What a shame šŸ‘ŽšŸ¼

I was very excited when I saw this ap and downloaded it. I was having problems with it from the beginning because it wasnā€™t recording the correct number of days or times I was logging in, so I emailed the support team and asked them to look into it for me. I also asked them if they could explain some of the recordings to me they show in their charts, as they donā€™t explain them in their directions. Also, in their directions, the example charts they show are different then the actual ones that are provided to us, making it even more confusing. Personally, I like the example charts better than the actual ones.
The response I received from their customer service team was basically, sorry if youā€™re not happy, feel free to request a refund. And that was basically it. Um... I didnā€™t ask for a refund. All I asked for was for them to look into my account and to explain some jargon terms to me, which they didnā€™t do. Instead, they tell me to go get lost? Okay, thatā€™s what Iā€™ll do then. I downloaded Welltory which is 100% better and tells me sooo much more than I could imagine! Itā€™s fantastic!
In the meantime, they tried to do an update on StressMonitor and now it wonā€™t even record; therefore, yes, I will be asking for a refund because StressMonitor isnā€™t working properly. Itā€™s a shame because I am a chemo patient, with a ton of stress in my life, and this would have been a good app for me, but it led me to Welltory and Iā€™m a happy camper now.

No tracking for daily workouts

I donā€™t understand it says itā€™s in the bad range like every day since I open StressMonitor. In addition it doesnā€™t track any of my exercise when I work out every day -but it says my workouts are zero or it has 2 of 14 days when my Apple Watch shows nine of 14 days with measurable exercise. So itā€™s confusing because every time I open up it says itā€™s in bad range like every time but then at the end of the day it says normal so Iā€™m not sure is that an overall average of the whole day or is that one particular point in time. Even on the analytics section, it has red and no green but Iā€™m getting seven hours of sleep and Iā€™m working out and my heart rate is always normal. I would not recommend specifically because when it says itā€™s in the ā€˜badā€ or Extreme Stredd Red range or ā€œpay attentionā€ It could leave people scared or make them believe they need to go to the emergency room when they may not.

Year Long Subscriber šŸ‘ŽšŸ½

StressMonitor has consumed so much of my time that itā€™s been a distraction throughout my life this past year. StressMonitor will actually cause more stress in an effort to keep a consistent log because many of the tools are measured manually using their features. Pulling the Health data is more efficient. Many other health-related apps have proven that. The team even gave the UI a facelift during my year-long sub, though thereā€™s still much left to be desired.
My advice is import the health data to avoid inconsistent measurements, because your app doesnā€™t provide accurate data, even after multiple attempts at using your tools. I have to run 4-5 ECG tests just to get an average reading. Thatā€™s about 5 minutes of fidgeting, observing, and scratching my head. I like many others have migrated to Welltory as a better alternative.

For Apple Watch users

I was never sure what is the Breathe app on my Apple Watch and how can I use it. I didnā€™t know that during the breath session it stores a lot of the HRV information that can be used even for the stress level prediction and that is great! You will get the most benefit of the Stress Radar app when you use it for at least a few months and try to log as much as possible that on your mind. Also, you train the model and make predictions more accurate. Itā€™s good to analyze the history of your stress levels and know the dependencies.

Great app! Highly recommend!

Not Worth the Money

I was really hoping StressMonitor was going to work. First you really do not get much data before StressMonitor requires you to pay. This should be shared up front! I paid for StressMonitor and am extremely dissatisfied. StressMonitor does like synch throughout the day. The only way it synchs is if you start the breath app and then turn your phone off and then back on for StressMonitor to synch the data. I do not have time throughout the day to do this multiple times. Yesterday StressMonitor synched my data twice and I forced it to synch by using the breath app. For an app that says the work is done behind the scenes there is a lot of synching being done by the user. Read some of the other reviewsā€¦they say similar things about StressMonitor .

I will definitely not renew. I feel like I got scammed!!!

Itā€™s not worthy the subscription

Comparing to other apps, for example Heart&Stress, that you pay a one-time $4, this subscription is not worthy. $39 a year and poor insights: just activity goal / trend and sleep track and quality (which I use another app). Poor UI/UX. I paid because there was no way to progress in StressMonitor and see other functionality. I completely regret and I wish they have a refund policy, but they donā€™t! So I donā€™t recommend pay to the subscription and I donā€™t think you will be able to use StressMonitor on the free version (at least, I was no able to do this). If there is something worthy on the subscription that I canā€™t see, please let me know! And if there is a way to use StressMonitor on a free version, let me know as well.

