So Disappointed

2022-05-22

I just love BloodPressureMonitor. It’s easy to use and the reports and charts are awesome. After using BloodPressureMonitor for about a year, I decided to throw away the notebook I used to show my doctor because BloodPressureMonitor shows my BP and weight so well I grew weary of double entry writing in the paper notebook.
Suddenly, I’m locked out of BloodPressureMonitor . I can’t get to my data because BloodPressureMonitor is stuck on a Purchase or restore page. After using BloodPressureMonitor for a year on my tablet. It doesn’t matter if I swipe up, down, left or right, lm locked out. I now see in comments that this has happened to others! You have the best app ever, until it’s not. Is there any way to get my data back? If there isn’t any way to get, add or share my information, please warn people who have serious health problems that using BloodPressureMonitor may be better for entertainment because important health information entered may be lost without warning.

Ripoff. Want my money back!

2022-06-23

BloodPressureMonitor should be removed. I used the free version on my iPhone. I filled out my profile. Then I filled out my first measurement. Then I filled in all my medication information. Unfortunately, I tried to review the profile. It showed where data had been entered in white rows. There were gray rows below some and I thought I could select one to fill in. But I ended up trapped in a purchase or restore window. There was an icon at the top left that looked like a way to return to previous page but it didn’t respond. There were two selections at the top for Cancel and Restore. Cancel didn’t take me out of there. Text said if I wasn’t using the purchased product that Cancel would work. But I was just stuck in that window. The other option, Restore, gave me a “Transaction completed“ response. Still can’t get back to BloodPressureMonitor . I tried leaving BloodPressureMonitor and going back in but I just get the same Purchase trap page. So I tried the Purchase button and got another transaction completed message. I still can’t get back to BloodPressureMonitor . I’ve tried going to the Apple store and looked for support. The support link takes you to a non-functioning information page. Apple store for BloodPressureMonitor , takes you to the same non-functioning page. So I am not happy that I wasted the time using BloodPressureMonitor and wasted a purchase for something that does nothing. I want a refund.

Last update killed a great app

2022-07-24

I am not sure how long I have been using BloodPressureMonitor, probably 8+years. Worked flawlessly and just random adds at the bottom of the screen. Several weeks ago, the adds switched to full screen and no method to stop them. 2 days ago the last update changed the date input from a scroll wheel to a calendar and text field. Just because Apple updated their time input for alarms doesn’t mean it is correct. Apps should be headed to less keyboard input, not more. Time for a new app, hopefully one of them has an good UI.

Ads are Intrusive

2022-08-25

I understand that when you don’t pay for an app, the developer has to earn revenue in another way, and ads are usually it. However, in the past couple of releases, the ads on BloodPressureMonitor have become extremely intrusive, popping up while you’re trying to enter or review data and filling the entire screen until you figure out how to click them away... until it happens again a few minutes later. It’s unfortunate, because the functionality of BloodPressureMonitor itself is simple, clean, and effective for tracking blood pressure and other related data.

Outstanding App for 2 Reasons

2022-09-26

BloodPressureMonitor was a terrific choice for us when one of my husband’s doctors requested we monitor his BP twice a day. It’s lovely to track and print out the charts for each of his specialists and they not only appreciate it, they admire the report’s features.

I was doubly excited to see that it had the option to add a user and also included a diabetic glucose monitoring feature. I am diabetic and test/insulin up to 7 times a day. While that section is not as user friendly as it could be, it still works for my needs.

The only thing I would suggest for a future update and the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that diabetic portion of BloodPressureMonitor needs to have the insulin medication name and units of insulin separated from each other. Most diabetics insulin units intake will vary with each blood glucose reading so with your system now, one must edit that medication unit every time it’s entered. It’s easily doable but rather annoying nonetheless.

Great app!

2022-10-27

Intuitive and user friendly, much better than another BP app I’ve previously used. I especially like the ability to add a note to each BP data entry if I want.

The only minor and mildly annoying glitch I’ve found with BloodPressureMonitor is that I have to resend the initial email containing BP data stats which is generated by BloodPressureMonitor . The first attempt to email stats to my physician always results in an email delivery failure notification, but it is successful on the second attempt after I forward BloodPressureMonitor generated email from my sent box to the same email address of physician that failed on the first attempt.

However, the simplicity and ease of data entry using this BP app is outstanding, as is the ability to add a note to each entry if desired, which pretty much negates any annoyance encountered with the email glitch.

