The water scheduled idea is cool. However if I watered on the recommended schedule all of my plants would be dead. I live in the desert and it is recommending my plants get watered only once every 6 to 14 days depending on the plant. Most of my plants need to be watered every 1 to 2 days and some times twice a day to combat the heat and lack of humidity. I lost 2 plants in one day because I was a few hours late watering due to an appointment. If I listened to this app all of them would be dead.
Also the social feed is useless and I’m not interested in that at all. Half of the time it doesn’t identify the plants or identifies them wrong. Multiple bugs/crashes. Doesn’t offer any support other than a watering schedule. Not worth having the free version and definitely not worth paying for paid version so that you get watering reminders.

I have the paid version of this app… and I love how well this app allows me to track my plants watering schedule and so forth. It’s really helped me keep some plants alive and thriving, honestly! However, I was incredibly disappointed when I realized that though the app allows you to “track” items like repotting, trimming, new growth and how your plant is doing, there doesn’t seem to be anywhere to review this information. I’d love to be able to go back and see how long ago I repotted a plant, or how my plant was doing this time last summer versus now, with a graph or a timeline. I love the “story” option but it doesn’t allow me to see an actual history of the plant outside of photographs. For what I’m paying for the app, I think this would be a very worthwhile feature.
Also, I’d love it if when you specified if a plant was out doors, you didn’t have to fill out all the indoor information to have a “completed” plant.

Pros- great for my adhd cuz I’ll forget I actually have plants. I live that it connects to my weather in my location, and tells me how to support my plants through winter. And it’ll give me averages on how much light my plants are getting! The app is super clean and aesthetically simple. Super duper user friendly.
Cons- what I absolutely hate it that it only keep tracks of watering and is anti fertilizing. I love to fertilize plants as they show new growth with very gentle non burning natural fertilizer every other watering but there is no way to keep track of that since the app doesn’t “recommended” fertilizer I feel like a plant app should give you the choice wether or not you get to track fertilizing and still be able to give it your two cents.
Other then the con it’s a great app! And I just track fertilizing with my notes app along with it which is pretty annoying but functional. I definitely recommend. Especially if you don’t care about not having a fertilizing feature!
