K-Collect Reviews

KCollect seems like it could be really good with some fixes. It could run a lot smoother; I've experienced a few crashes since i got it, and everything takes forever to load. Even after just clicking on a card, it takes about 30-45 seconds for the buttons to load in so you can select if you want or have the card, and after that it also takes about 30 seconds for it to load and be put into your collection. This made putting a lot of cards into my collection pretty tedious.

Some ideas i have for KCollect would be to make it easier to add photocards to your collections. I think there should be a feature where you can select multiple cards at a time and add them all at once instead of having to add them one by one. Also it would be helpful if there was an option to see who you are following, not just your followers.

Other than slow loading times and crashing, KCollect is great!

As someone who has only gotten into collecting very recently I haven't struggled as much as others, but I do know the pain of keeping track of photo cards via a list in my Notes app. KCollect cama along at just the right time! It's really cleanly designed and minimal, I love being able to see which member's cards I have the most of, different sets and versions, etc. I'm really hoping in the future we will be able to mark off physical albums in collections, see some non-album photocards, and have an indicator as to which albums are fully completed in the collections tab. I know KCollect is completely run by a small team and one developer so I just wanted to say it's amazing what you've done so far, I gladly would have paid for KCollect but you've really gone the extra mile and made it free, so I had to support you guys on Patreon! keep up the good work and don't let negativity bring you down, you guys are awesome! ^^

It’s already doing really well with how it’s set up. I had a lot of fun organizing everything and seeing cards I haven’t seen before. The main issues being it’s super super buggy and missing a lot of photocards. I think some sort of fan upload system would be smart! You’d have to like have a way double check if they are real or inappropriate but I bet that would make the back up on finding pictures way faster. A cool feature too would be able to organize the photocards in my collection alphabetically or by version(or both). The marketplace will be awesome I bet once that’s up a lot more users will pop in. Making a feature in the marketplace for trading would be so cool too. We can finally get off insta 😭 once it’s less buggy of course lol.

This is app is amazing in my opinion. Yeah, it's taking a while to upload all of the photocards to date, but that's because there are literally over 100 groups on there, ranging from two members to eighteen members, that have had multiple physical albums. With that being said, everything is being uploaded quickly in my opinion, although not all the artists i want to collect are all there 100%, it's fine because i'm not selfish and am willing to wait for my faves to be updated. The only flaw is that it's a bit slow, which can be frustrating but that's fine, it's expected. It'll be fixed soon :D. Thank you for this great app and making it way easier to collect cards.

KCollect hasn’t been out long and I know the creators are doing everything to load up all the pictures of almost every group out there which is so amazing tbh. There isn’t a bunch you can do right now however it is in beta and I know they plan to do more an expand in the future so I can’t wait to see all the improvements and upgrades down the road! I know there was a photocard website I used to try to figure out what I need and with KCollect I can do that and more! Also unlike the website which seems to not always be up to date I assume they creators will do what they can to keep this up to date. Thanks for the hard work and I love KCollect so far!

i really have nothing bad to say, except that it’s a great app with great potential. i don’t collect cards that extravagantly, but I do sell a lot so it’s easier for me to lose track of the cards i sell to replace the ones that i actually want to buy. in all, KCollect is so convenient and a great idea. the only problem i’m really having is how slow and unresponsive the buttons seem to be. it also takes a long time for things to load, and KCollect sometimes does crash on me.

Great concept but Some of the stuff doesn’t load AT ALL (It’s just a white screen) and I been waiting for them to put in the photo cards that says that it doesn’t have photo cards and it still not there. What I noticed that the bigger groups like Nct, EXO, SuperM, and etc, have photo cards for the new albums but for groups like Dongkidz, SF9, and ONF, Etc, don’t have photo cards for new albums. And it’s going to take a while for them to put the photo cards to be put in. I remember I had KCollect (when it was released) and it was a bunch of bugs and I can still see some of those bugs in here too. I re-download like 3 months later ( I un-downloaded) bc there was an update and it took forever to be finished. I tried to be sooo patient with KCollect but I just can’t anymore, it’s just a waste of storage.

I really love the concept of KCollect as someone who collects for multiple groups but also as someone who just likes to see what others collect, as well as just what photocards for groups I am not familiar with may look like. It might just be my phone and my data but the pictures don’t load, and the buttons in app are very slow and unresponsive. The profile interface is also hard to update. I do like the progress bar of the photocards, it’s like goodreads but for kpop! I also wonder about including non-album photocards eventually on KCollect as I know a lot of what makes a kpop collection big are the photocards beyond the albums. Otherwise I’m very excited to see where KCollect goes!

I’m loving it so far! Its so cute and i’m excited to watch this app grow and cards be added with community effort. I can tell how much love has been put into this app from all parties involved in its development and that just makes it feel even more special. Especially as a photocard collector, KCollect is perfect and streamlined and a delight to use. Thank you so much for your continued hard work and effort with this wonderful project and i’m excited to see where it goes/ what is planned next 💕💕💕

Of course this a new app it has flaws. For example, when you want to look at a photocard the picture isn’t there. Of course that isn’t a huge problem but it would be nice if it were fixed. I think that’s all the flaws I don’t know if there’s more. I have been waiting for KCollect when it announced it was going to be released. It’s great the quality is great! It’s a very useful app and I hope it gets better with time!

I really like KCollect, and I see a lot of potential in it!
I’m personally more focused on collecting albums, not photocards, so I would definitely get more use and enjoy KCollect more if/when there’s a album collecting feature.

