May 17, 2024 A major fire southeast of Flin Flon Manitoba is not being shown on FireFringe. The Manitoba community of Cranberry Portage is under imminent threat and has total evacuation. Why is this fire “missing” on FireFringe? Brian G.

How to fix FireFringe app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the FireFringe app on iPhone
Update FireFringe app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall FireFringe iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix FireFringe on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve FireFringe network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

FireFringe Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix FireFringe not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the FireFringe App
1. On android, goto Settings » FireFringe » click [Force Stop]

Update FireFringe to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear FireFringe App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » FireFringe » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart FireFringe.

Fix FireFringe unable to contact server/ FireFringe internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click FireFringe » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto FireFringe » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch FireFringe