Set up Question

2022-11-28

Just purchased BloodPressureMonitor and I'm liking it so far. More comprehensive than most. My main goal for BloodPressureMonitor is to determine my husband's cause of high blood pressure to see if we can get it down so he won't have to take BP meds. The factors we need to correlate with the bp readings are his caffeine and sodium intake and I'm not able to figure out how to include those two factors in. Am I able to add those categories anywhere where they will correlate with bp?

Also are you working on a Bluetooth feature that will sync with a blood pressure machine so we don't have to manually enter BP readings?

Great App

2022-12-29

I’ve been using BloodPressureMonitor for over two years now. I have never had any kind of problem entering data or syncing between my devices.

I started using BloodPressureMonitor because my doctor said I had high blood pressure. I take readings every day. I very my entries by checking while at rest or after a brisk one to two mile walk so I can get various conditions recorded. After viewing continuous good reading I think that I can say that the doctor was wrong.

One thing that I would definitely like to see happen with BloodPressureMonitor is to see it sync with the Apple Health app. Please work on doing this and thanks for a nice app.

Love this app!

2023-01-30

My bp is always higher when taken in the doctor’s office so he thought my bp was perfectly normal. After using BloodPressureMonitor, I was able to hand him a printout of bp taken at home, which he acknowledged was “very low.” Doctors seem to be more responsive to hard data than to me telling how I feel. BloodPressureMonitor is easy to use and easy to record the data that my doctor is interested in seeing.

Apple health app integration

2023-03-03

I love BloodPressureMonitor, it was my first health recording app on iOS. Besides BP it is detailed as you like it to be. There is a option to write a long paragraph with your input if you feel a detailed explanation of you measurement is needed. I wish it would export the built in iOS app though. Perhaps I don’t know how to export the data either. I’ll get back if I’m wrong. I still use it but nowadays I enter BP on my watch and forget to use BloodPressureMonitor .

Just what the doctor ordered

2023-04-01

Really. My doctor wants me to keep an eye on my blood pressure so I can share a more thorough tracking than you can get in a couple of visits. He said there’s lots of apps out there- pick one. I’m glad this is the one I picked! BloodPressureMonitor is so easy to use. Once I put in my readings, the time and date are populated just by touching the field in the input screen. I like anything that means less typing to get the job done. The graphs are great- graph coloring makes it easy to see which readings are normal and which aren’t. You can also view them by a.m. or p.m. to see if there are time trends. I have more tracking to do before I share with my doctor but I have to believe he’ll like the clarity BloodPressureMonitor provides.

Works great, very simple to use

2023-05-03

Excellent program which I have been using for over 2 years now. Great way to track your daily stats plus meds you are taking. The only problem I have (and it’s not with the product) is that no Dr. I have seen in over 2 years has shown the slightest interest in my BP history when I offer to show them the stats. Then again, I’m in the VA system so this has come to be expected.

Easy to use and helpful app

2023-06-03

I have been using BloodPressureMonitor for over a year. It’s a simple app that keeps a record of your bp’s. The email option works! I emailed the info to myself and printed a copy for my dr. My doctor said the information was very useful. The only drawback is if you make notes on the reading the notes do not print. I make a lot of situational notes if my bp is elevated. I am very thankful for BloodPressureMonitor.

Does the job

2023-07-05

A quick way to track my blood pressure for myself and my doctor. I manually input readings from my home BP measurement device. It records date and time with one tap, then arm, body position, and my weight with a few more. It allows me to create a list of my prescriptions and OTC meds and select which ones I have taken with a few more taps. Then I can review past inputs in either a list or charts for various time periods.

My Cardiologist loves it!

2023-08-05

I have to track my BP closely after a heart issue. I started using BloodPressureMonitor after good bit of research. At my last appointment I showed the information to my cardiologist, the charts and all. He was very impressed at the information it gave him, with the graphs it’s easy to spot any trends and includes important information such as your pulse pressure. He actually asked the name of BloodPressureMonitor and wrote it down so that he could recommend it to his other patients. It’s been very easy to use.

It's Easy & It Works

2023-09-06

Been using this well over 5 years (archived the earlier years). Inputs are easy. Medication fields are freestyle ie we can use our own words. I even added caffeine to the list. Charts are comprehensive, not in your way yet easy to access with one click. The export/email options are straightforward. Design is minimalist and efficient - no graphics, no distracting prompts, no pop ups, no nagging. Lets us concentrate on the task at hand and move on.

