I enjoy collecting recipes and appreciate having my wide variety of recipes available without printing them out. Stashcook occasionally crashes or stalls when adding a recipe.
I like Stashcook a lot. I use the recipe storage and shopping list the most. There is really only one thing I don’t like (or I can’t get information on how to do). When I add my own recipe, I cannot figure out how to add a negative amount of an ingredient. For example, I have an InstaPot Greek Yogurt recipe that I use with FairLife Whole Milk. After the yogurt is made, I drain out about 2 cups of liquid acid Whey. I can’t figure out how to adjust the recipe so the nutrition information is correct. Other than that, I LOVE it.
I have paid extra for premium and I am inundated with ads still, it’s frustrating! I can’t add new recipes without being attacked by ads. I would be devastated to have to abandon for a different solution. Is there some way to reduce the interruption or a necessary evil?
I am in love with this app! I was complaining to a friend that I had lost motivation to cook recently and never seem to remember my husband’s favorite dishes when he says “I love this one. Please make this again” and I think okay, sure thing. Then time goes by and I’m flipping though cookbooks or searching online and nothing sounds very inspiring and I can’t recall which ones he loved. It seems like it would be easy to remember things like that but with two toddlers, I need a little help. She told me about this app and wow what a game changer Stashcook is! It has given me a whole new motivation for cooking and I am forever thankful. The grocery list feature is fantastic and I’ve been telling all my girlfriends about it! Thank you!!
I love Stashcook! My husband and I love using it to meal plan, save recipes, and share a shopping list. That last one is important as I no longer have to keep making list and him still forgetting things at the store.
When I come across a recipe on the internet that sounds good but don’t want to make it now, I save the recipe to this app so I have it at my fingertips later. Great app!! Love it!!
Totally worth the money, it makes it so easy to save the recipes I find and truly want to make, make lists, and helps me follow the recipe better.
Stashcook has helped me in so many ways. Meal planning is simple, my shopping list is simple and loading recipes in Stashcook is simple. I have shared with Stashcook with all my friends. Game changer!
Highly recommend Stashcook as it’s easy to visualize and catalog recipes. Gone are the days of reading a web page for recipes and trying to remember what you googled to find something!
Stashcook is great for saving your favorite recipes and having them on hand. Love the Lock Screen feature and ability to increase and decrease portion size. Helpful also for counting macros!
I love Stashcook so much. I love cooking and finding recipes online but it was so frustrating trying to find the list of ingredients and instructions. Stashcook gives you all the information you need. It has been a life safer for me. Thank you.
I recommend Stashcook over having a ton of physical books where you only use a few recipes. My go to over books when meal planning. I use the free version for now. I intend to pay the small amount for family sharing in near future. I love that you can edit saved recipes where I had tips or remove items/substitute within ingredients. I love the search option & delete option when I saved same recipe more than once. I love I can add my own recipes. Easy to use. Not sure if it’s an option but someday I’d love to have my treasures made into my own favorite recipe book! Thank you for such a great app with no issues!
My sister recommended this and it’s my all time favorite app! I used to find a recipe on the internet, make it, and never be able to find it again. This makes it so easy to save and import recipes. Love it and recommend it to everyone
It stores personal recipes and also downloads recipes from websites. The recipes are scalable and remove the unnecessary comments that plague every online recipe. You can add ingredients manually to the shopping list or dump from the meal plan. Perfect app for busy people who cook at home!
We have been using Stashcook for our family, and it has made dinner time more organized. If I can’t make it one night my husband can just look at the calendar to cook. The only hiccup is I keep getting ads after paying for premium.
One thing that would be amazing is if it integrated with Kroger to add items to a shopping list for order.
For someone who uses recipes regularly, shares recipes with friends and family and (before stash cook) would forever forget where the best recipes are hidden somewhere within the millions of recipes you can find on the internet...this is the perfect app! I will never ‘lose’ a decent recipe again! And as a busy working Mum I find my life runs just a little bit smoother when I’ve planned all dinners for the week ahead, so the meal planner/shopping list feature is brilliant! Thank you Stash cook!
Love, love Stashcook! So easy to pull in recipes from all over the web and seamlessly add to a meal plan and grocery list. Love that I can “stash” my recipes in many ways or create my own. Stashcook is what I’ve been looking for and far exceeds my expectations. Would be great to be able to sort the recipes by multiple collections (like by protein type “chicken” and season “summer”, for example, especially as I continue to use and build out collections). But truly such a great app, thank you!!!
Finally! Other recipe apps are overly complex at the expense of core functionality. (I don’t need another social media app! I need a “smart” recipe library that handles data elegantly and enables me to collaborate on meal planning with my partner.) Enter this app. this app ticks all the boxes, and is intuitive and pleasant to use. Stashcook imports recipes flawlessly. It creates shopping lists flawlessly. The developers are also thoughtful and responsive to user input, which is a big bonus. Highly recommend. 11 million stars.
I’ve been using this app for about a month now, and I’ve been extremely happy with it. The import function works well with minor exceptions and I love the meal planner and ability to send ingredients directly to the shopping list. The one feature I feel like this is missing is the ability to make footnotes on recipes. There are times when I modify a recipe and want to note what I did without altering the base recipe or make other notes about usage, but there is not a great way to do this.
I love the convenience of saving all my recipes in one place. I love that I can categorize them which makes it so easy to find the recipe I need.
