Agapé: Feel Close When Apart Reviews

First of all, I really like the intentions of Agapé . It’s helped my partner and I have a place for some more serious conversations and helps us talk about things we sometimes forget to talk about. Overall this functions well in Agapé and I like that it sorts through different categories of topics.

Functionality wise, there’s room for improvement. The messaging interface always keeps text I’ve sent in the text box. So if I come back to a conversation and want to say more I need to delete that. Also the notifications don’t always clear and are often irrelevant after a day but stay unread. Some bugs with these aspect could be improved.

Going forward, I’d want a want to organize the conversations I have rather than leaving them all saved on the main screen and to go through them I have to scroll.

My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship and Agapé is so great. It sparks conversation on things we haven’t really talked about. Also, we’ve been dating for two years so it’s nice to have these types of meaningful conversations. I see it as a diary between you and your partner. Definitely practices effective and healthy communication. Also, my boyfriend isn’t the type to express himself through writing but he loves Agapé. He said “how did you find out about app? It’s a cute lil app” and that meant everything to me lol he even responded to a question before I did. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

I normally don’t write reviews, but I felt I had to share how Agapé has changed my life. I’ve never felt more connected to my partner. It’s crazy that something as simple as answering a daily question can have such an amazing affect on my relationship! People are upset about the free version, but the founders are listening! They’re adding more free functionality. Give them a break and support small creators. Agapé is worth the money and will give you more value than a Netflix subscription!

My girlfriend and I love answering questions about our relationship each day. It’s definitely been bringing us closer together and giving us a better understanding of each other and what’s important to each other.

I do have some feature requests, though! Could we get a drafts feature and also a little indicator of how many additional comments are on a question in the scrapbook page?

So I made a review a couple of months ago saying how Agapé was a little repetitive, but since then they have improved a lot!! My partner and I answer one question each day and they’ve become so much more unique!! I like that they added the option to choose your own question to answer. I love Agapé and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their relationship!!

Truly loved Agapé after the first week, and just purchased premium (started with the free version which was great too, just less features). Excellent customer service too! I love that Agapé provides fun ways to engage with each other and truly grow a relationship even if each of you are limited on time and energy. We look forward to a new question each day!!

My boyfriend and I have been using Agapé for a couple months. I love Agape. It gives you prompts you typically wouldn’t encounter with your partner otherwise. It isn’t face to face so you have a chance to feel vulnerable with less fear of rejection. And when you both feel vulnerable and give an honest genuine response you guys become closer and better partners. We love agape I wish more people knew about it.

My boyfriend and I have had Agapé for a while. I never write reviews EVER, but Agapé is a true gift. It has fostered healthy communication and made us closer. Answering the question and reading his response is the highlight of my day. We’ve already been dating for 5 years, but we always learn something new through Agape. It’s like a fun little game :) every day you get a new prompt and you can’t see it until the other persons answered. I’m not good at face to face vulnerability. But this helps my partner still know how I’m feeling or learn about each other and in a fun way :) it’s like our daily long distance ritual. Proud of my college friend for her work on Agapé. Agapé is beautifully designed and offers great insight into relationships, it’s helping my current one grow and become more meaningful. Initially there were some technical difficulties but I messaged a staff member and they got it fixed almost right away and gave me awesome customer service. This is a must have app for anyone in a serious relationship🙌🏻

I have loved Agapé since my fiancée and I got it. It helps sparks conversations that normally wouldn’t be had and makes me feel closer to her.
Although, after the update I can’t seem to get Agapé to let me start premium again. I click start premium and nothing happens.

I do long distance with my boyfriend and sometimes feeling that connection gets hard but Agapé allows me to be reassured that the feelings are still there . It’s a sweet idea and the questions have been really good so far

Downloaded Agapé recently. At first you would get past the first step of opening Agapé and then it would crash. Checked again today and saw there was an update. My small glimmer of hope quickly faded after receiving “Failed to prepare account!” message five times. But after reading reviews I’m not sure I ever want it to work. If you want people to pay for an app then do it upfront. Alas, I’m just a poor lesbian trying to make my sure long distance relationship lasts.

I feel like Agapé glitches more often than most high quality apps. Additionally, I have text enlarged on my screen and the way text overlays on Agapé causes half the things I look at to be covered by floating/pop-up like text. This could be improved

My boyfriend and I are not the best at showing our love for each other during the day especially, we are so busy and this takes maybe a minute and makes me feel so good just to see what he says! LOVE Agapé SO MUCH

It’s a great way to get to know your partner better and to just become closer. Can help work through differences and just make the relationship better overall.

You never know what’s going to come up and we have something interesting to talk about.

The addition of wellness checks and photo memories is great! It feels more like a journal now than just a conversation every 12 hours.

I have not been using Agapé very long but I really like what it has offered my wife and I already.

I look forward to my daily agape. I’m so thankful for Agapé. Also the team is super thoughtful and responsive!

I’ve been looking for an app like this app. I’m a pretty mindful person and I’ve always wanted a way to incorporate mindfulness into my relationship. The daily questions are the perfect way to do that. But honestly, my favorite feature is the scrapbook. I love reading our answers to old responses and sharing the extra sweet ones with friends. I just wish I could add my own memories to it!

I’m not in a relationship right now, but Agape has been a great way for me to reflect on my own actions and behaviors. Especially when it comes to self love and how to be a great partner. Definitely worth the subscription!

My boyfriend purchased the month subscription for unlimited questions for him and I, yet it would not let us use the premium version. We both couldn’t access our daily agape questions even after purchasing the premium version, which is extremely frustrating. There has been no one to help us so far. Keep this in mind when purchasing Agapé .

I love what this app stands for! Such a beautiful concept that makes it so easy to stay close to your loved ones! 10/10 recommend

Doesn’t work for those living overseas. My boyfriend is living in London and I’m in the states and he couldn’t download it. 😔
