How to fix swisstopo app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the swisstopo app on iPhone
Update swisstopo app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall swisstopo iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix swisstopo on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve swisstopo network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

swisstopo Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix swisstopo not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the swisstopo App
1. On android, goto Settings » swisstopo » click [Force Stop]

Update swisstopo to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear swisstopo App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » swisstopo » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart swisstopo.

Fix swisstopo unable to contact server/ swisstopo internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click swisstopo » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto swisstopo » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
