm not a big fan of Body. I understand she has been giving free workouts for years and needs to make an income but charging to have your workouts all in one place when the calendar is still offered for free just seems kind of tacky to me. Also the one thing I really liked about the past app is that there was a page for community to post their progress and uplift other popsters. I am really sad to see that missing from Body. Body is very aesthetically pleasing and well organized but unfortunately there is not enough for me to keep it

By

Awesome

I love blogilates and have been watching her videos to workout. The layout is super easy to go through and I love that it tracks the progress.

It would be nice for the future if Body allows us to track our macros. Also if Body can be connected to an Apple Watch to help track heart rate and calories that we are burning, it would definitely be a plus!

But I can’t wait to try it and switch to Body !

By

Best work out app ever !

Finally an app that keeps me motivated and excited to work out . Cassey is right there with you doing the work out, explaining everything, telling you not to give up ,it feels like you are working out together! You can pick and choose exactly what you want to work out that day. And to make it even better she has awesome challenges that are soo much fun. Definitely recommend.

By

Cassie brings light and positive energy to your day when you need it! Motivating great workouts

I can’t speak to Body as she just introduced, but I’ve been following her for years. As someone who struggles with getting workouts in, she provides everything from five minute quick workouts to really great core challenges. Keep up the great work and thank you for rolling out the new app

By

Been waiting for this!!!!

Yay! Thank you Cassey!!! I miss clicking the ✔️ when I finish a video... Love it!! But same as previous review. I can’t click on other workout days. My day of stretching is on Sundays so I adjust my workout days and need to look at other days. But otherwise Body looks great. One more question..100 squat challenge? I don’t know if you’re able to upload those videos?

By

Wow, I am absolutely thrilled!

I just started blogilates a few months ago and was wishing blogilates had an app that I could use on my phone - particularly for the calendar and here it is!! 😍 I only briefly looked through it before reviewing, but it looks amazing. I share the videos to my smart tv and it is so EASY! I also love the break downs underneath the videos, beyond helpful. So, so happy there’s an app now!

By

Awesome!!

I’ve been wanting a Blogilates App for years. Always wondered why there wasn’t one. I love the overall appearance and ease of use. I love the calming color palette...so refreshing compared to all the other apps out there. I’ve already hearted some favorite workouts and will definitely get the subscription.
I can’t wait to start working out with Body. Thanks, Cassey!!

By

Amazing!!

I enjoy Body so much! Especially once you become a new user, it’s super easy to find what you want to do! I feel like sometimes certain workout apps have A LOT going on and it’s hard to find what’s available to you and what isn’t. But you get everything here :)
I 100% recommend to anyone who is curious about it!!!

Love the look but where’s the timer?

Just went through the whole app. It has a great flow (so much better than the old app) and I’m excited to do my workouts with it! My favorite part of the old app was the workout timer. I do other workouts but I would still use the Blogilates app timer for my HIIT moves. The PIIT Pocket app doesn’t have an editable timer so I hope there are plans to add a timer to Body!
