Bakesy is okay and I can see how some businesses find it helpful. I had an issue the first time using it and getting orders where my venmo link didn’t fully paste (seemingly due to a character limit) causing a customer to pay the wrong person for their order. They said they’d investigate and I never heard back. I’m hoping this issue was fixed, but I still don’t know. I was also hoping to be able to offer a preorders and set item limits on my end. For example I’m offering up to 6 total sourdough loaves on a particular day. Once that number is hit it wouldn’t allow any more orders for that item. I was told that feature was coming in the latest update, but it doesn’t seem to be there. I would also love the ability to manually enter orders without a customers email or phone number required. Some of my customers don’t seem to like the extra step of putting info/ordering in this app. I’d like the option to enter the order myself with their name and no other info just so I can keep track of orders more easily.

So far it’s limited for what it can be used for wish it had more customization and a actual calendar or option to accept orders anytime also when u complete a order it doesn’t even show up in completed section.. quirks to it might go back to my regular website so far no real Benefits I see In using it Response there isn’t a calendar with actual time slots and the only option I see is for the whole month with days and min 1day lead time which blocks out a day and half… which means Bakesy isn’t set up to take order same day.. and I was referring to it not showing up in the completed section I guess it’s just there when ur actively working on the orders the same day imo it should be moved around. But hey what do I know (update found the off switch that allows me to do same day the set up intentionally asks u to select a lead time which is why I assumed it could only be that) still has some quirks I feel like can be improved on to make it better imo

So I definitely feel like Bakesy has a lot of potential however I think it still has a ways to go. I think it’s a little confusing from the business standpoint setting up the profile and flavors and what not and then also from the customer standpoint it’s a little confusing because there’s a section that asks you for flavors icing all those kind of questions however there’s not a way for me to edit those and it’s just weird because that’s not necessarily what I’m offering it’s just a little confusing. i’m also not a huge fan of the way it has you set up your menu. like everything is almost there it’s just a little off and a little confusing

I love this app but I’m not giving 5 stars because:
1. I can not log in from a computer to update items which would be much easier than doing it from my phone. (I’m visually impaired and it’s hard to see the fine print sometimes) I would pay more for this option.
2. No way to add multiple selections to a single item with price for the items selected.
3. Would like for customer contact to be made through Bakesy and not to my direct phone number. (Some people are crazy)
4. Wish we could display special items on the homepage and not just tags.

I've been using Bakesky for almost a year and love the new update! However, I think the website could benefit from a more modern design. Specifically, it would be great to be able to navigate through gallery photos by tapping left or right instead of having to click on each individual photo and then backtrack to view the next one.

More customization options for colors and design would also be a huge plus, allowing users to give their website a more personalized and modern feel.

Despite these minor suggestions, I find Bakesy incredibly easy to use, both for myself and my customers. With a few tweaks, I'd definitely give Bakesky a 5-star rating!

Bakesy I have used since day one of starting my Microbakery. Which is very nerve racking on its own. this app helps take the time away from having to do invoicing and managing money. It does it all for you. You can set your required deposit amount when you go to send the customer an invoice it breaks it all down for them and links Venmo or cashapp or whatever banking you want to use. Only downside is you have to use it on your phone or iPad, you can update your website on the computer or anything which I wish we could. Other than that this is the best was to go it’s everything in one.

I’m beyond grateful for Bakesy let me just say that for one because I am a homebaker. I basically do everything by myself when it comes from the baking, decorating, creating content and clean up. There’s so much to do in Bakesy helps out so much because it puts everything that I need in order.
I love how they just added the new review system, so my customers can leave recommendations and comments about their order. It gives me insight on what I can do better or what I can approve on. I love how I can ask all the questions I need for each individual item that is listed in my menu as well as send invoices to my customers, making me look more professional!
I appreciate the help chat services as well! They always respond back fast and help me with whatever assistance or questions I need.
Some ideas I think they could add are the number of orders in total when going to order history. Especially when you print out your yearly page that way it’s easier to know how many orders you did throughout the year. Also upgrading the main page to where it looks more like a webpage. Like you can view some of the products before tapping on the request order page.
Other than that, I really like Bakesy and I will continue to use this.

Started 2024 with a plan to simplify my bakery process, while helping it grow and become a bigger source of income. I heard about the this app app from one of my Cookier pages and decided to give it a try. It is a game changer! It’s so easy to use and customize! I love what the customer view looks like and the ease of placing an order! I have recently added pics to each “category” of offerings and it looks so professional. I cannot believe I’ve gone all these years without it!

I absolutely love Bakesy. I think it could be better if we were able to edit attachments and pictures in a current order. I would also like to be able to pay out an order that someone has paid cash without sending the customer something. I know we can do that through customer service but it would be better if we were able to do it. So so grateful for Bakesy. It helps me stay organized and it’s easy for the customer to use as well.

this app is AMAZING! I used to take orders via messaging on Instagram and Facebook, but of course it got exhausting having to go back and forth to the messages to make sure that I got everything right flavor wise, filling wise, shape, size, etc. this app has made my life so much easier, I pay for the premium and it’s so worth it. I get so many compliments on how cute my little website is and it just makes my life easier to be able to see my orders laid out clearly and chronologically. 10/10 recommend

I have been with this app for quite some time and I think this is the easiest tool on the market. I love that they are always adding features and a new premium service. The help desk is always so quick to respond and offers straightforward answers. The price is right. I only wish that there was the option to pass the credit card fees onto customers automatically. I also just learned I can use my domain name to forward right to my this app site completely eliminating my need to upkeep my website. Love love love

I am really loving using this app! It’s helped to organize my orders and streamline my process.
The only things I would change is the ability to integrate into my phones system calendar so I can see my to do list at a glance instead of clicking into each day that has a dot on it.