Do Not Trust this app to use your actual HRV

On the surface StressMonitor seems helpful. StressMonitor does not use your actual HRV. Every HRV measurement by StressMonitor is off by a factor of 50%.
For example, your HRV reading is 50 but StressMonitor will read it as 25. StressMonitor needs to use the HRV number provided by the watch. It should not be dividing the actual HRV by 50%.
StressMonitor has had plenty of time during beta testing to squash this bug. There have been plenty of updates to address this issue.
I do expect StressMonitor to be updated to read correctly. The next step is getting StressMonitor permanently removed from StressMonitor Store.
Attention DEVs: an Apple Watch can successfully take a HRV measurement. Program your app to take that number as it is . Itā€™s that simple.

Love!! šŸ’”

StressMonitor has been right on target. I have been extremely stressed due to some issues at work, home life,, health issues, family and friends. I have a heart condition (usually) under control. StressMonitor has been dead on with times that I knew I was so stressed out and could feel my heart rate was high, and StressMonitor picked it right up!!!! I love that is tracks everything. Enjoying and happy with!

Monitoring Stress

I was excited about StressMonitor. Someone explained to me that by getting the data throughout the day, there are moments where we may or not experience stress regardless if it is physical or psychological. Sounds great.

Donā€™t get too caught up in the numbers. StressMonitor is a general well being for your attention. If you feel that you have a real problem, talk to your doctor. Otherwise, StressMonitor is cool!

Search could be over?

I love what StressMonitor has to offer. Iā€™m going to spend some time with StressMonitor and see what it fully has to offer. I struggle with identifying my feelings and I would love to find out if with these tools available I can struggle less with knowing how I feel in the moment. I suppose StressMonitor starts off with 5 stars, will update before I decide if Iā€™d pay or not.

Was great in the beginning

StressMonitor is great in the beginning first week of using it understanding what was causing me to stress out as I was preparing for the bar exam however after the firstAfter I paid for the premium it started acting glitchy and not working as properly and syncing with my Apple Watch Iā€™ve gone to the settings plenty of times to figure out if itā€™s an error on my end and also thought that maybe it was just an update that it needed but nothing has fix this. I will be deleting no need for a refund.

No auto sync feature

I really wanted to like StressMonitor. I have PTSD and am looking for a way to note specific symptoms with the stress responses to my body.
Unfortunately, you arenā€™t able to add custom tags.
But the biggest failing of StressMonitor is that it doesnā€™t sync with Apple health to the point where it records the readings that are already being taken of your heart. You have to specifically open StressMonitor to log a measurement.
I ended up going with a more expensive option just for the background sync and a full data set.

Stress Monitor

I admit, I was a bit of a skeptic about StressMonitor. It has been spot on for the week. It was very illuminating to events in my daily life, which cause my stress level to show. Also, I like the weekly suggestions.

Great app worth downloading

StressMonitor gather data using my Apple Watch and interestingly based on my data it will analyze my stress level.

Auto checks

This is by far the best, and easiest to use, stress tracker Iā€™ve found, but I do wish it auto-detected more often instead of having to use the breathe app or ECG app to check in. I also wish there were more options in the feeling list when you go to log a feeling. Overall though I do like it.

Forceful subscription message

Honestly, I received one small piece of data from StressMonitor and it without warning sends me into a dialog box where Iā€™m forced to either subscribe or restore my subscriptions. I donā€™t mind paying for good software. But I donā€™t like being strong armed without seeing any value. Feels like a scam app.

Excellent, works with Apple Health

Iā€™m using StressMonitor for about half a year now. Since that time I've become more attentive to my health and body signals. At first, I noticed patterns between my stress and data in StressMonitor . Now, if I see my stress data in the red zone over the week, it's a reliable sign that I need a recharge. For example, a couple of weeks ago I was sick for a few days. But even when I already felt relatively well, StressMonitor showed very low scores. I went to workout and felt how little strength I had and that I could physically do much less than before my illness. StressMonitor said that I need more time for recovery and it was absolutely true. And I always see those patterns. Or when Iā€™m tired after a hard week, or if I forget to have lunch during the day, my score in StressMonitor goes down. When I follow the recommendations in StressMonitor and get enough sleep, regularly achieve my activity goals, dedicate enough time for rest - I see how my physical and mental health get better and my scores in StressMonitor go up. Iā€™m less nervous and depressed and become more productive and balanced instead.
StressMonitor provides very useful insights about my stressors and helps to catch and manage them. On average, I have about 5-7 automatic readings during the day. This is enough for me to have an idea of where Iā€™m going. It is also easy to use StressMonitor on the watch to check my stress level during the day.

To sum up, StressMonitor is essential for those who thrive on self-care and self-improvements. It provides you with great insights into your health and stressors, helps to manage them and achieve a healthy balance in your life.
