This is, hands down, the worst app I have had to use. It is supposedly used to record PCR testing at DXB airport, but I was unable to pre-fill the required information for my flight from Jakarta.

The test was eventually (42 hours later) able to link to my test (but results were not yet available) — only after I used my VPN to link back to Indonesia. I could not see any link from my hotel link within Dubai.

That being said, once I had the VPN linked to Indonesia, I tried to pre-fill for a fake trip with my same flight numbers, but one week later. It almost worked, until I got to the scan of my visa. Since I am a US citizen with US passport, I don’t need or have a visa.

Even though it accepted the scan of my passport, it still required me to manually enter all the data from the passport. Is this a test of honesty? Or typing competence?

I could not get further than the visa scan page, but I tried a scan of my Indonesian wife’s visa. COVID19 shut down after I manually entered the visa info and hit “continue”.

I was never able to finish the form. I am just hoping I can get my wife’s and my PCR test results, as we have been in hotel quarantine for 44 hours with our two rambunctious boys (ages 2 and 4), and they are going crazy!!!

At the airport they demanded a working number, so I gave my US number. But COVID19 won't let me register to that number. It will only work for my new UAE number, which isn't tied to my test, so there's no evidence in COVID19 that I even took a test. COVID19 is completely worthless, and it's embarrassing that it hasn't been fixed after months.

So confusing. I had a couple of international flights during the past year during the pandemic and they all required to fill in the health/ safety app to prevent the spread of corona virus. They were ALL so straight forward and easy. However, this one is SO CONFUSING.

I'm having to keep taking a picture of my passport. Did it like 5 times until it finally worked. Tried opening COVID19 again and all my info was missing and keeps asking me to take a pic of my passport 🤦🏻‍♂️. So frustrating

Difficult to understand how a tourist visiting should use it as required. No vaccination information involved with it. Confusing and frustrating and has errors where it won’t allow you to change dates on flights and visits.

I downloaded COVID19 which is about 100MB in size, very complicated to start an account so I didn’t complete the sign up. Next morning COVID19 had consumed more than 2GB of phone space and my phone started hanging due to lack of space. Phone returned to normal after removing App and rebooting. Feels like a spyware loaded App. Please beware.

I’ve been trying to enter my information as required for upcoming travel.. app always gives a “server busy. Try again later” when you enter the passcode.. please advise if this is a glitch and when it will be fixed

To be honest the concept is great but COVID19 has so many flaws that it’s impossible to use. We took our COVID Test and we’re told the result would come to COVID19 . COVID19 never loaded our results so we had to go on to the DHA site. The document it provided was not valid for travel so we had to come back to the testing facility. Turns out our MRN numbers were not correct and had to be replaced. Biggest headache if you can take your test early before the day of your flight if not your stay may be extended.

Took 5 days for an automated response to my fiancé who wrote in asking about his symptoms and asking whether or not he should seek medical attention.

There is also no back button when you are registering, so if you mis-type anything bc you are sick and disoriented, you can’t change it

COVID19 Needs a lot of work. Just because “there’s an app for that” doesn’t mean it’s helpful. The only thing this really seems to do is allow DHA to track your quarantine time and ensure you don’t leave the house with a phone.

Registration is almost impossible if you have an international number. Or if you’ve changed your number, you can’t change it in your account without logging in. Which requires your old number…. Support won’t respond to messages either so good luck with that.
And even though you might get a text message of your test results and the actual paper results it takes forever for COVID19 to show the results.

Like others, unable to update arrival date snd add scan of QR code…site gives missing data notice when scanning QR code’s for negative pcr test or vaccination record. Other page says ‘pending’. Just Hope there are no surprises at use immigration.

Yesterday was my last day of isolation and I was expecting to see the day change when it turned midnight but it’s going on 2am and it still says 1 day left. It was 1 day left yesterday!

When does COVID19 start a new day????