Another thing I would add is a daily prep list that auto generates according to the orders due - with the ability to change start dates as I start my sourdough orders the day before so I can bake them the morning they’re due.

One more thing would be to limit the amount of items I can sell PER DAY. I can limit an order amount, but if everyone came in and ordered 6 of one thing for the same day I’d be completely overwhelmed. So maybe an “inventory” section or something of that sort?

Overall it’s a great app and has helped me gain the confidence to take on more than I thought possible initially. I can’t wait to see if they add improvements!

This is so much better than a website I have did three to maybe four websites and it can be really confusing but this just breaks it down to what a baker needs from cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cookies this is literally Bakesy for you. You can get reviews you can get your invoices sent you can get anything that you need even if you want to ship your items you can easily just put that in your bio I love Bakesy I had it for a while and I wouldn’t change it for the world and for the price of itit’s definitely worth it

I have been using Bakesy for a year and it has helped keep me extremely organized. It’s also very user friendly and simple for my customers when they are making an order.

My only wish is if we had the capability to go back in edit the payment amount after the order has been marked “confirmed” . When I send out my invoices I require a deposit to secure the order. I have had several occasions on large orders where my customer will pay the deposit, (once received I will confirm the order and the system automatically updates the balance left remaining) then a few days later they will pay more money to pay down the balance before their pickup. Once I confirm the order it doesn’t allow me to go back and edit the amount left remaining, I have to keep track of that in the notes section.

Other than that I really and truly LOVE Bakesy!

I make decorated sugar cookies and previous to downloading this app, I took orders through Instagram, Facebook, text message, email...you name it. I was always terrified I’d forget an order and I was always flipping through different apps to find the details of an order while I was working on it...sooo much wasted time. this app has been so awesome and I’m hoping to eventually get 100% of my customers to order through it because it keeps me so organized and does my invoicing for me, which also saves me a ton of time! I knew of other apps that other people use to do the same type of thing but I’m not the most tech savvy so this app made it really easy for me.

This has been a life saver for me! Really helpful for a brand new small business owner and is so organized and clear to follow. Makes me feel confident having a dependable website and my customers enjoy the simplicity of the site.

Update: I wish there was a way to do my edits on desktop instead of on the phone through Bakesy . I’m still learning how to manage my website and I’m constantly updating it. Over time it gets to be stressful when you’re spending hours trying to edit and make sure it’s functional. Still love Bakesy , just need more versatility to be able to edit on desktops :)

Overall great app. One major issue though is that if you opt to require orders in “dozens” it asks the customer to specify a numerical quantity (not in dozens — it says at the top 6 = Half dozen). If a customer enters “12” for 1 dozen In the invoice for the request it will say 12 dozens. So currently if someone enters “6” for 1/2 dozen the final invoice sent to both parties would make it impossible to tell if it was for 6 actual cookies or 6 dozen, both of which are very likely quantities. It would be nice if we could opt to stick to all quantities in dozens throughout the process (increments of 0.5 dozen) or to opt to only numerical quantities (not restricted to dozens or half dozens).

It appears the issue has been resolved. Impressed with how quickly they address and patch bugs 10/10.

Well, here you have it, the one and only app for your small business Bakery needs. As an IT guy, I found Bakesy simple enough that most technical challenge folks can get the job done at ease. The recommendations, would be give the same drop down for deliveries to your customers as you see creating an order using Bakesy . Helps avoid having to create the questionnaire section for delivery. The other thing I want is because being OCD, have a way to remove items you add under offerings, flavors, etc. I.E., I created a bunch of keyword in the past but I want to clean up these items I don’t use and more importantly I don’t see them any longer, make it self service in that regards. Superb app altogether and blessed to have found it!

Hey lady, Thank you for the lemon cake you provided my aunt today! She is one that is very particular about what she likes (she has a refined taste and has that coinage to have experienced the finer things in life) and so to please her, is saying alot! I am one that is not big on lemon cakes however, my other aunt, who feels the same, discussed it. It was weird, we aren't one who are big on lemon cakes but this, because it tasted so fresh as oppose to processed tasting cakes, loved this cake! All this to say, you are truly annointed at what you do, if you were ever wondering, you have a calling. We may think sometime, oh it's just food, it's just clothing, etc. but God wants His people to saturate the world!! I’ve been using Bakesy for about 2months now and I’m loving it so far. Business was at its peak during February and this app helped me keep track of all my orders and sending out invoices and payment reminders on its own was a big help. I love that I can also print out order receipts, I do wish I could log in edit on my laptop through a web version. And hope they add more customization features in the future . But overall such a fun app to use 🩷
