Keeps crashing when trying to delete an entry

I am an iOS MiniKeePass user. IOSKeePass has been discontinued. IOSKeePass should be a fork of the MiniKeePass project, but it is not able to open MiniKeePass files exported from other apps into this one.

so let me try again. app can see .key file in same folder as .kdbx file - but .key file greyed out and cannot select it. therefore app says NONE apparently meaning app see no .key file. i use .key files with other keepass apps but IOSKeePass not like. i have used IOSKeePass in past. yeah this is free app and i appreciate it is free, in comparison hęll i paid for super expensive strongbox, but geez i would like to use IOSKeePass because i'm guessing IOSKeePass can better handle really long entries. nonetheless right now for me have to still again say sorry IOSKeePass is a SAD FAIL for me since won't load .key file.

No issue opening on other apps.

My copy of password file is shared among different platforms. For iOS, I normally just drop the file to my iPhone and open it up in Files. iOS uses MiniKeePass to open it for me. In this this app app, it opens up the ADD menu as if I clicked the + sign and never actually reads my password file. More than that, my password fill disappears afterwards. So this is pretty much unusable. Very disappointed.

Very basic, might work for some… Does not work for my needs, simply because it’s not compatible with my Keepass databases that are already in existence.

Got this as a replacement for mini keepass but can’t open my existing keepass database. When exporting, screen flashes then nothing. Don’t see a way to import database files within IOSKeePass either. Will see if updates fix the issue/edit review if it works.

When I use the file browser from within IOSKeePass , my kdbx files are greyed out and can’t be clicked on. When I start from the Files app and attempt to open the kdbx file in this app, IOSKeePass opens but nothing happens.

Some typo errors, but functional.

It works well with Face ID but I can’t open the files without FaceID.

When creating a new entry if you don’t save before IOSKeePass times out you end up losing all data in the entry. If you had used the password generator and used it to register in s website you may end up losing the password as it is not saved and you may no longer have access to the site if you no longer remember the password.
Please add auto save before IOSKeePass times out and logs off.

Edit: Latest version, 1.8.2 ("fix localization"), now works on my iPad. Thanks much! Let me know if you want a beta tester for future updates.

Previous review:
Confirming that databases cannot be opened on iPad. Touching them in the db list does nothing. "Edit" works, though--the "-" icons appear and work.

Trying to open through "File" switches to this app *but deletes the file*. Interestingly, File can't see anything for my (working) MiniKeePass.

Someone else said that the upstream app, MiniKeePass, does the same thing. I have that, but haven't upgraded past 1.7.2; that version is working.

Thanks for keeping minikeepass free and open.

Long user of MiniKeepass. This seems to be a great alternative. It is really all I need to keep enjoying keepass.

I got a new iOS device. Couldn’t download MiniKeePass so I found this as a new app to use. Transferred my databases and tested. Works great! Thanks to the devs for keeping this going.

Downloaded for testing just because I have the original MiniKeePass and I would like something similar and dependable as the original app was. Will change rating after testing.

Update:
I was able to import database from original Keepas (yay). That was first good sign.
Will see how everting goes ahead, but I have such a feeling that it will be similar as the original. For which I am really greatful!

Update II:
I just read all other reviews, yes, importing original Keepass database is little tricky, but it WORKS!
This is so far the most simplistic password manager. You guys are doing very good job! Thank you do that!