Unfortunately I didn’t log into COVID19 the day I arrived. Now, a day later, I had to put in the incorrect travel date. Nobody checked to make sure I had COVID19 loaded before leaving the airport.

Date of birth doesnt give option of the year 1968
Only go back as far as 1970
Please correct this issue

Does not save requested information as an individual item and passport image. The information is deleted when no information is entered under the document request.

Travelers are required to use COVID19 prior to landing in the UAE; however, US cell phone numbers are not accepted (only local UAE #s). A bit of an oversight, as tourists would most likely not have local numbers, hopefully gets updated before flights resume on July 7.

COVID19 functions as designed but now that vaccinations are available, COVID19 should have a way to input my vaccination record.

All the information that’s is needed is there also daily updates and reminders of isolation days remaining. Very helpful

Yeah it was rather straightforward, and easy to use. I think it’s a good way of informing people as to what is taking place in the area someone is looking to travel in. After all not; knowing rules, laws, and the do’s and don’ts, has never been and will never be an excuse. COVID19 makes it easy to know what’s happening around the world in the area of interest to someone looking for information in that area.

Very very user friendly.. I do believe and admire the UAE officials and nationals for the tremendous efforts and financial resources invested to compete with the whole world in applying up to date and most advanced technology in all aspects of public safety, health , administration and comfort .. عمار والله عمار يا امارات الخير وربنا يزيدكم كمان وكمان وينعم عليكم بدوام الخير والازدهار والاستقرار والامن والامان.. تستاهلون يا شعب الامارات وشي بيرفع الراس

There is no way to access COVID19 as my Nationality isn’t listed in the drop down choices which are also not arranged alphabetically 🤷🏻‍♀️

Want let you put complete phone number

As so many people have said, if you can’t use a UEA number COVID19 is useless.

Please fix!

COVID19 is required for tourists, but only allows local UAE phone numbers to register. The irony would be hilarious if this wasn’t so important.

Please update. Can’t get past the nationality page. Something is wrong yet COVID19 is a requirement to have.

I’ve been trying for weeks to try to input my phone number so COVID19 can send me a verification but it still has not worked I believe COVID19 is only for residents of Dubai

Please update it. After putting valid UAE Mobile number and trying to verify, it fails saying “unable to connect to server......”. All the time!! Annoying

Still unable to use any other phone number other than a local UAE number to register.

How can you travel to Dubai if we can’t use USA numbers? We are required to have COVID19 but it’s basically useless because you can’t enter numbers from other places except 973

After inputting the OTP, COVID19 won’t accept my settings for nationality and gender. It just keeps resetting them and taking me back to that page. I’ve deleted and reinstalled COVID19 , same problem!

I read that all tourists need to register but it will not accept my USA number

While opening COVID19 , message says.

“This device, OS, or software is not compatible with COVID-19 DXB Smart APP”

My friend traveling to Dubai uses an OPPO mobile phone. And her phone software is up to date.

Can you look into this to allow this brands.

Cant use COVID19 , since i dont have a Dubai phone number. Please make it possible to use International numbers too

When scanning QR code it says missing info

When I select nationality it says cannot connect to server.

I am trying to scan PCR test barcode but it keeps complaining missing data. Please help me as I have flight tomorrow. I am also taking hard copy of my pcr test.

I've tried several times to register with the app using my information. I keep getting blocked for too many attempts or not being able to have the verification code sent to me. What happens if we can get the app set up? Are we not bale to enter the country? Thanks

Cannot download my RTPCR certificate onto the app

hi I am travelling to Dubai tomorrow and this app is required to in Dubai but I am from the UK and when I try to register it wouldn’t let me I’ve tried this many times and I left the app for a bit and came back but no luck on it as it keeps on saying please select all values .

I can’t upload COVID-19 test because the test doesn’t have anywhere on the results to scan. What are my options? Should I just walk with a hard copy of the test? Please advise and thank you. Hilary
