I wish I read the reviews before downloading. I stupidly put in my information because I was unable to do a search without doing so. Minutes later, I started getting unsolicited phone calls from realtors. To make it worse — I STILL haven’t been able to properly use USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch because the pop-up to enter info won’t go away. Furthermore, there is NO warning or indication that entering info would mean they would SELL your info to solicitors. Very, very disappointed and annoyed with USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch. Deleted within hours.

Almost none of the listings that appear in USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch are ever buyable houses. Most of them have already been sold, many of them months ago. It’s completely useless for an active buyer. I also agree with other reviewers that USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch feels clunky and outdated and images take so long to load I always resort to looking up the address in another app to see the details. Which is also subsequently where I find the house has been sold 3 months ago.

Your info is required to sign up, and it obviously sold immediately. The emails and phone calls from real estate agents began the next day. I was completely blindsided, and couldn’t figure out how all these agents got my info, until a few of them mentioned USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch/site. Besides that annoyance, the listings you pay for are mostly worthless. This company sells many apps promising the same thing and I assume they’re all just mining for user info to sell

I tried doing a search and I sat with it loading for hours yes I sat that long before I said screw it then I tried entering other info email and phone like other reviewers said they needed to do nada still loading I tried a number of odd and end locations even where are my crickets to express the waiting for any results .... time to find a different place to hunt as USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch is a waste in my world of being pointless

Absolutely useless app. Does not work as advertised and solicits you for your personal information as soon as you try to search for something. Sure, it’s free, but so is the HUD website actually managed and created by the government, unlike this farce.
Stay far away from USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch. Go back to your browser. No one is siphoning your info there - at least not anyone that is going to call and annoy you

Need to make it more user friendly and allow users to search by state or county or map view. Currently USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch forces you to choose a quadrant within a county, ie “northwest wayne county” and then it forces you to choose one part of the city that fits within that quadrant. So in order to see all properties within Detroit I have to do multiple different searches, and each search is multiple clicks.

Literally the worst app ever. You have to give your name and phone# to “register” before using. I have been bombarded with text and calls since doing so. I used USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch last night, was woken by a call from an agent and then saw 2 text messages from different agents saying “I see you visited my site”. It’s only noon and I’ve now received 2 more calls! They just sell and resell your information. DO NOT USE

I encourage everyone who comes across USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch to report it to Apple (like I just did). It’s a data mining scam and shouldn’t event be in USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch Store. The developer hasn’t provided Apple with their Privacy Policy which is a RED FLAG. They have no Privacy Policy. They require your contact information in order for you to access content, which is then sold to third parties. Again, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO.

I would rate it 0 stars if I could. App does NOT filter on just foreclosures, despite what description says. Interface is horrible and does not render pictures properly. Worst is that they sent my data to tons of agents and I now get flooded with unsolicited calls for financing and real estate representation; not even sure how I can remove my data from this spam database.

Needs to be upgraded and more user friendly and responsive - images take too long to load and it is slow

USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch is a waste of time. It tries to pull homes for sale from other web sites. When you look at the homes, they already have been sold. They were for weeks or months off the market. Just a waste of time.

I couldn’t even do a search with this popup coming up. Why would I provide my email and phone number just to do a simple search??

Any tips to get past the error when trying to pick a city for notifications?

To use the search you have to provide contact info and a few hours later I started getting unsolicited calls. Not worth it-there are other ways to get this info.

The information might be accurate but USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch is definitely selling your information without your consent. After it prompted me for my email and phone number, I started getting spammed from realtors. Delete and block

Not even worth download, each time I searched only showed one result. This must be a phishing app since there are no real results and you have to give personal information before allowed to search.

Supposedly there were 52 results matching my criteria, but it would only show me about ten results that were all in the million+ price range. Immediately deleted, I don’t know why USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch has such a high rating.

Search feature is crap. Can’t select anything, pics take forever to load. Pre-qual screen pops up every 5 mins. Most homes are pending with offers but USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch doesn’t show this. Garbage app

Shows nothing in any county around my neighborhood, conventional or foreclosures. They keep asking for the same information multiple times. There are more closers around my hood, but this only showed 1. Waste of space

USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch will not let me search homes for sale without filling out a form to see if I am qualified. I don’t want to buy one, but want to search for a family member that may be interested.

Do not download unless you want every realtor to call you. Also sells your information to other parties. I have to have my phone on do not disturb constantly because of robo calls now.

I can’t view search results without filling out personal information

So, I can’t sort or filter any homes. I can’t choose how many bedrooms or bathrooms I want to look at. USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch is junk. It won’t work past the home screen.

