TeleGuard looks nice and the security aspect of it sounds great. Unfortunately, it is impossible to link my US phone number with TeleGuard - I get a “Send approve code error” every time I try. Therefore, I am unable to see any friends which might use TeleGuard.
Update:
The problem with my American cell phone is not due to adding additional 0s as suggested by the developer. TeleGuard shows the number correctly in the format +1-XXX-XXX-XXXX before it fails to send me the confirmation text message. Therefore I tried to contact customer support as instructed on their website directly via their this app ID. However, I can’t communicate with them as nobody accepts my “invitation”. The contact for this app Support shows since 2 weeks in broken English “you have send invite”.
I still think TeleGuard would be great if it worked, but as of now, it does not work for me at all.

The privacy model is better than most other apps. I am hoping this becomes more stable in the near-term. One issue I am having is receiving notifications from a user in Mainland. This user is also having issues with receiving notifications.
TeleGuard is really serious. Beats all those E2E chat apps by miles. No phone number, email address needed to sign up. Swiss based for easier data privacy regulations.

Love TeleGuard and Swiss cows. All it needs to be the very best app out there is self destructing messaging and screen shot protection, then it probably would be one of the top three messaging apps in the world, if not already one now.