I do have one problem with KCollect though- For some reason KCollect has a hard time loading on my phone, and it will take a while for the photos to load. I’m not sure if that is the apps fault, or my phones fault. But, I did try it on my sister’s device too, and it still has issues. So I hope that could be fixed?

I really think if the developers keep upgrading and improving KCollect , it could grow into every kpop collector’s 1# essential app! Keep up the good work K-Collet team, thank you for making this super cool app! Stay healthy and safe guys ❤️

I had seen the video of the owner introducing us to KCollect and I thought it was extremely useful seeing I already have 19 albums and I only started in December of last year. But as I was making my account the maintenance screen showed up. It’s been a few days and it’s still on maintenance, it didn’t show the maintenance screen yesterday but that was only for a second. How long does maintenance usually take?

I think KCollect would be very useful in the kpop collecting community; however, there are some flaws that could be worked out and improvements made to make it better. I don’t know if it’s just me but KCollect runs very slow and it takes a while for the images to load. I also downloaded KCollect hoping I could try to find trades/sales/sellers to help complete my own photocard collection, but discovering other people and communicating with one another is rather difficult.

I’ve loved using KCollect so far! I’m excited to see how KCollect grows and develops. I’m looking forward to being able to use this as a more streamlined way of trading photo cards. Please be understanding with KCollect developers who are working on this- you can easily check their social media accounts to see updates on KCollect everyday. There’s so many artists and content to add, so just be patient!

I absolutley love KCollect, I use it sm, and I've made it a routine to mark down what new pc I have as soon as I store it in my binder!! but it does take a while sometimes because KCollect has a glitch where it doesn't immediately remember the card you've marked off, and you have to mark it down 5-6 times before it actually remebers, but this is a fixable flaw, and other then that I really love KCollect!! <33

I really like the concept of KCollect, it’ll make trading photocards easier. However, I do have some complaints. The photos of the photocards don’t load all the way and KCollect just feels very slow right now. There should also be an easier way to make friends and find people who collect similar groups to you. However, taking into consideration that KCollect is new and I know how hard everyone worked to create it, i know that there will be improvements in the future!

i love the idea of KCollect but everything loads so slowly that it's unusable. not since 1997 have i had to wait so long for a single picture to load. takes about a minute or so for anything that i click on to fully load. i just don't have the time for this - way faster to fill out an ig template unfortunately

is the home screen supposed to be just white? how are you supposed to find people to trade with? why am i able to mark things as needed if i can't find a list somewhere of everything i need? how come when i mark a photocard as needed, click away, and click back, it's now marked as "don't need"? why have a list of members if i can only filter pcs by album, and not by member? 2 stars for having a really awesome concept with really poor execution. truly don't understand how KCollect has a 3.9 average when it's completely useless

I think KCollect is so amazing and had a lot of potential only thing that bothers me is KCollect is kinda slow and glitches a lot. Somethings don’t load until you reopen KCollect again. Other than that I really like that you can keep track of a lot of PCs and albums, last thing is i keep wondering why you aren’t able to see some of the photocard pictures .

As a new photocard collector, I think KCollect is so useful to keep track of what I need- especially for older or Japanese albums. Even though there are a few bugs, KCollect is still very helpful. Thank you to everyone who has been sending in photocard scans to help the creators out!

KCollect is honestly great, I’m a beginner card collector. Two little critique about KCollect. One, it a little slow/laggy, but that might just be me. Two, it also might just be me but, I can’t see some of Twice’s photos cards. For example, if I go to Fancy and click on set some members photo card image will be miss. KCollect is really good for a new app, it has great potential!

KCollect is definitely headed in the right direction. I can’t give it 5 stars bc it isn’t perfect, but based on the launch I can tell it will one day be 5 stars. The concept of having an app designed to trade and keep track of what photo cards I have and need is genius. I’ve been doing it manually in my notes but this simplifies my whole process! Thanks for it

I love the idea of KCollect and I know it will go far. The only problem I have is that it’s slow and laggy and there aren’t any pictures on some photocards which can be a bit confusing if you aren’t at home checking each card. Over all I love KCollect and can’t wait for future updates. :)

I think that KCollect needs a little bit of work so all of the listed groups have the works available and so all pictures are showing. Also, I would like to be able to add albums, since that is my main focus. Wait later for non-album cards, and work on pictures and groups for now! Amazing looking app! Thanks!

I really love the concept of KCollect. It’s definitely promising. Has a few issues but I understand that it is just beta version and it hasn’t been fully released. I am totally looking forward to the full release! Can’t wait to trade on there and keep my photocard collection organized. <3

There are alot of bugs like the photocards not loading properly and alot more but its pretty good for a new app, i found out about KCollect from katie (shawolzenl) and was not disappointed. Look forward towards the future of KCollect :3

i just downloaded it and I could never be happier!! this is just KCollect I needed since I collect 4 groups! before KCollect it has been so hard organizing and find the right sources! thank you for all your hard work🥺❤️

Everything about KCollect is great! Since it is new, it isn’t gonna have most of everything fully completed, like the photo card pictures. Looking forward to the new update!

I really like KCollect, it’s actually really helpful. the only thing I do have a problem now is how not all the pictures of the photo cards are there so it’s kind of hard to indicate what version the albums are. but hopefully they cards can get uploaded soon 🥺 thanks for this amazing app!

KCollect does need some work (things have trouble loading) but I think the concept is really amazing and I’m sure everything will be fixed soon enough! can’t wait! 💜