My doctor likes this

2023-10-08

I’ve been using BloodPressureMonitor for several years now and it keeps me on track checking my BP. I’ve compared readings in the office to show the reliability of the home device I use. My doctor especially likes the email feature, allowing her to monitor my status and make adjustments without the need to go in to be seen. I had to convert to the pay version when she added the second medication, because the free version only allows for one, but a small price to pay for how useful it is.

The easiest and most useful blood pressure tracker ever!

2023-11-08

The interface is intuitive, the graphs are useful and the averages, high and low over a given period give my doctor all she needs to know. I have been using the free version for many year, as I only take one med. tried several others when iOS upgrade was temporarily incompatible and none of them were as easy to use, requiring extra fussy clicks to enter the data. I was very happy when an update allowed me to resume use of BloodPressureMonitor. I like that it syncs between my phone and iPad. It is also easy to export spreadsheets of your data. A perfect program.

BPMonitor

2023-12-10

I was using another app that I really liked but then the kiss of death happened. They made all kinds of changes and it sucked! I went through several other apps before I decided to try this one. Been using it to track weight and BP mostly. So far I really like it. Easy to use. Take my pressure, get my weight, enter the numbers. Done! Easy! I would definitely recommend this if you sant to keep track and your numbers for your doc. Since I’m on 2 BP meds and a “water pill” I feel better knowing there’s a place on my phone that I can go to and find the info I want and share it with my doctor!!

A Great App for HBP Patients!

2024-01-10

BloodPressureMonitor has been a vital part of my health care treatment over the last couple of years. I don't use all of the bells and whistles available, but BloodPressureMonitor has been extremely useful and is very easy to use to chart my blood pressure and pulse over time. My doc can look at the chart at a glance during appointments to get the big picture, and I can export to give her details during med adjustments or when I see a problem pattern developing between appointments; my doc has relied on the data I have supplied using BloodPressureMonitor on multiple occasions to treat me. It's also helpful to be able to differentiate between am and pm readings since mine sometimes spikes later in the day. I recommended this to my mom, who is similarly pleased with BloodPressureMonitor .

Integral part of my health management

2024-11-17

I’ve been tracking my bp for years to manage my meds. I record it weekly to every 10 days. I, too, get “white coat syndrome” when I see my nephrologist so I started bringing a printout containing 2 to 3 months most recent data (leading up to the appt) which has been very helpful with doctor’s assessment of my bp management. This apps’ data printout has been a tool in managing med dosages and targeting health points. I recommend it to anyone needing to track their blood pressure- it’s easy to use and a great tool for active participation of your health management. My only critique is in the text printout format - it’s very plain - perhaps some formatting to make the data pop out for an quick read.

Easiest to use app

2024-11-17

I have been using BloodPressureMonitor for over two years. It has been easy to use daily to take blood pressure readings and record them. I like the settings where you can just touch the box and your fixed and put remains the same daily. BloodPressureMonitor shows historical information which is valuable to track trends and any significant changes in your blood pressure or heart rate. I highly recommend BloodPressureMonitor for recording your blood pressure and heart rates.

Great app and super reports

2024-11-17

Since having a stroke and PE blood clots I have been tracking my blood pressure at my doctors request. I had been using a different app to track my blood pressure but was not satisfied with it so checked around and found BP Monitor. Like the program it’s easy to use and has some fantastic reports that I can show my cardiologist. I also like the note to function in addition to the medication function on BloodPressureMonitor the only thing I wish he did have was a box that would record irregular heartbeats. Right now I’m using the notes section to record that but wish it was integrated into BloodPressureMonitor and showed the data in the reports when it prints. Maybe this is something that could be worked into the application and released in the next update.

Works for me!

2024-11-17

I find BloodPressureMonitor simple and easy to use. And then only use it to track my blood pressure and pulse over time, but also my weight. It allows you several different ways to look at the data as well as the ability to email it to health professionals such as ear doctor or cardiologist. It’s simple to use and reliable and deliver is just what I want. I definitely recommend it.

Keep track of daily numbers

2024-11-17

BloodPressureMonitor is simple and straightforward. Allows me to manually input my blood pressure, glucose and weight and time stamp the data so I can do it as often, several times a day or daily etc. with a Note. it allows me to set the default for height, and calculates BMI. I wish I could set defaults for A1c and LDL,HDL,Triglycerides etc. Medications that do not change daily but are updated with doctors visits and lab work.