This is a mediocre app. First of all if you want to see property details you have to submit a form. The form clearly states that your info will be shared with 3rd parties (0 stars so far). You can bypass this form by submitting it empty (1 star). Then you have a ten properties sorted from more expensive to less expensive, there is no way to sort or search options. Go to the next screen and you'll get the annoying form again. The information when you select to view a house os adequate: images, sq footage, price, description (2 stars). NOTE DO NOT LEAVE USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch OR YOU WILL BE FORCED TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN ( I think I'll better remove all my stars). Finally, for foreclosure houses, the prices look quite steep, therefore I wouldn't trust with my info USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch. I have found better houses at better prices using a very well done app from Redfin it has search options maps and most of what you would want to know when purchasing your next house (unlike this very frustrating app).

Trying to assist my daughter and her fiancé in looking for homes, I wanted to have an easier way to narrow down possibilities. Had hoped to open them up to the foreclosure market with an easy to use app; however, this one requires I load MY information prior to even perusing the selected county/city. I do not want to limit myself or them to this information. I think it is ridiculous I am required to load financial information just to look. No thank you! I will go back to Zillow, Trulia, and Redfin before using this. SMDH...

This is a wonderful site that offers free access to foreclosures all around the United States. I'm a former realtor plus I've owned several homes so USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch makes finding a new home to invest in very easy!!! Why pay for a foreclosures list when you can use USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch and get the same information for free!!!!
There are 2 things that need improvement within USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch: one is please start adding in the monthly HOA (if there is one esp for condos and town homes). The other is please update the apps running capacity so downloading your app doesn't slow down my entire phone!

I don't appreciate the immediate spam I received, especially since USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch doesn't provide any detailed listing that a good MLS app provides. This is a joke. The only bank owned properties that showed up are homes already pending, which I know since I've already attempted offers on a few myself. If anyone actually believes their hype that you can get a foreclosure for half the cost are deluding themselves. They are listed at or above market value and unless it's on the market for a long time, it will sell close to that. They typically accept an offer within the first week it's listed, and people are offering more than the listed price. I need an app that also shows properties that aren't on the MLS system yet. This doesn't do it. Im a serious buyer, in fact I need to find something quickly. This was a waste of my time.

I use USHud right now all the time throughout the day. These properties are up-to-date. I like how the search works, and the lists of properties work. It is easy to go back and compare houses. I highly recommend this mobile app for any new homebuyers. I found a lot of properties on this site that I didn't see on other sites! Works just as good on my tablet, too. Must-have app if you want to save money in buying a home.

Initially a pop screen kept popping up asking for contact information. After filling it about 10 times (I had actually decided to delete the application at this point) the screen quit appearing. And now it is actually worth browsing to see if they have any property of interest. Oh, I did receive contact information of a locally affiliated realtor which was a plus! The reason for my 4 star rating is the annoying sign up screen which nearly caused me to delete the application. I will follow up with a further rating once I have further used the application and their services!

They do ask for information, which if you're smart, it shouldn't be a hoop to jump through when you do your initial search. The giving of information should only be a requirement if you are interested in seeing the house. USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch isn't getting more than 2 stars from me until that feature goes away. I can go into any bank to get information on any foreclosure. Usually the information comes as dates and times for an auction of property. Either the developers are scam artists or in the business of getting information and selling it with nothing to lose.

I have about 30 apps on my iPhone and am getting pretty judgemental re: performance, esp when searching a big database. USHUD has a ton of records on foreclosure properties in all 50 states, and its speed is excellent. The records seem very current and USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch is elegantly simple; not the feature bloat I see in so many apps these days. Will move this one to my front page on my iPhone.

Just relocated from a different state and my wife and I were too busy to search properties at home. USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch is great for being on the go! We were able to look at all the properties available and make an informed decision on which property type was best for us. 5 stars!

I generally don't mind giving out information to apps, but I guess that's because I've generally used respectable apps. As soon as I singed up I began receiving spam emails, which didn't bother me too much, and multiple phone calls, which bothered me a lot. If you look at the FAQ on the website it says you can submit a blank form, but there is no indication on the actual form that you can do that (the form insinuates that all fields must be filled in before you can purchase USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch ). Even if USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch was useful I would not use it because I feel like this company is untrustworthy and took advantage of me.

If USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch had (NOD) homes it would be perfect. Notice of default or pre-foreclosed homes require a little more work to be done to ensure a clean title but can be a great way to get a home well under an inflated market value. A good way of making real investment at a more accurate price while helping out a struggling family instead of financial institutions. Sorry for the rant but with that said USHUDForeclosureHomeSearch is as good as it gets with foreclosed properties.
